I love Storm & Evies story!!

I read the book when it first came out, but hearing it makes it even that much better. Thank you, Carina Cole for this beautiful story, and thank you Joe Arden & C J Bloom for brining it to life!!! My only complaint is that the story ends way too soon.

SO WORTH THE WAIT

I loved the continued story of Storm and Evelyn. So glad to experience their wedding, and life together. Hearing from the other characters from the other books. Wished it was longer but Atleast we can see more books are going to be on the way for other characters.

So happy for the Storm sequel, my only complaint is that is wasn't long enough!!! CJ Bloom was outstanding as Evie again. Joe was great too. I love this author!!!

A Great Addition to the Series!

This is story was very sweet and much needed after experiencing Tied. Storm was as sweet as always, I just knew he was considerate and compassionate in the first book, but in this novella, we clearly capture his loving nature he hid for so many years. We have never experienced Storm's mind, but this time we got to see how generous, gentle and passionate he is when he truly loves someone, which I love in a man. Meanwhile Evie, I did not like how low her self-esteem was. The guy she was with for a long time did a number on her, she truly believes she doesn't deserve the good she is experiencing in life, but Storm is helping her see her worth and that she can love and be loved. I, for sure, want to see more from these characters and how they develop emotionally throughout the years in their relationship. I mean, It's difficult to nourish and maintain a relationship, and I want to see them grow together as couple.

I loved the cameo appearances from the other characters, I wish there were more, but beggars can be choosers! I will continue to support Carian Cole and the stories that need to be told!

ONLY A MEH AND A SHRUG FROM ME IM AFRAID

Sadly, I think this was probably my least favorite Wright story.. and Im really not sure as to why this particular Wright wasnt the right story for me. Morgan, the newly appointed twenty-seven yr old CEO of Wright Industries, had had a crush on Patrick, her brothers bff, since she was fifteen and all the Wright siblings knew.. but Patrick didnt. And when he was finally told the truth about his best friends baby sister crushing on him, thirty-one yr old Patrick suddenly saw the strong independent workaholic Morgan in a whole new light.. and he liked what he saw. However, the problem was that Patrick had a bit of a bad reputation when it came to the ladies.. and the Wright brothers werent going to be happy with him dating their baby sister.. hence the secret. So they took things slow, kept their romance on the down low and enjoyed a few clandestine liaisons where they let their feelings flow.

But secrets will always out.. and they werent the only ones hiding the truth because an estranged Uncle had neatly manoeuvred his way into the Company and he was backstage skilfully moving his pawns and pulling strings ready for his final checkmate.

Worth a credit! Yes, this was an enjoyable steppingstone to the next book.. but it was just a bit meh nothing special for me - Patrick was nice, Morgan was nice, the very close family relationships and dynamics were all very nice and the discovery of feelings were nice too. However, I wanted something more.. maybe it was more drama, more angst or more romance.. or maybe it was something less juvenile in its plotline.. I just dont know but it was that extra something that (for me) would take it up to the next level from just being good to being great or even outstanding. The narrators did a great job with this dual POV contemporary romance that had a drop of drama, some sex, a beloved family entourage.. and a secret or two.

Morgan Wright RULES!! A huge thumbs up!!

I will start by saying that I am a huge fan of this series and this book is EVERYTHING and more. Kyla has given us 3 Wright Brothers and with this book she has given us Morgan Wright... "Baby Wright", the sister who happens to be the CEO of the company and the one that basically has her life together. Morgan Wright is a force to behold and a woman who has a clear path of what she wants and that she will work for everything she aims to have in her life. Love is the one thing that has eluded her because in her eyes there is no one other than her brother's best friend that she even looks at. As the story progresses we get glimpses of Morgan & Patrick's relationship and banter as "friends". You find yourself in the mind of this woman that basically has it all except the intrest of the one man she has forever had a crush on. I'll leave it there because this is where the story gets interesting.

I will say wholeheartedly that Morgan Wright is a force to be reckon with and that as a woman and a professional she is all inspiring.

