    The title says it all...
Loved this story...was really real with so much truthfulness and a great story that kept me listening till the end because I had to find out what happen next. Each character was well developed and revealed. You can tell the author is a christian but I like that he wasn't preachy and still shared GOD's message of love, grace and mercy. The narration was wonderful.
    With Friends Like Dior...
Would you consider the audio edition of Sinful to be better than the print version?
I don't know... I did not read the print.
What other book might you compare Sinful to and why?
There is actually nothing I could compare this book to. The main character is in a class of her own. It's like her life's mission is to try to destroy someone else's life in order for her's to be better.
Which character as performed by Shari Peele was your favorite?
The real estate agent... This lady kept her cool when most people would not have. She was classy and even when she could have showed out, she didn't. She was very respectful.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
    When Shundale destroyed the journal.
    Any additional comments?
The speaker did a great job in reading this story. The characters came alive for me. I would recommend anyone who listens to this audio to pick up Sinful Too... It will floor you.

    Five Stars
Robin Hatcher is a good author!
    Love Story
This is a good story about a couple who have some problems. Some they can work through, and some that might not be workable. You have to read it to see if their Christmas turns out to be a good one or if they go their different ways to find lives of their own. I enjoyed reading it...you will too.
    Wonderful Christmas surprise
Love the stories based on an area I love. Love the snow and miss home. The story is life played out. We all struggle with selfishness and sometimes it's nice to remember that God has brought us a long way but have so much more learning to do.
    A Good Christmas Choice
Every year I treat myself to a Christmas fiction. This year I chose A Carol for Christmas. I wasn't disappointed. Would definitely recommend it.
    Enjoyable Christmas story
This was a nice story to read around Christmas; a story that shows the importance of love and giving at the most appropriate time of the year for the lesson.

This is the second time that we have listened to Shattered Justice. Though we remembered a lot it still had a great impact. Karen Ball is a wonderful inspirational author and Stevie Ray Dallimore is a perfect performer. The story just pulls you in and you don't want it to stop listening.

    Another great book!
You can't beat James Scott Bell. this legal thriller will leave you with answers and questions about the inner workings of our government systems. Awesome book.
    Excellent story, almost achieves greatness
Very well written with a good story and increasing tension as the characters develop. It definitely held my interest, but
I have enjoyed other stories by James Scott Bell more. Some of the principal characters seemed too broadly drawn for
me. Overall, I liked it very much but I didn't get totally into it. I would recommend it to anyone who likes James Scott
    Bell's books.
    Decent read overall
I think this book started out really good. I liked the writing style and the character development. I think it fizzled though about 1/2-3/4 of the way through, and then wrapped up very quickly at the end. A decent read though overall.
    A Great Story
Deadlock is a well crafted legal thriller that is hard to put down.
It centers around Supreme Court Justice Milly Hollander who has some major life happenings including a near death experience that makes her examine her relationship with God. That leads to a major transformation of her legal philosophy.
This happens about the same time that she is nominated to be the Chief Justice by a liberal president. Her new views cause major consternation for the president and members of Congress who share his philosophy. They make it their mission to destroy her.
Along the way, the author weaves in a subplot of a young woman who has a major legal battle with the abortion industry.
Overall, the story was excellent. It addresses issues of concern to all and will make the readers think. There are two things that I did not like. One is a plot twist that I would have liked to have seen done differently. Although the way it was written led to a major surprise, I think it took away from some excitement that could have occurred later on had it been done differently.
The other criticism was this: One of the characters, Jack Holden, had written a legal brief exploring the big questions of life, God, etc. during his own spiritual searching. Holden shares it with the Justice. Mr. Bell only provided enough of the brief to whet the reader's appetite. I would like to see him expand on that. He could actually write a complete future novel based around that.
In spite of that, this is a great book with superb character development. I highly recommend it.
    So real and relevant
A story to grip your heart and questions to grip your mind - just one of which is, "What is truth?"

    Inspired
I was inspired with this book. I was entertained with adventure and reflective with the over all message. Good story and good narrator.
    entertaining
    i enjoyed the story
    The Hadassah Covenant
This book is a sequel to "One Night with the King" and I enjoyed it. I liked the book despite some flaws. Listeners should be aware that the book bounces between the past and the present. I also couldn't help noticing that the author uses the word "gaze" quite often. This did not detract for me and I felt that the book continued where "One Night" ended.
    The Hadassah Covenant
Fantastic book but listening on the computer simply does not work for me.

