AWESOME!!

This book I tell you was AWESOME!!! This was, but will not be my last listen to Karen Rose. I could not stop. I went as far as to download it to my Ipod and my work computer. I highly recommend this book.

Great Book!! Need more Karen Rose on Audible.

A little too choppy for me...

I liked the overall story, but I found the way it was constantly divided by dates and times a little too distracting for audio. Aside from that, the author did a good job with character development and storyline. It just might translate a little better in hard copy.

Good book, but...

The book itself has been wonderful. I'm a Brenda Novak fan. My only "complaint" is that the editing is a little odd. You'll be listening along, the chapter will end and at about the same time the last word of the chapter is spoken the number of the next chapter is said...almost simultaneously. It's weird. Other than that, I'd recommend the book!!

loved it but a little disappointed..

Although i love the book, I was a little disappointed in the lack of romance between the hero and the heroine..I think it could've been a little more developed.

This book surprised me. It started off very slow and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get into it. But after listening to several chapters the plot really picked up and before i knew it, i was hook line and sinker! Ut made for a good mystery with a little splash of romance. would definitely recommend

Narration edit is frustrating

The story is good and kept me entertained but the narration edit was frustrating because it cut off the last sentence before each new chapter.

Elementary school narration

This audiobook may have been less torture if the narrator would have read to an adult audience. It was so so slow. She may do better reading to young elementary school children. Her characterization was annoying... I do not recommend this audiobook.

I have listened to her book previous to buying it, I love how she writes. I fell in love with the Plum series and decided to give her other books a try.

Great book!

I have read all of the Stephanie Plum series and they are very good books. This is the first time I have read a different story by Janet. The characters Max-a-Million Holt and Jamie Swift are quite the couple. Although this story was not as funny as the Stephanie Plum stories, it is a very good story. There are parts that are very funny in the story. I hope that Janet will publish more books in this series. There are six currently: Full Scoop, Full tilt, Full blast, Full house, Full Speed, and Full Bloom. I have read all six books. The only difference I noticed is that Max is a character in all six books. Jamie and Vera are characters in five of the books. Otherwise there are different characters in each book.

What a disapointment!

What a disapointment! Her audio books are my favorites for long trips, but this book co-written with Charlotte Hughes was such a bore! It had none of Janet's funny situations that made me laugh when visualizing them. She normally has a fast paced story line, and a quick wit. This had neither. I hope she does not repeat this co-author venture. This endevor just diluted her style and sense of humor. I hesitated to give it one star rating.

Funny and Light

I enjoyed this book and the others in the series. I found myself chuckling while driving to work in the morning. Great way to start my day.

Narration was done well, but the female characters were overly dramatized making them sound weak instead of the strong women Susan wrote them to be. I read the 4 other books of Susan May Warren with some of the same characters and loved them. This one was hard to get through.

Love Narration-not so fond of plot

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Any book narrated by Sebastian York is time isn't a waste of time lol. However, I was a little disapointed by the story line. I would have loved to read about Tanen (I think that's how it's spelled) and Tia's story. Not sure why this would be focused on Ranger. Also, not sure if the author forgot the names of the children lol. The epilogues are usually years later and don't know if anyone else has noticed Ana's epilogue mentions her daughter being named after Lana. Then Bailey's other daughter, and even Sheyla's have a different name on this book. It's as if the author lost track of the names and stories. Also, when did Faye get kidnapped? No mention as to how many years had passed by since Vinny's daughter was born, so it's kinda hard to keep up with the story.

What does Sebastian York and Eva Christensen bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

Sebastian York brings tremendous value to any book he narrates because he keeps most readers engaged (also Zachary Webber!) . I've listened to books with poor narrators and I can't even finish listening to it so he definitely brings value to the series. I was glad to see he had more parts in this book.

Any additional comments?

I would suggest this being the last book in the series. While I loved the Wind Dragon's characters, I feel like another book would be distant from those main characters. She has great talent as an author, I would love to read a new series even if they do a quick mention of this one. Extending to these books would be overkill

wild ride with Ranger

I was thinking while listening to the audiobook that there are time gaps between the books in the series, then did a search and there are a few shorts in between in ebook format, so I will have to get those. Good thing I read too and I am not exclusive to audiobooks like so many of my friends.

It didn't take away from the story though, it is a standalone, but I would recommend you start at the beginning.

What a ride! Loved the changes that happened in the Club, and that Ranger got his story too.

Emotionally wrenching...FANTASTIC writing!!

I LOVED this book! What a beautiful, tragic, moving story. Marie Force truly knows how to play on your emotions, taking you to the lowest low and bringing you back to pinnacle. This is a love story with a HUGE whodunnit, but it also covers the impact that the wreck (the tradgedy that spurns the whodunnit) has on not just hero/heroine, but the community, the families of those involved...but in such a great way you're contstantly immersed in the story. I didn't want to turn this one for a second, I just wanted the story keep going. The narration was fabulous!!