Lauren Blakely has done it again! I have fallen in love again! Is there a book boyfriend of Laurens I havent fallen head over heels in love with? I dont think there is. She just has this way with her male characters. I am a huge fan of her male POV, are we sure shes not a man? She always gets it so spot on. That being said, I really loved that this book was a dual POV, getting insights into both Jones and Jillian really made their story stand out. I love the way Lauren writes, it always makes me feel such a vast array of emotions. I swoon often, which is a given really, sometimes even shedding a tear or two, and laugh, oh boy, do I laugh. She is hilarious, the thoughts and situations these characters come up with. I read this book and devoured it, I was hooked from the very first page, so much so, that I couldnt pass up listening to the audiobook when it released today. I liked the cover a lot, especially the audiobook cover's inclusion of the narrators names. I like that it's similar to the MVP cover but still distinctly its own. Although it is a sports romance you dont have to be a sports fan to enjoy it. This is a story about love, a story about family, and a story about following your heart.

Jones is all the things. He is sweet and sexy, funny and charming. Jillian is the ultimate professional, shes the person you want on your team. As a football fan, Im telling you, I want Jillian taking care of my guys.

What a ride!

It was like a rollercoaster! It is a ride I will get in line to ride again! I was on the edge of my seat! It was a great resolution to the series. I ended the story feeling proud of Cat! Great writing and love the narrator's voice for Cat.

Ps...Kato? I am hoping for more stories from the Kingmaker world. I am eager to learn more about other characters.

Sorry to Say....

I love the first two books in this series. The world building and character development in them are beautiful and re-listening to them isn't a chore (I think I'm up to three times now which isn't usual for me). Needless to say I've been awaiting the third and final book with baited breath and I'm at best apathetic.

The book found Cat growing and regressing over and over in very short periods of time, often even repeating the same phrases in her epiphanies. If anything she lost dimension from the last two stories to this one and Griffin was extra super flat.

The story went almost nowhere in such a long time. The author focused on encounters that could have been brief and glazed over more important interactions, and many of the scenarios were echoed later in the story.

I was so frustrated and annoyed that I almost didn't finish this one guys....

Great Conclusion

Amazing book! Very captivating. Wish the trilogy wasn't over. Maybe there will be a spinoff series?

Sad Day

Im so sad its over. But I will likely listen to them all over again. This is now my favorite series! I want to hear more about Carvers story and how he finds love, is it with the ex princess? I also want to hear about Likeron and his Dove! Fingers crossed one day it will be written!!

WELL HELL, A CLIFFHANGER!!!

I love the Saga of the Steel Brothers but did not expect a cliffhanger! Im just a little (a lot) upset about this. Nothing, absolutely nothing gets resolved in this book. Its still a good story but how much money does Ms. Hardt want, to give us some semblance of resolution! Unfortunately, Im too invested in The Steel Brothers but if the next one is a cliffhanger, Im done.

Great Addition to this Series!!

This book starts off intense with the history that Sutton and Emrys share.

You cant help but feel for them and all the suffering they have to go through. Their story isnt for the faint of heart it is rough and raw and takes a toll on both of them.

Healing isnt easy no matter the attraction; I very much enjoyed Sutton and his gruff ways. My heart hurt for him being who he is he doesnt like weakness and he has to hit bottom before he can become the man he wants to be.

Em needs to forgive and learn to heal from the inside out. It a sweet story of finding yourself and knowing and going after what you want. I very much was rooting for these two. Their journey isnt easy but its necessary.

I liked the narration but I didnt love it. I didnt feel much emotion for either narrator, it felt more like they were just reading the words and not giving much emotion or inflection to their voices. You get used to it; it is not terrible just okay.

Learn to Love

I was gripped by the opening of this book. I'm not a fan of abuse or evil people, so parts of this story were difficult to listen to for me. The book is full of vivid imagery, mystery, murder, deceit, hope, reconciliation, forgiveness, and love.

Self Respect

The first story "Groom Wanted" ended off abruptly. The second story " Bride Wanted" was much better !!! There was much more suspense wondering what would happen. Chase always stood up for his woman but Lesley should have stood up to Tony her ex boyfriend herself. I wanted to nudge her when she would stand there and let Tony talk to her just anyway.

Two Fun Romances for Fans of The Proposal, Greencard, or You've Got Mail

This book contains two novellas, both containing unusual stories of love and marriage, both set in Seattle. In both, the woman was the one requiring some straightening out.

