Where does Marked by the Alpha rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?

This paranormal shifter romance had great spanking scenes that I so enjoy. This is the first book I've read by this author and I look forward to explore more of her works. This book was easily in the top ten of my fav spanking romance novels.

What about Sirly Erics performance did you like?

I had not heard this narrator before but I truly enjoyed his performance of this book. There was some extraneous background noise that was a little distracting but I still think he did a great job over-all.

Where hot sex and seductive romance unite brilliantly

Great writing quality, hot sex, and seductive romance are what makes this anthology appeal to me. Who doesn't like to fantasize about sex while stuck at work in the afternoon? That's the theme here, and I think Allison has hit the mark right on the head. My favorite story is "Line of Sight" with its hot three-way action. I'd recommend this to anyone interested in a gay romantic fiction anthology.

I've always loved m/m romance and/or erotica, but this book seriously takes the cake. It's sweet and well-written and incredibly hot. My favorite story was "One Afternoon in the Bible Belt." I could just picture the setting so well in my head, it was like I was there watching the boys get it on. Now I need to hunt down more works edited by Shane Allison!

This is definitely a different take on working and playing. This was a short read that captured my attention. Wow! A law firm that practices BDSM! I couldn't wait to continue on to book two. This short book had me wanting more. I need to know what would happen after the interview with Laura and Philip. Onto book 2.

Shoshanna Franck always narrates well. With only 2 characters, I am sure it was an easy narration, but she brings the feelings and spice to the book.

Did Not Live Up to Promise

Love's Rhythm had so much promise; if only Lexxie Couper had spent more time developing the characters and making the plot slightly more realistic.

Nick, the rock star, was engaging, tender and sexy but I'm not sure I believe that his "moment of truth" about his first love Lauren occurred when he was having a threesome with total strangers at an island resort.

It was never explained if Lauren dated any other men after leaving Nick when she was about 20. Lauren didn't seem like a martyr (thank God) but no red blooded woman would waste 15 years mooning over her high school boyfriend.

There were some interesting secondary characters, which could have elevated this book from okay to phenomenal. I liked Nick's body guard Aslin the best, and luckily his book is the next in this series.

SUMMARY SOUNDED GOOD..... BUT THE LISTEN DIDN'T

Nick, a handsome successful rock star suddenly becomes tired, tired of the groupies, the sex, the touring and all he wants is a second chance with Lauren the girl, and the love, he had selfishly left behind when he chose fame and fortune without her. It could have been good, in theory it was promising but the actual story and narration was sooo disappointing.

Lauren had been left with heartache, memories (and more) for 15 years and with a big secret to keep from Nick but within minutes and few words they were frantically kissing and groping each other then, within hours, they were sexing it up and within days they were forgiving all and planning their futures. One dimensional characters with no depth in a romance that was too quick, not enough build-up or grovelling (on both sides) too much sex vs. not enough story and the Australian narrator was hopeless.... the males all sounded female and there was no passion to her voice which definitely lost this listen stars. Yes, there were a few touching, tender and sweet parts with romantic sentiments but sadly just not enough of them.

Worth a credit? At under $10 I just bought it and, in my opinion when compared to greats in this genre like Sinners On Tour by Olivia Cunning, NO this work is not worth a credit but maybe a half price sale.

Spanking Paranormal Romance

There is nothing better than a spanking paranormal romance in my book & Devon's Discipline did not disappoint. I enjoyed the detailed paranormal history which made the story come alive for me. I'm a sucker for wounded heroines where the hero saves her and finds himself being saved himself.

It was pretty good at some parts but other parts really dragged and was sort of repetitive. All in all Raine could have done more with the book. I left wondering how the two love birds would continue their relationship. The ending was just very week. The narrator really made the book.

I Love this Author and Loved this Book!!

I love Jasmine Haynes. She is a wonderful writer: sexy, sensual, sensitive and very emotional. I love sexy stories with a solid background, emotions, thought and not just sex. I find that Jasmine has been consistent in her deliveries. Besides, I love her background- the Bay Area plus I love that she writes great, sexy, stories which feature characters of a certain age- late 30's/40's that show them as sensual, sexual, engaging and smart. Thank you for another great read. I wanted more!! Can't wait for more of your books.

Incredible!

