    Format: Unabridged
Length: 7 hrs and 45 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 03-14-17
    Publisher: Rose and Star Press

    Publisher's Summary:
A warrior woman, a lonely artist, and a love story that's out of this world....
Mara, a painter, lives in a quirky artist community in downtown Buffalo, and though she loves her roommates like family, she has always felt alone. But, each night, a sexy, dark-haired woman haunts her dreams, dreams that almost help her forget the betrayal and pain she's suffered in her life. She paints to block out the bad memories, and in every painting, the woman from her dreams - as if by magic - appears.
One fateful night, Mara rescues a drowning person from the Buffalo River: a beautiful woman with a serious wound who claims to be a knight from another world. The woman's name is Charaxus, and - despite her outlandish story - she inspires longings in Mara that she has never felt before. As her attraction to Charaxus grows, Mara discovers that the mysterious, brooding knight is telling the truth - and that she is the woman Mara has been dreaming about for a lifetime. But someone dangerous and dark is hunting Charaxus, and is it Mara's fate to lose the woman of her dreams forever?
A Dark and Stormy Knight is a sexy, romantic novel about overcoming past heartaches and learning to believe in happy endings. This book is set in the same world as A Knight to Remember, Forever and a Knight, and Date Knight, but it is a stand-alone book. It is part of Bridget Essex's Knight Legends Series: women knights, real-world high-jinks, and love stories that transcend space and time.

    My heart!!
This made me hurt in such a good way. Charaxus and Mara are the epitome of soul mates and they fit so well together. I loved seeing the softer side of Charaxus, and how she became the "cold" person she's known to be by others. I actually like these two a little more than Holly and Verago, and I'd love to hear more of a conclusion between these two and where their relationship takes them. Btw Maria Marquis is amazing!!!
The most heart felt story I have ever heard!
The Story, the way it is written, and the emotion in the narrative touched me as few stories have in my many years of reading. It made me laugh and cry, sometimes at the same time and I am so thankful to have found this story. It will most definitely become one of my favorites.
    the best in the series
The story tugged at my heartstrings and the performance by Maria Marquis was simply riveting!
    Wow
One of the hottest love stories I have ever listened to. The writing is the best and the narration is awesome! Not being a writer I cannot adequately describe it except to say WOW! I truly love this book!
    Equally heart-wrenching and beautiful
The combination of the story which moved me on a personal level and the captivating narration (really, really well narrated for this story) was to me a masterpiece. I know, like music, everyone has individual taste in what moves them... but to me.. wow.. I enjoyed the previous books in this series but this one delves into the heart and soul. I was entranced.

This should have been the original story
So awesome! I just love this twist on Beauty and the Beast. The steaminess and the bit of thriller in the story make for such a wonderful story. I adore the ending. This should have been the original story!!!
Kale and Lisa did an awesome job narrating. I've listened to several male/female narrations, but this one is unique. I kinda liked how they did each chapter entirely on their own and made the voices for everyone in them. But at the same time I really prefer when the voices are intermingled in each chapter.
Not your typical Beauty and the Beast story
Not Exactly the story I was looking for, but I liked it. I felt a number of emotions through this story, and so long as I can pull 3 emotions, It's a GREAT story.

Isaac Morningstar III, or Zach to the few who know him, has hit rock bottom. Once an immortal, nearly-invincible dragon, he's been awakened only to have his powers and his treasure locked away until he can prove himself to be a trustworthy protector of humans. Since Zach has never liked humans, he's pretty sure he's going to end up back on ice. That is, until he meets sweet, curvy Erin, a human hairdresser who might just turn his world upside down.
Erin has a pretty routine life, but that ends when a tall, gorgeous man appears out of nowhere, claiming to be an ancient dragon with immeasurable power who wants her as his mate. She doesn't know whether to laugh or run for the hills. But when the mysterious stranger saves her life and needs her help she can't just turn away. Still, the closer she gets to Zach, the more she realizes there may just be something truly magical about him.
But as the forces around them close in, Zach is quickly realizing that the darkness lurking inside him may be greater than he anticipated. And the beast within may not be the only thing they have need to fear.
Warning: contains ferocious dragons, fearsome fights, fiery love scenes and a fiercely cute three-legged kitten that will steal your heart. The first in a brand new series with dragons unlike anything Terry has written!

