Today on the show we're talking about how my circadian rhythm got thrown off by eating a damn burger at the wrong time. As you know, I have cyclothymia, which is a low-grade bipolar disorder that requires emotional and mood regulation for normal functioning. Getting into a chemical rhythm is important to remain balanced, so I got thrown off and am now sitting in dysthymia. So, I thought I'd share that story with you today on DOPEamine!

Today on the show we're talking about significance, more specifically about not outsource your significance. Too many times do we put ourselves below others based on what we see in social media or what we experience in others. We see someone as more famous or richer than us and equate that to our sense of significance. At it's core, it's all relative. Our significance should first be defined by us but we favor the opinion of others most often. We're talking all about that significance on today's episode of DOPEamine!

Today on the show we're talking about our relationship with time. How can we better take advantage of time and the relativistic nature of time? We tend to confuse time with energy and priority, so getting specific about the time we're actually using is a very important first step. I share how I've been improving my relationship with time doing Uber to be more productive and better enjoy the random increments that I have. The goal is to reduce stress and improve our relationship with time here on DOPEamine!

Today on the show we're talking about "They" "Those People" "Them"...who are these people? Why are we talking about this vague thing with such disdain? We're here to talk about the benefits of specifying who you're speaking about not just from social, religious, and political perspective but in relation to your mental health. It takes a lot of mental energy to harbor resentment and feed the anger beast within us when there's nothing we can do about it. Let's ask some questions today on DOPEamine!

Today on the show we're talking about analyzing our past relationships. I spent a ton of time looking through the past to figure what I did wrong, so I can take that into my current relationship as a path for growth. But it's also about finding appreciation for the good things that happened within those relationships or the sheer fact that someone was willing to spend exclusive time with us. That's pretty incredible on it's own. So, on this episode I'm breaking my own personal past relationships to share what I loved, what worked and expressing some gratitude today on DOPEamine!

Today on the show we're introducing you to the enneagram of personality. Enneagram is an ancient way of assessing the armor we put up in our every day lives based on personal past traumas or experiences that shapes who we are then finding a path to who we truly are by working through those traumas or experiences. The Enneagram is quite interesting because it's popularity seems to be fixed on having a clearer road map for people than Myers-Briggs or other type models. However, that doesn't dismiss the power of other models as combining them is really where the meat is. We break down what Enneagram is and briefly navigate some of the types to give you an idea of what it's about today on DOPEamine!

A major aspect of my personal development journey has been about accessing my own personal sense of bravery. In a recent episode, I spoke about how I've been feeling internally zen more than I've ever felt but that exists within a world that I very much can control. The world doesn't typically operate that way. The typical human experience involves so many variables that we don't typically have access to in any controlled environment. So how does that zen hold up in real-world scenarios? The only way to find out is to put myself out there and test it against real-world data. That requires getting outside of my comfort zone and accessing bravery to enter new worlds with my new set of armor. Let's break it down on today's episode of DOPEamine. Let's go!
