Helmut Barz, Sohn von Paul Barz und selbst Schriftsteller und Theaterregisseur, lässt in seiner Lesung die Charaktere des Buches wieder auferstehen, wie er sich auch aus den Erzählungen seines Vaters kannte.

Das Roman ist nichts besonders, aber man lernt wie es sein gewesen muss. Am Anfang fand ich es entspannender as am Ende.

The story/content is actually not uninteresting, though nothing special.

Definitely not. While the man has a nice and sonorous voice, he is incapable of reading a text without sounding so dramatic on every word that he is impossible to listen to even for an hour.
