I loved this book. It is well written with well developed characters. I loved the fact that it was set at Lake Tahoe. Having lived near Lake Tahoe for about 6 years, made the scenery come alive for me. I look forward to reading more from this author as well as listening to more from Rachel.

I've read all three books in the series and listened to all of them. I enjoyed them all best as Audible books and I liked this last book the best. This is a series to be listened to with total enjoyment.

Great Book!

What did you love best about Love Again?

I loved the story (I've read it multiple times), but I really enjoyed listening to it for the first time, and sharing one of my favorite books with my husband during car rides. Hes not a huge reader but now he can listen to my books :)

Slow Beginning Rushed Ending Average Book

Is there anything you would change about this book?

A sweet, Christian centered romance.

The pace of this book was a little bit sketchy. The story dragged very slowly and then it seems the last two chapters quickly addressed all the unanswered questions it felt rushed.

If you grew up in an evangelical church in a tiny to medium sized town you will notice familiarities. If you haven't had that experience this book gives a nice peek into the life of someone who has grown up in the faith.

Perhaps if this book were longer the author could have elaborated at a more even pace. I wanted to know the characters with more depth.

Jay Prichard has become one of my favorite narrators. I don't know if I have anymore new positive words to describe his performances. It is always professional, believable and smooth. He's able to to perform the male and female characters in a manner that does not sound like "dude" in a higher range. He is a brave and confident artist - as in this book he sings as the female character with no music!

I would not use it a credit as it is only an hour and a half long. I would not purchase it either because of the length.

An Old Love

A very good story about relationships, love and worried parents. What would you do if your parents, along with the parents of a young man you didn't care for, decided the two of you should marry? This is a good story of how that problem got solved and true love happened.

I just recently found Hannah Schrock's books and I must say they are great to read and well written. If you haven't, please try them.

Enjoyable

This was a surprisingly refreshing book. I enjoyed it very much. The slight rebellion of Joanna. How at first seemed as if Sampson and Eli were both the wrong man. Even bad. But they both ended up being nice men I recommend this book

"Amish or not?"

Super read about the Amish, and one deciding to carry on as Amish! This was especially nice, because it was a full novel, not simply a sneak peak or snippet portion to get you to purchase more! Would recommend highly!!!

Entertaining short story

Quick read and fairly predictable. Enjoyed reading this love story and will read more books by Hannah Schlock. Recommend reading.

Wonderful storyline in this sweet Romance

This sweet Christian romance novel was really a great book to read. There really was a lot of depth to both characters and I enjoyed watching their hearts grow together. The hero in the story is such a great example of a true man. The whole story was very romantic. I'll be honest that the description of the book didn't appeal to me that much although I liked the cover. I'm glad I gave this book a try. There are some great Christian elements in this book however I believe anyone could enjoy it regardless of their faith. Happy reading!

Another great installment in The Year of Weddings Novella series

I look forward to these little novellas every month. They are fun and quick reads as well as great introductions to authors I may not have read before (or stories from some of my favorite authors). Cheryl Wyatt is a new author for me.

Meadow Larson's catering business is in jeapordy when a snow storm causes the roof over her kitchen to cave in. Her new neighbor across the street just happens to have experience with renovations. He also has experience, and not in a good way, with Meadow. Colin McGrath regrets the person he was in high school. The person who was willing to put his social status above caring for someone who needed love from others. As the two are brought together, Colin is on a mission to gain Meadow's trust and make amends for what he and his friends had done to her in high school. His feelings quickly move beyond friendship as he learns what an amazing and loving woman Meadow has grown into. Will she ever trust him enough to give him her heart?

This was a fun story as the two characters spend a lot of time together. The cooking and construction analogies were cut at first but there were so many of them throughout, it started to grate a little by the end. But no so much that it detracted from the main elements of the story--forgiveness, letting go of the past, and trusting God to build a future beyond your own dreams.

A TRULY WONDERFUL BOOK

I loved EVERYTHING about this book. It's full of lessons learned in life, faith, forgiveness and how the Lord can and will heal everything that we take to him.

This story is a reminder of so many people in my life, but sadly mostly of my sorry, sinful self. Thankfully there is nothing so horrible anyone has ever done that God won't reach down and forgive us! Once we repent, God will change our hearts and will continue to make us more like Jesus. In striving to be more like Jesus, we should remember what God has done for us, and so keep praying for redemption for our lost loved ones. Praise God for this author and narrator for portraying God's mercy, grace, and agape love!

This story really shows how hard life was during this point in our nation's history. The only way to survive the horrible hardships was to have faith in God. I appreciated the many encouraging Bible passages in this story :-)