The first novella, Groom Wanted, is a typical green card marriage story. Julia Conrad's family business was in dire jeopardy a few years ago due to a misguided romance. Alex, a Russian biochemist has brought it back to life with his innovations which are set to soon hit the market, but his visa expires and he's denied a renewal. The relationship between Julia and Alex has its own unique sets of ups and downs. Mostly Julia was the cause of the downs and there were many times I wanted to smack some sense into her. But, of course there wouldn't have been much of a story if one of them wasn't messing things up. It was enjoyable and I really like Alex -- most of the time anyway :-)

Bride Wanted, the second novella in this collection was a mail-order bride story with some modern twists. Chase has spent many a winter alone in remote Alaska working at a pipeline station and has vowed to have a bride to keep him warm this next winter. He goes to Seattle for three weeks and rents a billboard advertising for a wife. On the exact same day, Lesley, feeling abandoned by her closet friends on what should have been her wedding day, heads to the grocery store for some ice cream and DVD therapy only to get mugged. Chase captures the mugger and saves not only her purse, but her day. And Lesley, unknowingly captures Chase's heart.

Of the two stories, I think I enjoyed the second a bit more than the first, but both were entertaining reads - as I have come to expect from Debbie Macomber. If you enjoy Debbie Macomber or you've enjoyed movies like Greencard, The Proposal and You've Got Mail you will likely enjoy these stories as well.

Great Vacation Read

I loved that this was two books in one. Love Debbie Macomber, her books are always a nice escape.

YES! YES! YES!! Twisted, Creative, Unique, Exciting!!!

So excited I finally got Brick's story and he got his turn.

The back and forth with Nadia and Brick was insane. They are both control freaks and thrive on power so to see these two going head to head was heart pounding!!!

Neither wanted to submit. Neither wanted to stop playing the game.

I seriously had doubts through the entire book how JA Huss was going to give Brick his happily ever ever but she did.

She literally had to break him for him to see the truth right in front of him.

I do have to say, Brick is the master manipulator and had me giddy with excitement at his mind games!! The man can seriously play with your head and your heart. He's intense to the highest degree and I craved it!!

You will absolutely love Brick and Nadia's story!!!

This entire series was one of my all time favorite reads EVER!!!

The audio is FANTASTIC!!!

The narrators did an AMAZING job becoming the characters. You could feel their performance whole heartedly.

Not a fan on this one

I don't know.. I couldn't get behind Nadia in this. she fought Brick every step of the way. how did they expect everything to work out when they were constantly fighting? i found myself irritated at times. When it all came together at the end I felt like it was rushed and they still were terrible for each other. not my cup of tea I guess. o.. and a serious lack of sex in this book. i mean, it was there but not like in the first book. if u like the taking turns series, you don't NEED to listen to this one.

So Worth the Wait for the Audiobook!

I started the Turning Series (Taking Turns and Turning Back) over the past summer and was blown away by the story and the 10 Star narration on both these books. Yet, waiting for the audio release of "His Turn" felt slow and painful. I thought it would never be released and almost decided to read it, but I'm so glad I waited for the audio version.

As with any of JA Huss books, she is going to give her audience a major mind-F.....K type of story and His Turn is no different. "His Turn" is the story of Elias (Bric) Brickman's, the master manipulator, who meets his biggest challenge that makes him start to question all he knows and all he is.

Great narration!

I really liked the narration for this audio - the narrators did a great job of bringing the characters to life. This was funny and I loved Brooke's personality. My only complaint about the story is that I wish we got James point of view, at least a little glimpse would've been great.

Very entertaining, with wonderful narration

Loved this book and flew through it too fast! I am now searching for more books narrated by Brittany Pressley. She is fantastic!

Don't waste your credit.

The heroine is the most nagging creature on earth. So unsure. So many debates over nothing, so much drama. My god get a grip.

Very shallow relationship with James.

I love R.S. Grey's books. I've read most of her books in print but switched over to audio for The Foxe and the Hound--loved it, so I've decided to finish off the books of hers I haven't read yet all in audio. Great narration with this one again. And, as always, great chemistry between the main characters. Although I usually prefer both POV, I understand why we were only given Brooke's for this one. R.S. Grey writes well about the need to understand and fully discover oneself before making drastic life choices; a much more modern view than some books I've read.

Angsty romance. While I was annoyed with the heroine sometimes, there wasnt anything that I could find wrong with the hero. They had great chemistry, so that made up for the things I didn't like about Brooke Davenport. ALSO, James Ashwood is the ultimate book boyfriend!! Loooooooved him.

As for narration, I thought that Brittany Pressley had the perfect voice for this story--she suited the main character well. I will probably look for more romance narrated by her!