    A Different Kind Of Book
I love anything by Tracy Peterson, but this one
didn't seem to fit the mold of most. This is a family
story of two sisters who have wronged each other.
they are trying to sort out their grievances and
find forgiveness for each other. This is not your
typical love story, but a wonderful story with
Love, friendship, and God all together. I loved
The book and I'm sure you will as well!!
    The Prodigal Returns
What a wonderful story of love, unconditional love, anger, resentment, forgiveness and wasted years. A great lesson about family communication if you are really listening. I loved each of the characters...family and friends. Be ready to love with them and cry with them. It was beautiful to see Sunny come alive again in the newness of God and love of family. Thank you for the happy ending!!
    Forgiveness and Peace
The book captured your interest immediately. Faithfulness to family vs selfishness. During this conflict bitterness grows. Good to know that in Christ all things are possible. Love the way the book was written. Not dragged out. Went along to peace and happiness when we surrender to Christ and He gives us the strength to do what we thought was impossible.
    Great book for estranged sisters
Great book for estranged sisters, families dealing with end of life issues and those with both. Bought this for my sister to read.

Very goo story with very bad editing
Ms Oke is one of my favorite authors and I loved this story. My problem and why I marked it down was because of the editing of this e book. It was terrible. I hope the hard copies were not like this or I would have taken it back to get my money back. Chapter 3, page 35, 2nd sentence, "The birthday was to be celebrated on a Saturday after? noon, which didn't . . ." Chapter 3, page 39, As the last piece of birthday cake was served with home? made ice cream, Johnathan managed . . . Same paragraph - "Do you want to clean up before Mindy get her pres? ents?" This goes on 83 (counted and noted) more times and once more in the Epilogue! Words were constantly broken up by questions marks. This does not help in the flow of reading a book as after awhile you are looking for the mistakes instead of absorbing the story. I had hoped better of an Oke book. Does anyone read these before they are released to the public?
    Heartwarming story
In my opinion, I felt this was the best book in the series. A great but tearful ending. The character, Virginia, is truly a godly mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter and friend. Janette Oke can certainly evoke a variety of emotions in the reader of this series.
What I didn't enjoy in the Kindle version was the many question marks that were printed in the middle of words and the book title inserted in numerous sentences. It momentarily interrupted the flow and enjoyment of the story.
    I like Janette Oke's books
I like Janette Oke's books. I have a complaint about this one, not the story line or the characters. It is probably the proof reading. Quite often during the early part of the book, It seemed every time the name of Johnathan, would be interrupted ... John Like Gold Refined athan.
I don't know why the problem, but after seeing this several times, I skipped past it without to big of a deal, except maybe to go back and read so I could stay on track with the story line.

    a Call To Visit France
This was a sad but charming story of a woman who, as a college student abroad in France fell in love with a Frenchman. While in France she also met a business tycoon who pressed to marry her and she chose him. Fast forward nearly 30 years after her husband dies of cancer with an only daughter who cares little for her. She decides to go back to France and writes to her Jean Paul to arrange a Christmas Eve rendezvous. This was categorized a Christian book but I questioned the classification until towards the end of the book. So if you are looking for overtly Christian material this is not it. You will not be preached at by any means in this book. There are quite a few characters to discover in France as well as the daughter's fiancé that all told make the story an interesting read. Also, there are many descriptions given of places in France that make you want to arrange a tour for yourself.
    A charming story -
Can a lady of a certain age find love after discovering a letter from an old friend? Mary's conflict with her recent, very comfortable, life in Omaha with her now-deceased husband, and a smart but strong- willed daughter, leaves her empty and unfulfilled. She must decide if she will follow her heart or live the life she never chose but is expected of her. Striking out on her own and a little unsure of herself, Mary delves back into her past and leaves for Paris to live out a dream. There she finds not one, but two charming men with very different lives, but will she find what she is looking for? Meanwhile, her daughter Liz has to reconcile what is expected of her and what she really wants to do with her own life. Hooked me from the beginning with its Parisian setting and good character development. A charming story set in a beautiful place.
    Happily a great read!
I snagged this book when it was free and I am so glad I did! The journey is not a fast-paced one but it is steady and engaging. It's written in first person POV, which is not usually to my liking but I was kept intrigued by the plot. I enjoyed the myriad of characters and hearing their viewpoints of what was taking place. Each transition from one character to the next was smooth and clearly understood. Whitson has woven a beautifully complex story that is not yet complete but ends on a good note. I'm looking forward to purchasing the next book!
    Wow
I cannot describe the joy in my heart this book has given me....for it so closely parallels my own journey on the precious side of time. Thank you Stephanie for your beautiful story and the words....."you are never to old to find the person you might have been". Those words speak to my heart of hearts,,,,for After a lifetime of raising children and an educator, I am now living my dream as a full time traveling artist,,,and my heart sings prayers of praise and gratitude daily to our good Lord above!
An ageless story in a beautiful setting
This novel is well balanced between the emotional journey of healing oneself and the richness of having that experience set in Paris.