Pretty good story and start to the series :D
    3.5-4 stars
This was a pretty good story. I liked Erin and Zach and enjoyed their story very much. This is the first story I've read by this author and I liked it well enough that I'll probably be trying more of her work in the future.
Erin is a hairstylist and the manager of a salon. She lives in a rather bad area of town and the salon gets robbed occasionally but Erin doesn't want to move because she has friends in the area. Erin is a kind-hearted person and goes out of her way to help others.
Zach is an ancient dragon born from an Onyx egg. The older dragons had more power than the newer version of dragons (see the author's "Dragons of New York" series) but they went to sleep centuries ago and then were put into a cryo sleep (all of which isn't completely explained but we get the general idea). Zach is waken from his sleep by an Oracle that has the power to control dragons. She worried that he wasn't friendly enough to humans so she collared him (preventing him from using his dragon powers) until he can prove that he'll be good to humans.
Once Zach is collared, he's sent to New York with no money and only the cloths on his back. He walks all day and ends up outside a hair salon. He sees a woman inside doing stuff to a man's hair and is curious. He walks in and sits in the waiting area so he can observe the humans but he's rather bedraggled from being out in the rain so the people in the salon think he's a homeless person. The woman he observed, Erin, came over to see if he needed help but Zach is a dragon and (not realizing he seemed like someone that needed to be pitied) takes a bit of offense at the idea that he'd need help. He does find himself drawn to Erin though and seeks a reason to be close to her.
Erin thinks that Zach is rather strange, seeming to be a cross between massively arrogant and crazy. She's not sure how to handle him but when trouble comes into the salon and Zach comes to her rescue, she knows she has to help him.

My morning started very eventful. A rendezvous with Adriel is more than a notion. He literally wore me out, but he also made me come to terms with a lot about myself I was still trying to deny. Truth is, I wanted Raphael - powerfully so. However, I wasn't so sure about how much of that was my own desires and what part the Agoto inside me was playing in my attraction. In reality, I don't think it mattered. On top of a complicated love life, I still have to stop a triumvirate of demons from opening a portal and letting an even bigger, more badass demon through into my world. Time was running out and I needed help if I have any hope of succeeding.
Warning: This serial contains strong adult content not meant for sensitive eyes. The novelettes in this serial will be filled with dark, twisted, raunchy and steamy scenes between powerful, sexy men that will either offend you or get you revved up. This series will not be pulling any punches, and it won't apologize for hurting your feelings, either. You'll find no fluff and ruffles here. These demons play hard and they fight dirty.

Kick ass Vamp and his FBI girl
Amazing, Fantastic, Awesome, Astounding and all other synonyms you can find online.
I couldn't help but to laugh every time Lucas was mad and had to curse with an accent. I know what is to yell, but things come out in your language and husband just stares and ignore. I think he was more human than vamp.
I liked the characters stories, background, how it all comes together. It is perfect for the Romance lover. I must say, go for the book! I had purchased the Audiobook and was like a child at Christmas when Bell Bridge Books posted on FB about the special. Since I got first in series, Raphael, my interest keeps growing.
    The Audible
Nick J. Russo is in my list of Favorite Narrators. He's one of those narrators who gives each character their voice. Clear, well paced, full of emotions. The man is fantastic interpreting male and female characters. A true voice actor. I say this, as I listened to it at work. Couldn't leave desk, couldn't pause. He enhances the audio experience. It's like listening to a show or movie. Except, no sound effects. All the emotions, the pauses, the fast action!! -He doesn't just "read". Nick J. Russo interprets each scene, each character enhancing the story. The evil, the joy, the anger, the pain, the excitement. Truly impressed on this audible, and Nick J. Russo.

    Great Series
This book was very entertaining a bit slow in places but definitely worth it. I loved Lucas character his loyalty, heart, and everything in between . I also love strong female characters and Katherine was a perfect example. I can't wait for the next book it sounds like it's going to be really good.

Well written, well performed. The story is good addition to the series. Only drawback is there is a glitch in chapter 12--this should be checked on.
    I love this series!

