DOWNHILL (2020) Downhill is the American revision of Ruben Ostlund's cringeworthy 2014 masterpiece, Force Majeure. Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell play a married couple on a ski trip with their kids whose pleasant stay is upended by a scary incident. After the snow falls, the tension rises, and uncomfortable truths come up in humiliating ways. But does the new movie do the Swedish original film justice or does the remake get lost in translation?
