    Great end times reading
I am loving this series. It is making me realise too just how easily we could be living in end times, it encourages me to watch and wait prayerfully. I know some people have made comments about other series being more biblically correct, but I haven't read those series and I find it quite scriptural. Am already reading the next book and am very pleased that there are a few more good reads awaiting me when I finish the current one.
I am also enjoying being walked through Revelations - the mysterious and yet quite readable and in places flat out bizzare book of the bible, and being reminded of what is to come. Hope there is such thing as the Rapture... debate still rages in Christian circles and I don't have to be one of the ones living through it.
What more can be said about the Left Behind series ...
What more can be said about the Left Behind series, not only thorougly enjoyable but thought provoking. Nowadays, the Second Coming of Christ is taken lightly or dismissed by many - "it will not happen in my lifetime" - but the series reminds us that it could be at any moment.
    4 stars
I just read Chapter 1 that is posted on the Left Behind Web page. This book picks up right where Soul Harvest left off. Same quick paced action and biblically correct story. I can hardly wait to get the whole book. This one looks to be the best one so far. Jenkins and LaHaye have done it again.
    Five Stars
I AM VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE ENTIRE LEFT BEHIND SERIES. THIS IS MY 2ND TIME THROUGH.

All the books in this series are great.

    great book
Loved the story, great twists, and the narrator did a great job. I can't wait to read the rest.
    Dubiousity
I liked this story. Guessing who the bad guy was , was fun. Almost finding out...., but then not yet.
Title word means rebuilding slowly, snail-like...
and that's exactly the pace of this book. For all of the words and time expended, there's no character development, no real reason why anything that happens in this book happens. Btw, the main character is supposedly a former award winning investigative journalist (must've been on the Fantasy Land News), problem is she needs to get the real dope on the story from her faith in our Lord and that's because this woman is sooooo clueless about everything and I mean E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G; she needs a minor miracle to help her out. There are no clues, because our Heroine wouldn't know what to do with them. She couldn't sniff one out if you pelted her with 5 day old red herrings. Her bestie is in a coma because otherwise the story would've been over by chapter 5. Investigative journalist my Aunt Fanny - our heroine couldn't find sand on a beach.
Badly written, childish story about people that you can't warm to at all and, oh yeah, it's badly narrated too. The only clever thing about this book is the title word, after that everything else is a massive waste of your time and it will hurt your ears too!
    religious
I wish Christian books had a big label on them. if I wanted bible-based mysteries, I would read the bible. gag.

    hard to listen to
I really enjoyed the story, but it was hard to listen to at times. I could tell the reader was reading. It made conversations hard to understand.
    Loved this set!!
The author did an excellent job of capturing the authenticity of the time period. Biblically and historically correct.
    Outstanding Set of Books!
It was very hard to shut down the program at bedtime. This is one of the best examples of Biblical Historical Fiction that I have read (or rather listened to) in a long time. I highly recommend this outstanding set of books!!!
First audio book series I ever completed
This series was given to me as a gift and once I started listening to it I could not stop. I have repeatedly found myself arrived at my destination and not wanting to get out of my vehicle & stop the audio. The narration by Ruth Elsbree was excellent and held my attention, even during my frequent 10 hour long drives. The many characters were well voice separated, making the story easy to follow or pick back up. The story made me laugh cry think and give me knowledge about the beginning of Christianity that I never would have otherwise taken the time to learn.
    Seeds of Christianity
What disappointed you about Seeds of Christianity 4-Book Boxed Set?
The first book, Witness, was a good story line that kept me listening even though I was not pleased with the narrator
Would you ever listen to anything by E. G. Lewis again?
Not with the same narrator - I have decided to not listen to the rest after making it only a few chapters into the second book.
Would you be willing to try another one of Ruth Elsbrees performances?
    Never
You didnt love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Yes, I liked the first book for it's story line - I wanted to be able to listen to the other 3 but could not get into the second book. It was not good enough to endure the narrator.
    Any additional comments?
    I am disappointed

this book has been an enjoyable opportunity. Susan Boise as The voice for this book was amazing! I can't wait for the next in the series and I'm going to start it now. I am on pins and needles when I have to turn the audio book off and do my real work. Always excited when I can restart the playing of this audible book. I I'm grateful for Charlotte Hubbard and her storyline. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and ideas about the Amish.
    Wonderful series!
Some of the best Amish fiction I have ever listened to! The story is excellent and well-written.
    Fun and Heartwarming
What was one of the most memorable moments of Autumn Winds?
One fun parts of the story is when the Bishop gets caught in his double sided living. He got what was coming finally and was found out by one of the embarrassingly silly but no nonsense aunts. There are a lot of different Moments that I liked for different reasons.
Have you listened to any of Susan Boyces other performances before? How does this one compare?
    Yes. I've liked them all.
    Any additional comments?
This book has just the right amount of annoying people that you want to give a piece of your mind, silly people that get Under your skin, and good hearted people that warm your heart, all woven into a story that takes you away from whatever life has doled out and warms your heart.
    Love Comes to all ages
Would you listen to Autumn Winds again? Why?
I really enjoyed the people and activity of Willow Ridge.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I enjoyed the main characters of Ben and Miriam. The caring and understanding to each other and her daughters were very sweet.
Which character as performed by Susan Boyce was your favorite?
I really enjoyed Ben's old maid aunt, Jerusalem. With being named after a Biblical city, I am sure it would really strengthen and empower you. Great in your face, strength.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Love is wasted on the young.
    Any additional comments?
I really enjoy the whole series. Great characters!
    awesome heart warming
Heart warming. hard to put down. can not wait for next book. love this warm loving book

