Sometimes a sacrifice is the purest form of love.
Rhea Daniels is a survivor. Just released from prison for the murder of her pedophile father, she is trying to put the past behind her and build a new life. When Rhea goes to work for Morgan Scott, an ex-priest with a big heart and a damaged soul, Rhea is challenged to face her wildest dreams and worst nightmares.
And Morgan isn't without challenges of her own. When a man with a grudge comes to claim his revenge, she learns that, sometimes, there is no clear line between right and wrong. And sometimes redemption is about being willing to take a stand.

Good Story, Tough Topics, Small Towns
The story was well written. The characters were well drawn. The environment and scenes were visible in my mind's eye.
Intense scenes were appropriately tense. The cadence was mostly good. The main characters personalities and voices were absolutely drawn for us through the narrators understanding of their well-crafted descriptions from the author's work.
Unfortunately, the narrator has a tendency to be limited in tone. At the same time, the quiet or sensual seemed to elude her; too loud and/or high-pitched when she should be quiet, tender, or sensual. I like her voice, but, too-high-expectations can be blamed on the narrators who are also actors. There's no visual queues, so we rely on the actors to set the tone. Find the sexy in you so that you bring us in the moment and not just reading words on a page. It is a good start to a future in entertainment.
    Great Audio.
I really enjoyed Love's Redemption. It is a story of love and redemption. One thing really bothered me. Rhea's parole officer, also Morgan's sister, allowed Rhea to go out into the corridor of a hospital to be questioned by police. Hello! Could someone please go with her! Accompany Rhea. This really bothered me. Also at the end the lack of medical care for Rhea.
I was mislead about the book
This book wasnt for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I don't know who would enjoy this
What was most disappointing about Donna K. Fords story?
    I couldn't even finish it.
Would you be willing to try another one of Paige McKinneys performances?
No, she reads too fast and has no feeling for the story.
You didnt love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
It seemed to have a good story line but was not going anywhere.

    Suspense to the Max.
This second book of the "Giving Series" picks up exactly where book one ends. If you think you are going to get a respite from the mystery and suspense in this book then think again. You feel as if you are blind folded on the tallest roller coaster with unending twists and turns. Honestly, after I finished this book, I went and bought the Kindle edition of book three because I couldn't stand the torture. Lol. And now, after finishing book 3 I can now say that all the torture was worth it.
I can't say enough about the narration of Tracy Marks. She truly makes these books come alive. This book also included the narration of Thomas Donohoe for Adams POV. Although he did a great job, because he wasn't included in book one, I already had a different voice for Adam in my "Minds Ear". So he didn't sound like my Adam. Lol
Note: This book has explicit sex and very strong language. Adults only. I would also like to say that I think this series was good enough on its own and truly didn't need all the sex or strong language. It would have been just as good.
This audio book was given to me at no cost in exchange for my unbiased review.
Huge Cliffhanger But a Very Enjoyable Rollercoaster Ride!
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a Rollercoaster ride, lots of ups and downs. I could not wait for the next audiobook to come out so I got the Kindle version.
There is suspense, drama, and romance. So many misunderstanding between Adam and Mia. He drove me nuts in this book. Very frustrating behavior but it was so worth it! Book 3 sorts everything out! Looking forward to the audio version soon!
The narrator did a great job bringing the story to live! The story is told in dual POV my favorite! I love knowing what both main characters are thinking and where they are coming from!
Thanks for writing an amazing story! I throughly enjoyed every minute of it!
**This audiobook was provided free of charge in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion**
    Oh Mia.
This book picks up right where the last left off and we are once again placed in Mia and Adam's world.
While I was head over heels in love with book 1, I was left a little frustrated with this book. 65% of it is misunderstandings and Mia and Adam not saying what they are thinking, therefore everything is taken the wrong way and more misunderstandings occurred. I wish there would have been more of the mystery and drama with the crime family Adam was involved with, just a little more meat.
That being said, LM Carr is a fantastic author who has made me a believer and I will listen or read whatever she writes about Adam and Mia because I am so addicted to these characters. Mia is a strong female who has been hurt in ways that has shaped her into a very guarded person, so it is no wonder that she doesn't trust Adam with the truth. And Adam has his head so far up his rear, he is going to need Mia to hold his hand through a relationship.

