Maybe my super-high hopes are to blame for my extreme disappointment

I was really, really disappointed. With story. With storytelling. With the writing. With the (apparently non-existent) editing.

It seemed like a good idea, though.

I gave this two stars because "hate" is too strong of a word for my feelings about this series and because, who knows, maybe one day I'll go back, re-read, and actually enjoy it. My standards have been falling. For now, though, the clunky writing and poor editing make me regret having spent money on it.

Adventerous, imaginative, all around great read..

Adventurous, exciting, descriptive, well written , imaginative and a lot of violence. So if you don't like violence don't tread this.. it's mythology with its own type of twist. Which makes it very interesting.

I really enjoyed icurus the young boy out to save Athens with king theseus. While king Minos is trying to bring it down with his cogwheel soldiers. Basically unkillable. When icurus gets into real trouble and his wings fail and he's sure to fall to his death he's saved by the God. Then given a powerful now which will kill anything but icurus can't bring himself to take a Hunan life so he hands it overcrowded the king..

It's gets really violent towards the end and your on the edge waiting to see what happens. Will Athens falls or will Icurus and Griffin come thru with the only thing that can save Athens. First he has to talk the gods into trusting he is man enough to use it. Can he?

If you've read any of the books before this you'll like this book and the outcome.

I really enjoyed how Griffon was written in to be the deaiest bird but becomes icurus's friend and helps to try and save Athens.

You read and see how the young boy goes from just that to a man in no time to save his country and his father. It's very exciting, a fast paced read full of adventures that keeps you reading .

I recommend this book . I really enjoyed it.

If your on the fence about it, just grab it , you won't regret it.

I was given a copy by the author. Who.I think has a amazing imagination.

Language: English

Release date: 02-22-16

Kelnaria is a planet not so very close to ours. A planet very much like our own, with different races, different climates, lands, water, and all manner of creatures from very small to very large. Kelnaria was created by a group of powerful beings called The Mystics. In our eyes, they would be Gods, but in truth, Gods are simply another race of beings with abilities that we don't understand, but for some reason, like to create worlds and creatures, and sometimes...prophecies. This world was to be filled with peace and tranquility in a land for the harmonious Mystics to love as parents, and love their children with all of the species that they created to inhabit their world. They welcomed beings from other planets to come and visit, or stay, in their creations. However, being Gods of tranquility, love, and peace, this was their first mistake in thinking that all other creatures were of the same like and kindness. Soon it will be inevitable that all will fight over dominance, even if they don't realize what it is they are fighting for.

I thought this book was great. Similar to a Dungeons and Dragons game or The Lord of the Rings read! I hope this author continues to write more as I must know what happened to all the characters! My favorite character is Presaya Lightfoot. I love how she talks!

Read it.

A great fantasy novel, I'm so glad I took a chance and read it. I can't wait for the next book, I'm sure it will be as exciting and entertaining as this one.

Amazing

Everything has come together and now we're awaiting the final resolution. This latest episode of Tremontaine answers many questions but still leaves me waiting anxiously to see what happens next.

Getting close to the end!

(This book was sent to me through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review)

This episode continues the amazing plot of the series.

I don't want to spoil anything so I won't say much but this was one of the best episodes so far.

There was a lot of action and mystery, the perfect mix.

The characters keep developing and the plot just keeps getting better and better.

I can't wait to read more.

Almost done!

I can't wait for the final installment - every time I think the authors have jacked the tension up as high as possible, they manage to raise it another notch.

Five Stars

Truly believable account of a maid becoming a ladyâ

One of the best episodes

(This book was sent to me through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review)

This episode is divided in two perspectives: present day and seventeen years ago.

The way the authors wrote this episode was brilliant. The reader gets bits of information throughout the episode and, only in the end do we get the confirmation of what happened to Diane and Louisa.

Just like the last one, I believe this was one of the best episodes of the series.

The characters keep developing and the plot is still gripping, even after 12 episodes.

The next episode is the last one, concluding the first season of Tremontaine. I can't wait to read it.

These serialized novels are utterly addictive! This episode takes all of the characters to Lady Tremontaine's Swan Ball where personal and political machinations ensue. Moves the story and characters along nicely (fantastic how well the multiple storylines are juggled and intertwined) and leads to the inevitable cliffhanger that leaves you waiting until the next week (or just read them all at once)!

Four Stars

Enjoyable bitâ

The Swan Ball!

The annual Tremontaine Swan Ball is not an event to be missed. Read to see whose plans pan out and whose go awry in this next excellent episode of Tremontaine.

Great episode

(This book was sent to me through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review)

This episode was all about the Tremontaine ball. It was very interesting to see how the Duchess hid the fact that they're low on funds.

The plot of this episode was simple but still enjoyable. Almost all the characters attended the ball and it was great to see them all in the same room and witness their different reactions to the same things.

This episode had less action then the previous ones but I still liked it.

I can't wait to read the next episode.

Getting ready for the ball

Everyone's getting ready for the Tremontaine's annual swan ball. There are outfits to be prepared, menus to be planned, trysts to be arranged, and - of course - schemes to be managed.

Brilliant series

(This book was sent to me through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review)

In this episode, everyone is making preparations for the ball.

The plot continues to develop wonderfully. I'm really invested in the characters and I just want to keep reading the series until the end.

I love that we get to see different realities from different characters.

There's a big array of settings and characters that keep the episodes rolling smoothly.

I am truly enjoying this series and I hope I'll get to read the next episode soon.