    Publisher's Summary:
What marks the boundary between a miracle from God and the imagination of a child? Leah is a child from away, isolated from her peers because of her stutter. But then she begins painting scenes that are epic in scope, brilliant in detail, and suffused with rich, prophetic imagery. When the event foreshadowed in the first painting dramatically comes true, the town of Mattingly takes notice. Leah attributes her ability to foretell the future to an invisible friend she calls the Rainbow Man. Some of the townsfolk are enchanted with her. Others fear her. But there is one thing they all agree on - there is no such thing as the Rainbow Man. Her father, the town psychologist, is falling apart over his inability to heal his daughter or fix his marriage. And the town minister is unraveled by the notion a mere child with no formal training may be hearing from God more clearly than he does. While the town bickers over what to do with this strange child, the content of Leah's paintings grows darker. Still, Leah insists that the Rainbow Man's heart is pure. But then a dramatic and tragic turn of events leaves the town reeling and places everyone's lives in danger. Now the people of Mattingly face a single choice: Will they cling to what they know... or embrace the things Leah believes in that cannot be seen?

Kill a mocking bird meets Stephen King
This book reminded me so much of Stephen King's It. Instead of the killer clown we have The Rainbow Man. It's an interesting story but has a rather religious theme just to let you know. Visions by a young girl predict the happenings in a small town in Virginia. Again it reminds me of a Stephen King book Under the Dome. The mayor in both books is named Big Jim. So if you want a Stephen King book with a Christian theme, this is your ticket. There is also tension between the young girl's parents that is never really explained other than the father has a job and has to work to support his family. He keeps getting in trouble just because he has to see his patients as a therapist. This makes the other two characters sound like a duo of crybabies.
The narration is quite excellent going from a young girl with sutter to an old man.
One of my favorite books I have listened to.
Well written, wonderful story, great narration. What's not to like.
One I my listen to again and has never happened before.

    quirky adventure. short fun read
The second book in the chasers series! Excellent!! This book picks up where Crossover left off and does not disappoint. Once again a very short read. It is well written and mostly predictable, but Jack Carter is just too much fun to ignore. He is the little brother hero you want to reach out and help! Tazors..really bad idea..we all know that! I can't stand having to wait for the next part of the adventure to be published. Once again Mr.Dalglish states it is not doctrine, just good clean fanasty. Christian readers should be open to the fun quirky afterlife adventure. Please keep sharing your gift with your fans!

I like the story a lot. The only thing that was a little annoying is probably more personal preference, but the the narrator goal was to sound like the person telling her story which meant it sounded like her mouth was dry. She needed to take a sip of water about halfway through. Besides that I truly enjoyed the story.

Looking for a new author after Melody Carlson ?
This Christian fiction novel is for all those out there that have ever wondered that just because they want to become a Christian - do they have to change their appearances on the outside . Before New Adult became a popular genre in the past few years, there was just teens and adult books and Just As I Am was considered an adult novel but it is in fact aimed at the mid -late 20's and possibly early 30's age group as we meet Mayla who I would put as late 20's . She has purple hair and facial piercings and works in a bar at night as her second job. Her mother has been talking her ear off about becoming a Christian and during her reluctance to attend one of her mum's local church services, Mayla finds herself drawn in and like God is speaking to her and one thing leads to another and she finds herself getting baptised in a robe and her hot pink panties which her mum calls her hooker panties. Join Mayla as she will navigate the next few months through her beginning Christian walk and showing others that even though she has become a Christian, its just a part of her - she is still the same Mayla , just a better version inside. We read Mayla's journey as she meets new friends, goes through heartache and pain , have friends turn their back on her and cause trouble and even lead some of the most unsuspecting people to Christ without even trying.
If you have enjoyed Melody Carlson's books, then you will find yourself right at home with Virginia Smith's series "Just As I Am" .
God Loves Us Just As We Are- Purple Hair and All
Virginia Smith has penned a refreshingly honest, heart-felt, funny story. I was pleasantly surprised and instantly grabbed by how real and entertaining this story was, even though its intended for a youthful audience.
This story begins with Mayla Strong, a girl with purple hair, an earring in her nose and stud in her lip, makes a decision to be saved and then baptized in church one day.

Entertaining and I'm looking forward to the series
I enjoyed the concept and the cross over into a gamers world. However, that really opens the door for gamer criticism on attack method. If this was a movie you can skip those details due to timing but the readers/listeners want more details like limitations and why.... so we don't criticized the writer.
    One of the worst narratives...
I should have my license revoked if I listen to this while driving. This ranks just slightly below driving under the influence of alcohol. The story is good but the narrative is monotonous. If there is some other narrator for this story, get that instead.
    The story vs The Performance
The narrator was a problem. I found myself constantly distracted by the soft tone of the delivery. Often times the action was not depicted in the narration. there was also very little differentiation between characters from the narrator.

Always a winner with Colleen Coble!
I have loved all of Colleen Coble's books, and this is no exception. She develops her characters and stories very well. This story about a heart transplant recipient is different than anything I have read by her. My only criticism is I wish she had done more explanation of cell memory, But, that does not take away from the book. I highly recommend it!
    Excellent
Intrigue, good outcome, unpredictable, good character development, good morals and yet true to life. What a refreshing change to read this author after reading so many books that I have had to return due to foul language or steamy sex scenes.
She never ceases to amaze me
I love her books and I am so glad I found this author!! Her books are good.
    Enjoyed a lot
I really enjoyed the story and have nothing bad to say about it but although I really enjoy/love listening to Devon O'Day's voice in most books , I didn't think it was particularly suited to this one. Even when pursued by someone trying to kill her she never seemed to sound upset or frightened. Her voice almost always seemed to have a lilting laugh hidden in it like she was delighted about something. In other words it never changes tone. Other than that I loved the book.
    amazing review
Loved it. from beginning to the end, it was riveting. I enjoyed listening to this book.