A cool morning, a yard full of birds, and a kitty on a mission. What more could a werecat want? Beta Heller Wirth has it all, except a mate - a shifter mate, that is. The last thing he wants is one of those dangerous humans who kill without remorse. Heller knows about that firsthand. So what does the goddess Bast do? She gives Heller exactly what he does not want - a human, business owner Lawson Dupre.
Lawson hasn't a clue what just happened in his car detail shop. One minute a cute client is about to pass out, and then he perks up and starts flirting. Next thing, he runs out the door like the hounds of hell are after him. Learning that Heller is a werecat doesn't freak out Lawson. He happens to be one of those rare humans who knows paranormals exist. He even lives with one. Watch the fur fly as Heller and Lawson battle hurt feelings, misguided beliefs, and a power shift in Heller's clowder.
    Members Reviews:
    Love, love, LOVED this!
We met Heller as the human-hating Beta in book one. He redeemed himself by saving Dolfs mate Kirk in the end, but boy we sure didnt get a good vibe from Heller at the beginning. He continues this vibe in book two by being vain and then shunning his mate for being human right off the bat. We know he has some hidden depths he hints at a tortured past involving human misdeeds but we dont know for sure whats happened.
Then we meet the mate Lawson. Lawson is a human whos been living with a paranormal family for the last decade. So hes not too freaked out by the whole shifts into a cat thing. But he is very hurt by the rejection he feels from Heller, especially when he learns they are mates.
It takes a bit of time and talking, but eventually our mates get together. There is some serious drama still going on in their lives, however. There is a werewolf stalking Lawson and that pushes him into Hellers arms and house in a big way.
We get a lovely HEA for our guys and a look into the next book as two others meet their mates.
    **
MA Churchs writing is funny and fluid and very creative. Her shifters are animals and humans (which I love!) and so there is lots of purring, mewling, growling and even trilling in this book blurring the lines between cat and human.
Heller was tough to love at first but he quickly redeems himself and there isnt a lot of time stuck in the land of big misunderstanding. Our guys talk and clear the air. Most of the drama isnt about their mating in the second half of the book but instead surrounds the evil werewolf.
Church introduces some new paranormals Vetalas. These guys are cool! Im really excited about learning more about them in the coming books.
I also like that we got to see a bit of our guys from book one again thats always nice. Its definitely a stand-alone, you could understand everything without having read book one, but it gives the story a little more depth.
I highly recommend this book to fans of shifter romances!
    Audio
Im so pleased with the narrator change! Sometimes a series NEEDS the same narrator for the entire collection, however, I was pleased to see that we get Derrick this time and hes SO GOOD! He gives enough distinction to the characters that we know who is speaking and I particularly liked Marshells accent (I hope he does the next book in the series!).

    Interesting World
This paranormal romance is a short novella that begins the story of a young human and a centuries old demon who fall in love. Kara is 15 years old and dreams her father has returned, only to wake and find out it's true, but he's been possessed by a demon that only she can see. Elionist is shocked to find a human who can see his true form and is drawn to her, and he begins to protect her. He takes the form of a teenage boy to get closer to her. Trouble begins as the other demons and the devil himself discovers Elionist's obsession and threaten to kill Kara.
The love story itself, well, it's a bit like Twilight, isn't it? Even Elionist saving Kara from a car crash is similar. That aside, I really like the concept of the demons and find the world itself really intriguing. If the story was fleshed out and the world built on I'd definitely check out more of the series.
The narrator was smooth and her character voices didn't detract from the story. This book was gifted to me from the author, publisher, or narrator in exchange for an honest review.

Whoa, whoa, WHOA. Hey man, I wasn't finished listening to this yet!
Interesting premise, and the main demon character seems like he could be quite entertaining. Wasn't really enough to find out for sure, but definitely enough to have me wanting the next!
Narration was fine, though the deep, threatening voice that was meant to frighten mortals could've used another person. Not her fault, just needed a deep voiced guy lol. Everything else was fine except for saying "ion" where I assume the word was "eon". Nice pace, nice voice.

    Need more
This short story will not quench your thirst but will leave you wanting more.
I received this free for an honest review from the author or narrator.
Not enough story to even pass judgment.
This audiobook was only 25 mins long and categorized as Fantasy Romance. In the short 25 minutes of listening, I got barely an inkling of any romance out of it, and really not much to go off of. Obviously it was an incomplete story, but even as a short story, I felt like so much more needed to be included - such as a plot? Sorry to leave a negative review here; I felt like there is potential but I was given only a partial piece to go on. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
    Too short
This audiobook had a very interesting premise, but it was too short to build the world and background or to develop the story.sufficiently. It felt like a sample of a couple chapters of a novel. The story was not complete and I felt a little cheated. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. If I had paid for it, I would have been mad and would have wanted my money back. I liked what was there, but there wasn't enough for this to be sold as a stand-alone story.

But when it comes to the simple matter of talking to Mik, or "Violin Boy", her courage deserts her. Now, enough is enough. Zuzana is determined to meet him, and she has a fistful of magic and a plan. It's a wonderfully elaborate treasure hunt of a plan that will take Mik all over Prague on a cold winter's night before finally leading him to the treasure: herself!