I first read this book in Jul 2011 and now it is November and I am still thinking about this book. I think it very brave Ms. Haynes wrote a book about this subject! Then she gave it credibility with the POVs of Drew and Alexis, the thought provoking topic, the emotional aspects and the consequences. I was glued to this book until I finished because I have known several people, married and otherwise, who decided to be kinky neighbors (or friends) and I wondered how Ms Haynes handled the emotions and drama. She did an excellent job and did not disappoint! I also wish the ending was a little longer and would enjoy a sequel. This was my first book by Ms Haynes and I have since gone on to read the rest of her books!

3.5 stars - Hot read, but too short :)

This was a hot read. The story had a realistic feel to it and I liked that the couples had both been married a long time. I liked getting the POV from Drew & Alexis, but Cat & Logans were missing. This book was long enough to get an idea of each character, but too short for a decent ending. I would have liked to see how each couple turned out. Maybe there will be a 2nd book?

I would give this book an x rating....not Xxx though. It is very hot and will get ya going....if you know what I mean. As much as I thought STOP this is to much...I han to read on. I am very glad I did. The ending is fab. I am now sad that it is all over.

A young character romance with adult storyline

Well, this was an interesting book, the age of main female character was 19 but the storyline was much older. Was reviewing for my 16 year old and have decided not quite appropriate for her. The narrator had a very young voice that fit the 19 year old character as well as the other high school characters.

A first time

This is the first time I give a five-star rating to an erotic story. 'Caressa's Knees' is very well written and the characters have enough depth to interest the reader in their behavior and evolution. We may not always understand why Melissa acts the way she does, but she doesn't herself. Neither does Kyle at the beginning, but he slowly finds out. He, on the other hand, always has a reason for what he does, although he sometimes wonders - he wouldn't be human if he didn't - if he is doing the right thing.

Some readers express doubts as why should a man like Kyle love a needy brat like Caressa. I would suggest he does because 'needy brat' is far from fully defining Caressa. He clearly sees in her someone who is worth saving and loving, someone with the ability to love him back. He once describes her as a goddess with the power to put him in awe of her. A damaged goddess, to be sure, but a goddess nonetheless.

I definitely will buy other books by Ms. Joseph and hope I will enjoy them as much as I dis this one.

Hot and Crazy. And hot.

This is the second book in the Comfort Series and really makes a lot more sense if you've read the first one, Comfort Object. I don't really think it works as a stand alone so do yourself a favor and get both. The author presents a quick, hot, enjoyable read for those looking for an escape from the humdrum of most lives. The characters are mostly over the top rich and beautiful without spending a whole lot of time with real world issues like jobs and such. The Hero is HOT and the Heroine is a little CRAZY. They mostly just have sex. Lots and lots of kinky sex. Not that there is anything wrong with that. There is a love story in there too, and conflict, and supporting characters, and spanking. Lots and lots of spanking. This book touches on BDSM issues but it is within a consentual monogamous relationship between adults and, dare I say it, a little vanilla. It is well written although the author struggles to keep the sex scenes fresh and after a while they all seem a little bit alike. You know, Tab A goes into slot B, rollover and repeat. Still a quick and enjoyable escapist read.

One of Annabel Joseph's best heros.

This is really my favorite of Annabel Joseph's novels so far. I, like many other readers, really wanted to know what became of Kyle since he had such a great heart in Comfort Object. He was such an enigma in that book that it was so great to finally get his story.

As usual, Annabel Joseph really shines in her ability to flesh out these two people so that you can really begin to care about them as the story progresses. Is Caressa a bit childish and horrible? Absolutely. And I've always hated when people say, talented people can be difficult.

Sin Incarnate

A very sensual and exciting short read that's sure to keep you on your toes! Amazing paranormal elements, sensuality and characters; altogether a very original story that any paranormal erotic reader will truly enjoy and crave much more of!

Lorna is a character many women can relate to. She's unhappy with herself; mainly her looks and appeals towards men; she has absolutely no luck with them. Every time she thinks her happiness has finally come, she's completely wrong. She decides to call forth a powerful being of the underworld and ask for him to grant her a wish, beauty. He agrees to grant her the wish with very special circumstances, one of them being a time limit to find a man that can free her.

There's a great build starting with a ménage (M/F/M) scene that leads to what Lorna has waited thousands of years for. You'll love its ending :)

Great Sexy Short Read!

I enjoyed the supernatural element, and the way the author incorprated it into the hot, sexy scenes! Thoroughly enjoyed this story and all the characters. I would like to see more of the antagonist. His power and dominance are a turn on :)