    Publisher's Summary:
After witnessing an endless string of late nights, long tours, and eager groupies her world-famous father could never resist, Chelsey Young knows the dirty truth behind the glamorous façade of the rock-star life. Which is exactly why she takes hot-as-hell guitarist Kye Burke to bed when he decides he wants her.
One night. That's how rock stars roll - unless your name is Kye Burke. The quietest of all his brothers, Kye's style has never really been pumping and dumping, so pursuing Chelsey isn't a hard choice for him. The hard part is keeping hold of the girl who's hotter than the Sahara one minute then so cold even Antarctica wouldn't touch her the next. The fact that he's about to leave for LA to record the newest Dirty B album doesn't work in his favor, either.
A long-distance relationship is the reason Chelsey's parents divorced, and she's sworn them off completely. But Kye didn't get where he is by giving up, and even if it's the fight of his life, there's no way he's giving Chelsey up.
    Contains mature themes.

The best Burke Brother was saved for last!
I believe Emma Hart saved the best Burke brother for the last! Kye Burke is completely different from his brothers and I couldn't help but fall in love with him.
Kye is the more level headed, sweet, and thoughtful of the Burke brothers, he's seen each and every one of his brothers fall hard for their girls and he never expected it to happen to him. When Chelsey and him hook up one night, he can't get her out of his head, and pursues her relentlessly. Chelsey on the other hand, doesn't want to be chased by a rock star, she wants to be left alone and not deal with the pain that is caused by having someone like Kye in her life. Kye realizes quickly that he needs to make Chelsey his, but it's not an easy task. Chelsey has been hurt by her father (also a rock-star) and the wounds of what she's gone through run deep. With Kye determined to break down those walls and get her to let him in things definitely get interesting.
I loved the bickering back and forth between Kye and Chelsey. Kye is cocky, hilarious, and a bit of an ass at times (but only with good intentions). Chelsey is guarded, scared, and sometimes a little bitchy. Together they are full of fire! Watching Chelsey continue to push Kye away got a bit annoying at times, but I don't think things would have ended up the way they did for them if she would have let him in at first. Kye proved over and over again how much he cares for her and what he's willing to do to keep her in his life, and yet at times it feels as if he will never get through to her.
The back and forth in this story is crazy, and full of angst. I couldn't put this book down from the minute I picked it up till I reached "The End". I had to know if Kye would finally get the girl, and if Chelsey would finally let Kye in 100%. Not only are they hilarious together, but their chemistry is hot from the very beginning of this book all the way to the end. Emma Hart did an amazing job of making their scenes steamy, but not over the top. This book was perfectly balanced with just enough angst, sexiness, and laugh out loud moments.
Not only do we get Kye and Chelsey's story, but we also get to see how Conner, Tate, Aiden, Sophia, Jessie, Ella, Leiah, and Mila are doing as well.

The First Romance Novel I've Finished
Romance novels are one of my least favorite genres; only because, I've tried to read them in the past, and became bored with them. I would lay them aside, not even halfway in, regretting only that I could not finish what I'd started.
I took a chance on this book, as it was being offered for free. I was very, very skeptical. I had a bit of a slow start, but, that pace sped up quickly. I read large chunks at a time. The best thing for me, is that I became an onlooker, as it were, away from reality, watching a play. The story is wonderful. The only negativity that I experienced while reading this book was that the typos brought me out of the story to remind me that I was reading a book; and, then, I would have to make my way back to the intimacy from which I had been plucked.
If you like romance novels, try this one. I think what made it stand out, from my previous attempts at reading this genre, is the story itself. I envisioned the main character to be the author--sensitive, creative, romantic. The story, to me, is of a boy/man longing for a "one true love," versus, longing for a sexual conquest.
I wanted to give five stars for the story; yet, I only give four, due to the typo interruptions.
    Beautiful just beautiful!
What a wonderful love story! It makes you fall in love over and over again. I've never seen such love that Hadriel has for Sophia, that even in his deathbed the memory of Sophia is so vivid. This book will take you to a wonderful journey of a one sided love, a young boy who fell in love with her bestfriend and the only girl who stole his heart and ran away with it. He grew old loving her and wondering if she has ever loved him in return. Beautiful just beautiful!
A heartfelt love story of love and friendship through a lifetime
A heartfelt love story of love and friendship through a lifetime. It is nicely paced and it is not easily predictable like other love stories. I loved how the beginning and ending tied into one another bringing the tale full circle and the characters closure. Very enjoyable.
    Great romance novel!
I love a good romance and this story definitely fed my hunger! So extremely well written, I could not put it down! Definitely a must read!
Loved every second of this book
Loved every second of this book. The author truly has a way with words. I would recommend it to all of my friends.