    Zuzana and Mik's First Date
Where does Night of Cake & Puppets rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
In the top 25 audiobooks that I've listened to. The musical accompaniment was a perfect mood setter/enhancer.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Night of Cake & Puppets?
I love how they met and all these things they did for each other to eventually end up in a boat, drinking tea and eating chocolate cake.
    Which scene was your favorite?
When Zu was the one who put herself out there by placing a map in Mik's violin case, it was her way of asking him out/finding out if he liked her too.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would have but almost three hours was a bit longer than I wanted to listen straight thru. I broke it down into two parts.
    Any additional comments?
Loved the atmospheric charm combination of the authors' words and the wonderful audio track. The characters' voices and accents were great and the music was a perfect accompaniment.
    Magical
It took a small bit to get started but by the end, my heart ached as though I were the one being spoken of. Just wonderful.
    One of my favorite stories.
Would you consider the audio edition of Night of Cake & Puppets to be better than the print version?
This is one of my favorite stories and I love Lani. This version with the soundtrack and voice narration was better than reading the book myself the first time.
    I laughed! I cried! I loved it!
What did you love best about Night of Cake & Puppets?
it's romantic AND funny! hit me in the heart and the funny bone. The music really helped with the emotion.
Which character as performed by Khristine Hvam and Kevin T. Collins was your favorite?
    Karou cracks me up!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Tedious listen
I enjoyed the first two books but not this one. The same angsty internal argument over and over and over again and the feast that they endlessly prepare for in excruciating detail that never seems to arrive. The only way I could finish this book was speeding it up to 2X. The conclusion was good so if you get bored just skip to the very end.
    Baking and the Beast
This book, more than anything, made me want all of the fresh baked bread they kept talking about. A solid listen, and my criticisms may be just my personal preferences.
    Story:
I enjoyed this series for the most part as a fresh take on a familiar, beloved story. The third book doesn't feel quite as strong as the first two, although it's still good. It felt unnecessary that it's the longest of the three, with a fair amount of re-hashing of ground covered in the first two books. While the sense of the world is strong, we spend a lot of time focusing on preparations for the party without it always seeming to contribute to the plot or character development. While Benella's reluctance based on her trauma felt extremely valid, it felt to me as though that gets overshadowed by the far less believable, less mature, and less compelling notion of whether he likes her....or "likes her likes her". Still, the writing is strong, even when it veers a little angst-y, and kept me engaged wondering how things were going to develop.
    Performance:
Another strong performance from Sierra Kline, particularly with the introduction of essentially an entirely new cast of characters for this final installment. I loved the voicing of Egrit. She provided a much needed fun, light-hearted break from some of the heavier sections.
I didn't want it to end
I mean, did it have to end? I feel like it could have been on-going. Okay, but honestly this series was AMAZING!!!! From beginning to end. I was thoroughly satisfied with this. Thank you M.J. HAA!
    wonderful tale

With no answers and a weapon of mass destruction slung around his neck, Gage Crosse is left with little choice but to travel with Joey Mosely to New York, seeking aid from the Order Council itself. Little do they know that they are about to embark on what may be the greatest adventure of their lives: to find the mysterious Seal of Solomon.
Meanwhile, the fragile threads holding the demon army and its monstrous allies together are unraveling. Keli must act quickly to maintain her position as ruler, or else have all their efforts fall into the ruin.
Can the Journeymen keep the Seal of Solomon out of demon hands, or will the Noctis succeed in wrenching all three artifacts from their control?
Warning: This book is for mature listeners only. Not for children. It contains adult themes, violence, coarse language, sexual situations, nudity, and paranormal themes.

Once again Golden brings all the feels as the journey men fight to maintain balance.what will happen next is anyone's guess but one thing remains Love. Love of friends, family and perhaps something more. Find out for yourself what lies ahead with the amazing journey.
    cant you get any better?!
Would you listen to Seal of Solomon again? Why?
I most likely will. Golden Czermak writes a crazy amazing story, and Wen Ross's voice work shoots it outta this world. How can you not want to re-listen to something that great?
What other book might you compare Seal of Solomon to and why?
I maintain that this series is very much like Buffy & Supernatural...while not books, both tv series, as well as this book series, have a serious aspect, dusted with humor, dusted with romance that all take place around paranormal activity.
What does Wen Ross bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
Wen Ross brings the characters to life. I read Book One, then listened to it. I then bought Book Two when it was released, and Wen Ross's voices for the characters kept popping in my brain. The characters are so lively on a written page already, but to hear personality and different voices that match their activity and personality....and for them to be all so varied, is crazy amazing. Also, he is a man that also voices female characters. He is able to do so without it sounding hokey. Sometimes when opposite genders voice the other gender, it ruins an audiobook for me, because it comes off more annoying than good. You dont have to worry about that with Wen Ross.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
"I would avoid that pancake mixxx if I were you." :p
"Just when you think all is well...It isn't even close."
    Any additional comments?
I need a time machine so that I can jump into the future and not have to wait for the next installment to come out. :p
    5 Seal of Solomon Stars
I was going to wait for book 3 to be out on audio to start this but . I COULDN'T WAIT So glad I didn't WOW it was everything I hoped for and so, so much more.
Seal of Solomon continues where Homeward Bound ended so you feel like you just had a pause between books which I love in a series.
I cant put in to words exactly what I am feeling. Even taking notesI didn't see somethings coming thats for sure but in good ways. Gage didn't seem like himself in the beginning and thats to be expected with losing Ady the way he did.
