A good ending

This series was very good. All three books were action packed, kept you guessing, and edge of the seat suspenseful. This author writes a very good story. Will listen to more of her writings. This third narrator was better than #2. The best was the first.

Twists and turns

I've enjoyed this series though there are some commonalities in basic story premise that can be a little predictable. Nonetheless I enjoyed the stories.

Great book

Jillian and Colton's story is s great addition to this series and ties everything up nicely. The narrator did and a really good job and was my personal favorite.

I was able to figure it out just before they solved it so that was really good. An excellent read.

Kind of a lot down...

loved the series and really looked forward to this book but really could have been a final two chapters to Forsaken.

Still feel like the story isn't finished. Liam and Amy are married, but what about Chad, he is still on the run. The bad guys have not been convicted. Need closure!

Definitely worth the listen!

I almost didn't read this book, but I'm glad I did.

I really liked the first one, but not so much the second so I wasn't sold on trying the third... Having it from Chad's point of view is was ultimately pushed me to continue the series and I'm really glad I did.

This book basically answers all the questions that piled up while reading the first two. We finally get the full story on what happened six years ago, we learn who we can and cannot trust, and then there are some more crazy twists thrown into the mix to keep it interesting.

Forsaken is packed full of action, suspense, romance, and most importantly... answers!

I'm yawning

This is the third installment in the series and I found it less interesting and repetitive . I only continued because I wanted to know how this relates to Any and Liam's story. And the narration by Sebastian York is always superb. (I love his voice).

The main character, Chad is obnoxious and not very likable. He has few redeeming qualities. His love interest Gia is a saint. If you're reading the series you probably can skip this installation except all of the reasons for Amy's six year ordeal are revealed.

Suspense, drama, insight

Overall the story was good. Main character development and introduction of new characters was relatively thorough. Something bothered me w the entire story though. Why couldn't the bad guys get to Serena if they knew where she was? Also, if the enemy had figured out who was sending notes and they had the resources insinuated, why couldn't she be found? The thoughts of the main two characters were well explained and both gained personal insight and deeper faith. The author did a good job with all that detail but didn't seem to have the same thought out detail with the crime solving. I think if law enforcement saw so many attacks on one person the protection detail would have come sooner and been different. I wanted to like the book. I did enjoy the characters and plot line just too many of the situations in the story started to feel implausible. Then the book ended with a cliffhanger! No wrap up to the mystery that was the main story of the entire book. I felt cheated. Now to get the true ending I guess I need to read the next book.

The narrator for this book did a good job with different voices and clear speaking but sounded robotic. Not enough emotion or change in diction through the reading. Exact same reading pace.

Gamble on this Book

Shorter but still packed with action, suspense and sexy time. Take a gamble on this story - but start at the beginning with book one.

The Titan series is overloaded with testosterone and alpha male hotness. These men can save the world and still have time to seduce a woman and fall in love... and its always great to see a strong man fall.

Gambled, and paying the price.

Jeffrey Kafer did another excellent job. He makes these badass guys sound that way. He made a decision--his family or his team. By choosing his family he has lost his other family--Titan. Or has he? While trying to repair his marriage with an island get-a-way he gets several emergency calls from Titans boss, his -former- friend to save a kid.

The woman standing by him now is his wife. When she wants to stand with him on the mission....well you'll have to find out. Make sure you take note of the head of Titan's version of a house warming.

A fantastic follow up for Brock and Sarah!

Gambled is a Novella in Cristin Harber's Titan series. It should definitely be be read after Westin's Chase as it picks up after the events which occured in that story. It continues to be packed with action, suspense and combustible chemistry.

Brock Gamble's life is in the ultimate tailspin after his wife and children's abduction. Though he ultimately got them back and they were safe, the lies and deceit he had to construe have left him alone. Bad decision after bad decision led him to ultimately betray his family as well as his trusted team at the Titan Group.

In a last ditch effort to win his wife back, he persuades her to take an exotic vacation. His only hope is to reclaim his marriage. But when duty calls and he is the only one who can help, he must make a pivotal decision.

I love that there was a follow up to Brock's story after his ultimate deceit. I can't wait to read more from this amazing series!

PS- The audio version of this book only enhanced Cristin's brilliance as an author. Jeffrey Kafer does an excellent job of narrating this incredible story.

I loved this book up to a certain scene which I could've done without. I've read where a character said ' I wish i could scrub my ears or scrub my mind with bleach" well that's what I felt like when I heard the scene in the book and you know when someone says don't look and you automatically look. well the scene suddenly popped out in my mind as it was described and I went into shock OMG...!! wish I knew that it was in the book I would've fast forwarded it!! Wish the author put out a warning..! wish the author didn't put it in her story line..!! I'm having second thoughts about keeping this one, I don't want to re-visit the scene!!