I would have given the book 5 stars because I enjoyed how unique the story was, but the 3rd car accident was just too much. made the book seem almost melodramatic and over the top.

    Great story -awful reader
I read the book first and loved it. I decided to get the Audible version so I could do a re-read. I did not enjoy listening to the reader. She was very digital sounding , almost monotone. She read the story so quickly and emotionlessly. I could not get through the first chapter as the reader completely ruined the experience of such a wonderful story.

A super-sexy sequel to Wardham #1, What Once Was Perfect
They keep meaning to say I do....
Laney and Kyle lost each other once. Now they've found a way back together, and nothing will break them apart. But real life - two busy careers, nosy family members, and very different priorities for their oft-discussed yet still hypothetical wedding - keeps them from formalizing the forever they promised each other more than a year ago.
A business trip for Kyle and a last-minute rearranging of Laney's schedule provides the perfect fantasy escape to re-focus on what really matters.
Warning: This book starts with a blow job and just gets dirtier from there. Because who ever said that filthy sex and sweet wedding vows weren't compatible?
    Members Reviews:
    Nice read...
Too short. Predictable at times. If you read Laney and Kyle story then you know it was an epic love story. A love that had extra angst and drama but then matured. So you wanted the wedding bells to be more no matter the size. I just wanted a bit more.
    Too short
I realize it was supposed to be short but it was way too short...it was cute. I just didnt expext half of the book would be a preview of another book. I would have liked to see Kyle's reaction to Laney's news...and I really hoped she'd end up pregnant. I hope there is another book for them.
    Great ending to first book
Read "What was once Perfect" and now this. Both are great and I recommend them to romance fans.
I really liked both characters. They were well developed and the story flowed well. Not what I'd call as page turner but keeps your attention.
In the first book Laney and Kyle moved in together but when this book starts it has been a year and they haven't gotten married and it tells us how they take care of that problem.
These are the only books I've read by Zoe York and I as m not familiar with her history as a writer. I a m going to research her now and I hope she has written a number of books of this quality.
Thank you Ms.. York. I read approximately 5 books per week (often more) and I had just about given up on the romance genre. You have given that back to me.
Prefect No Matter What: Book 6
You are invited to the wedding of Kyle and Laney. Kyle and Laney are in Vegas and are planing to getting marry. Another surprise is waiting for you. Great short read.
    Love
I love Laney and Kyle. They were my first book to read by Zoe York. Their love is sweet and Hot! Great way to finish their story

    Great feel good Scottish romance!
I cannot recommend this book enough! I finished listening to the Audible audiobook today and it is a great feel-good, slow to come together, romance. There are countless laugh out loud moments and you can't help but be drawn to the characters of the quaint Scottish little town. Patience Griffin just can't write them fast enough for my tastes. Bravo!
    Enchanting
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were exciting, the story had everything in a very sweet fun, heartfelt and homey time.
May be #5 but love it like the 1st
A wonderful story of a Hot Scot and a quilter with bad Kidneys. Handled the illness and grief over losing her Grandmother beautifully. I was pulled in to the story with laughter and tears. Also Loved the wedding traditions for a Gandigow wedding. This may be #5 but this series is still going strong. Well done Patience Griffen.
Wrong Steam Meter setting - it's only simmering
Tons of dialogue and cranky people in a quaint fishing village. Whiney Sadie meets handsome Ross, I don't see the attraction.
Two short sex scenes in the final 2 hours.
Nothing spectacular. Just a story about a bunch of crabby people. Meh.
    Don't miss out
It's easy to fall in love with every character in this little Scottish village. This book will leave you wanting to go to the quilting retreat even if you don't sew.