Nothing about this wasn't a WIN!!

Incredible romantic suspense!

This book, in true Marie Force style has a little of everything..romance, suspense, sadness, angst, and hot sex. Going from high school to their thirties, we were able to see Brian and Holly deal with the death of their best friends in completely different ways. The frustration that was felt by both was evident throughout and when they finally came back together, even when in danger, you let loose a huge sigh of relief. The plot twists in this book kept me completely surprised, and the ending was a complete shocker!

Holly Fielding as always gave an incredible performance in the audio version.

Great thriller & mystery

Couldn't stop listening. Every time I though I knew who it was, I'd change my mind by the next chapter. Loved it. I could swear the narrator was a man and a woman.

Not plausible to me

While the Wreck was well written and some of the characters were interesting, the main plot just didn't seem plausible to me. Someone who is traumatized by witnessing a violent event does not "snap out of it" 15 years later, and suddenly act and feel normal. People can & do recover from many difficult experiences but usually it's a gradual process the involves counseling and setbacks. This story had potential but .....

Marie force never disappoints..... Such a great book. Love Carly and her determination to be the strong women she became.

Lori Foster is one of my most favorite Authors. I buy all her books as you always get an Action packed Hot and Sexy listen. This series (Love Undercover) is Lori at her best. I LOVE all her characters and especially all the Alpha Men. No spoilers but you've read this series youll be happy to know that all previous characters are involved herein. This is yet another reason I tend to enjoy Ms. Fosters series, she has a wonderful way of including previous couples. While still secondary - they flow easily throughout the story, important but supportive and not taking any focus away from the main couple. In this one, we get the bonus of an introduction to a spin-off series coming soon which will take the character of Cannon - a young MMA style fighter who is one of those secondary characters I mentioned thats already made a big impression on me. I always knew Cannon would get a story but shes commingled characters from her beloved SBC Fighters series here

This story has it all and keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's also full of Lori's wonderfully described Sex/Love scenes. Always a big plus when listening to the great Lori Foster... Once again Jim Frangione out one him-self and delivered a perfect narration. BIG Smiles all round here. :)

Read It File It Review: Dash of Peril by Lori Foster was not my favorite in the series but seeing all my favorite characters made me smile! This was a tough review for me to write because most of this series has been spectacular for me (Rowdy's book was a rare 5 for me) but I just never connected with the love story between Dash and Margo. That happens occasionally. The writing was great (as always) and I am really looking forward to the spin-off with Cannon!

Jim Frangione did a great job with Dash of Peril by Lori Foster. He had just the right amount of attitude for both of the lead characters. I think I enjoyed the book a bit more because of his narration.

Liked it But............

Way Way tooooo much sex, I got so sice of the Nipple sucking and the two finger and thumb job, to enjoy the plot.....80% of the book was sex......and compared to 50 shade's of Grey, all the series are tooooo much sex.

Hot SEALs & their Strong heroines find hea........

This was a really great series. From the prequels to the final novel I enjoyed it all.

These guys are all members of an elite SEAL team based in San Diego and while not 'actively' looking for their one true love they manage to find her anyway. It's not all roses from the start and each will have to come to terms with their own idea of love & duty, but in the end each will get the girl of his dreams.

JD Hart does a superb job giving these characters life!

Don't pass this set up! You won't be sorry you spent the credit here....

Excellent Set Of Stories

Would you listen to Ultimate SEAL Collection again? Why?

This was an excellent set of stories and must be read in the order they are presented to get the full story. I would not spend another 42 hours on it though. there are too many others I want to listen to,

Who was your favorite character and why?

Fredo, Gunny and Cooper. I loved the interactions between the characters.

What about J.D. Harts performance did you like?

I loved everything about it. he is a great narrator. All of the stories together created a world that was exciting, dangerous, and filled with sex. Although in this day and age I don't think those Seals would have unprotected sex on the first date.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, when they found Mia and Armondo in the cabin and were able to rescue Mia and Fredo would not let Mia go.

basically it said their are Seal and very little about the teams

but I guess it is what it is Romance novel

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

This book is horrible. The storyline does not make sense the characters are not defined this is a total waste of time. Do not listen to this book!

Christy Nelson is traveling to settle her mother's accounts when she bumps into Kyle Landsdowne in the airport. The two don't really meet, but this chance encounter sets up the story for Accidental SEAL. This is a cute little short that gives a little background to the characters.

Kyle's friend is missing and he knows he must find Armando before something terrible happens, but he doesn't anticipate the lengths Armando's enemies will go to in order to enlist his help.
