Niechia Smith is a small town girl with a big heart. Born in Kinston, NC and raised in a few places to include Philadelphia, PA, Washington D.C, and San Antonio, TX she is no stranger to life’s adversities. It is through her own healing journey having experienced childhood trauma, anxiety, & depression that the company Soulstice Exchange was cultivated. In 2017 she completed a holistic healing certification and is also currently an International Sports & Science Association certified personal trainer. When asked how physical health and wellness ties into spiritual well being she stated "everything we do be it for the betterment of who we are spiritually, mentally, physically, and/or emotionally helps to align us in a way that allows each and every one of us to be fully present in the world not only for ourselves but for others. Niechia is a wife and mother of 3 on a mission to share her story with the world and educate others on the benefits of holistic wellness.

Symbolic Soul was born and raised in the Jazzy vibration within New Orleans, Louisiana, but later on transported to the historic mark of Alamo city known as San Antonio, Texas where she had discovered what God purposed from her crosses.

Taking pain from abuse and transforming it into a sole mission and joy in heart Symbolic Soul utilized a preparation to minister by healing lost and broken souls through her electrifying existence in a poetic style.

Graduating as PHI THETA KAPPA in the honor society she pursued further to obtain a degree in sociology, while constructing the blueprinted format of becoming an electrifying singer, writer, lyricist, and performer.

Acquiescing that God isn’t finished with her yet, Symbolic Soul walks upon the bricks that her Father so lays before path’s Foot printed purpose and as a published author of “HEALING SOULS” Turning Pain Into Purpose, where she delivers an inspirational message.

Symbolic Soul continues in standing her ground and breaking her silence from abuse through her sweet melody that brings about an alluring healing to everyone inner spirit with a CD, which was released on March 20, 2021.

Catrell was born and raised in Bradenton, FL and entered active military service in July 2001 as a Supply Management Technician. Her background includes Logistics and Airfield Management duties at locations in Louisiana, South Korea, Georgia, Nevada, and Guam. She experienced a rocky start at the beginning of her career and it was not always easy.

She started an organization called FLEX, which means “Fulfill Limitless Expectations.” She came up with this mantra because she did not always believe in herself or her abilities. This movement has spread with supporters across the globe. She is an avid believer in inspiring and pushing individuals to be their best selves. She mentored young girls under the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and believes that everyone has greatness in them as long as they believe it first.

Kathya Alexander is a writer, actor, storyteller, and teaching artist. Her writing has appeared in ColorsNW Magazine, Arkana Magazine, Raising Lilly Ledbetter, and the Pitkin Review. She won the Jack Straw Artist Support Program Award; 4Culture’s Artists Projects Award; and the WRAP Award, Youth Arts Award, and the CityArtist Award from Seattle’s Office of Arts and Culture. Her play, HomeGoing, was chosen for residency at Hedgebrook Women’s Writer's Retreat and her play, Black To My Roots: African American Tales from the Head and the Heart, won the Edinburgh Festival Fringe First Award in Edinburgh, Scotland for Outstanding New Production. Her book, a collection of short stories called Angel In The Outhouse is available on Amazon.

Today's guest on Dopee Conversations is Dr. Laylon Price. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Dr. Price is the founder of Pathways Computer Learning Center. Now residing in Charlotte, NC, Dr. Price is also a high school business and IT instructor. Dr. Price founded the pathways computer learning center with one vision in mind. To bring IT into the forefront with youth. He's taught a variety of Business and IT courses such as Accounting, Java Programming, C# Programming, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Dreamweaver(just to name a few). Today we are going to share Dr. Price's story, vision, and programs. We are going to answer some questions alluding to why our youth should be actively involved in the IT world, and how Dr. Price can get us there.

Today's guest on Dopee Conversations is Kayla Woods, affectionately goes by KayKay. A product of Little Rock, AR, she's a 21 years old force to be reckoned with in the camera/film business industry. connecting with her purpose and passion in Atlanta, she took the opportunity of a lifetime working at a production studio. Taking her talents and experience back to Arkansas her dreams began to flourish in early 2019. She's now a full time entrepreneur and student. In2020, I released my two biggest projects which were “Like KayKay,” a musicvideo remake of “Like Mike” and my short film “Therapy.” With projects in works, today we will learn why kaykay was recently selected for The Arkansas Shorts "Audience choice" award for 2021.