I enjoyed this story so much three words cannot possibly do it justice. There were points when I literally laughed out loud and my family thought I was crazy!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Last Kiss?

The whole story was memorable. Two "special" people, a sociopath a high functioning autistic person found love.

Which scene was your favorite?

There were so many scenes between the two, but I loved when he died her hair.

Captivating story

The only flaw I see with this is the length of this "book". If the author is planning to do a mini series they shouldn't take 7 months to release the next few chapters.

Aside from that it is a very good story and love the male narrators voice!

I love listening to audio books as much as I love reading the written word. The difference is that when I read I'm guilty of skipping ahead but you just don't do it when you listen to a book, it makes your hang on every word and I liked the interpretation of these two narrators.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes when I realised that I would have to wait until the next book comes out to find out what the heck is going to happen aaarrrtgggghhhh! I hate that.

Love the way this author sucks you in with strong but vulnerable characters that may not be totally broken but they sure as hell are bent. You don't necessarily like these characters but you get them and you can empathise even if they can't.

Mediumship interests me, so I found this part of the story interesting.

Another Great 1920's Ghost Story!

Simone St. James really knows how to write great ghost stories. This story takes place in 1920's London soon after the events that take place in An Inquiry into Love and Death. This time Scotland Yard inspector Drew Merriken is investigating the death of a young psychic. Here's hoping there are several more Inspector Merriken novels to come!

Fun read, wanted more!!

Really enjoyed this book, didn't want it to end! Not my usual genre, but was fun to read.

Once again Simone St. James has delivered an enchanting tale that whisks it's reader (listener) on a fantastic and emotional journey. The Narration is perfect. So easy to get lost in her voice. I highly recommend! Beware... You'll find yourself missing these characters and wanting more when the journey is complete.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and its narration!It takes a special talent for a narrator to be able to differentiate characters in an audio book - especially when there are severalmale and femalecharacters! Kudos to Amanda Cobb forhavingmadeeach characterin this noveldistinct and believable!She did more than just alter voices!Her inflections and subtle nuances of normal every day language made me chuckle more than once.Fun!

Loved It!

I couldn't wait to get back in my car, walk the track, or settle down at night so I could listen to "All Night Long" again.

The twists, turns, and of course a love story make this an irresistible listen.

I definitely recommend it.

Ms. Krentz and Ms. Cobb do it again! I was intrigued by this mystery, and it actually gave me chills more than once. There's nothing like political intrigue and murder to get the blood going. It also made me imagine going back to my own home town all these years later.

I especially liked the way the narrator handled the sex scenes. They were steamy without being raunchy, and that's a fine line, but I guess that's the writing too....

The discovery of the video made by Pamela was especially creepy.

I normally stay away from novellas, but I have become a huge fan of this series and Ms Reus, so of course I had to listen to it.

In this one Travis Sanchez, a former Marine and member of Red Stone Security, and Noel Baskov, coffeehouse owner, are the main characters.

These two have had their eyes on each other, without taking a step forward. Just when they are about to take it, Noels Little SIster calls her for help. Travis comes in to safe the day. That side of the audiobook gives us the mystery, murder and action.

But I feel the story is more about Noels and Traviss relationship. Ms Reus gives us an edgier, sexy relationship that is off the books.

So for an entertaining story to be listened to in an afternoon, this one is the one for you.

ok story.. Interesting hero with survivors guilt.

Private eye with a military past falls for a coffee store owner and aid her situation with a little girl she mentors under the "Big sister's" program. Due to extreme and dangerous events it pushes the relationship really fast.But, it was a cute love story. I really like the lead male.. Except the weird penis piercing. Worth a listen.. Yes, there was some diversity via other characters.

Liking this series.

This was a sweet story. The narrator is better and makes it more of an enjoyable listen.

Would you listen to Miami, Mistletoe & Murder again? Why?

I absolutely would! There's not too many audios I would listen to again, but I wouldn't hesitate to do so with Miami, Mistletoe & Murder! It was a very enjoyable romantic thriller that also served to educate me about body art...The hero, Travis, is tattooed all over and he has piercings that I'd never heard of AND which I've been unable to forget... So this book educated me too! You'll have to read or listen to the tale to find out where Travis was pierced.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Miami, Mistletoe & Murder?

There were so many! But... I'm going to go with the one that I've been unable to forget when Noel discovered the benefits of Travis' piercing down under.
