Someone is stalking webcam models.
He lurks in the untouchable recesses of the black web.
He's watching you. Right now.
When watching is no longer enough, he comes calling.
He's the last thing you'll ever see before the blood gets in your eyes.
Chicago homicide detective Tom Mankowski (The List, Haunted House) is no stranger to homicidal maniacs. But this one is the worst he's ever chased, with an agenda that will make even the most die-hard horror listeners turn on all their lights and switch off all Internet, Wi-Fi, computers, and electronic devices.
Jack Kilborn reaches down into the depths of depravity and drags the terror novel kicking and cyber screaming into the 21st century.

Somebody's Watching Me
HORRIPILATION
This is the second book I have read in as many weeks, which show the horrors that can be done with modern Technology. As in Endurance, Afraid and Trapped the horror is extreme, but unlike these books, we get a good look at the characters in this one. In parts this is a police procedural and the characters are fleshed out much better than any other Konrath I have read. I particularly liked the main character who is a detective with a bad credit rating. His girlfriend is not real understanding of the time he must spend at his job, and they have decisions to make about their relationship and their careers.
THE CHOICES YOU MAKE, NOT THE CONDITIONS YOU WERE BORN WITH
There are actually some deep thoughtful situations discussed, including Intersex. Konrath also gets a little political about drugs and law enforcement.
REMOVE THE COCK, REMOVE THE SIN
Like most books by Konrath, this is full of sex. This one is especially brutal, including the mutilation of male and female genitals. I found some of this hard to stomach and it may be too much for some readers.
I really liked the narrator.
the narrator's voice was absolutely horrible.
the narrator's voice was absolutely horrible. I couldn't even make myself listen past the first chapter, and the voices that he did were absolutely pathetic. His attempt at speaking like a woman was just embarrassing, and honestly, an insult. I will never get to know how great this story might have been because of this narrator.
