Louise Bay creates 5 star magic once again!

Hot dayum, Louise Bay! Every time I think I've heard my favorite Louise Bay audiobook I listen to the next and I'm blown away yet again. The British Knight did not fail to live up to my high expectations and now wears the crown as audiobook ruling over my heart.

Alexander and Violet are romance perfection. Alexander is book boyfriend heaven. He's driven, handsome, smart and utterly charming. But his softer, sweet side, especially when it comes to Violet is what kept me madly in love with him. Violet, for her part was a total dream! She's smart, sexy, confident, and beautiful and yet remains relatable because of her vulnerability and hesitance to let herself love again. Together the Violet and Alexander make for an electrifying couple.

With chemistry that sizzles and a love story that captivates from the begging to the very last sentence. Louise Bay creates magic once again with this five star, standalone!

Narration by Saskia Maarleveld and Shane East was phony short of perfection. Both bring their respective characters to life beautifully. Plus, Shane East voice is just plain heaven. 5 stars.

Another awesome Louise Bay story

Great read! I love this author because she writes in way that really makes you feel the emotion of the characters. I loved it and couldnt stop listening. I really loved the narrators as well. It wasnt as steamy as some of her books in the past but nonetheless I thoroughly enjoyed it and cant wait until her next book! I hope it comes out soon!

Pleasantly surprised by this book. I bought this book on a whim thinking that I needed a break from my usual sci-fi romance. What I found was a wonderful story that made me laugh, cry and feel all the emotions in between. I will certainly be checking out some of this author's other works. Thank you for a wonderful listen!

Two Great Narrators Paired on this Great Listen

Awesome continuation in the saga, but if you listen/read it first it can be a stand-a-lone and not miss out on the main points of history, but listening/reading each book individually is sooooo worth it! I can't wait for the fourth and final book in this epic saga.

Love

After reading Move the stars, I knew I couldnt wait to hear it in audio. The narrators Jessica chose were perfect! Going Back to re reading the series I hear their voices in my head. It brings the emotions back to surface and it was perfect!

An amazing conclusion, or is it?

I loved this series of books so much that I decided to listen to them after having read all three. It is an epic love saga that just grips you from the first chapter of book one. For the audio books, I loved hearing the heart wrenching scenes play out and the readers did a great job. I tend to read really fast so the audio allows me to feel the angst and desperation the characters are feeling. My only critique is that Zach Webber does not sound like a guy from LA; there is a very unique lilt to a SoCal voice. But he does a great job otherwise as Manning. Jessica Hawkins is an excellent writer and I loved all these characters, even Tiffany who should be hard to like. But both sides of the sisters difficult relationship comes through. Im so happy she decided to write book 4 as I really think we need to hear more about how Lake and Manning mange their relationship. Its really just starting and while its fun to imagine what comes next when a book concludes, I think this time theres too much left unfinished. Lakes relationship with her parents and with Corbin. And she hints st some difficulty having children so the happily ever after may not be right around the corner. Looking forward to the release of Lake and Manning!

Ending that was left with so many question.

I started to listen to the three book series on a Friday and by Sunday morning about 3 am. I finished it. I literally could not stop listening.

I liked it.

Im a fan of best friend sibling romances. The 8 years age difference did not bother me. Brandon was responsible guy. He kept referring to Kay as he was supposed to be her guardian. What 18 year old high school graduate needs a guardian? Kay was very immature and that I believe is what put me off on the romance. Her and the best friend were obsessed with Disney movies. I skipped through a lot of the best friend talks. Em was annoying. I do not understand why Kay just didnt say I dont wanna to talk about my sex life with you right now. When I want to talk Ill come to you but for now drop it. Dont lie. Which also shows a bit of immaturity.

Some of the book repeat phrases and words KILLED me. closer- closer- closer. Over and over. Yes we get it fingers are almost to that spot. Yes his tongue his almost to that spot. I think liked the story. I was the female was a tad more mature. I didnt have to hear about an adult loving Disney movies while reading an adult book.

I think the narrators did a good job. I would listen to them again.

Complete review (book 1, 2 & 3)

I waited for all three books to be released before I started to listen to them because I know many of Meghan March"s books have a cliffhanger and I hate to wait too long for the next release. I know many people have a problem with cliffhangers and feel that the author should release as one book, but I just accepted it as...if you love March's books....It is what it is. Fortunately, she got each sequel out fairly quick.

With that being said, I have to admit that I love dark romances, so I was really excited about Lachlan Mount's story, especially since I completely devoured March's Beneath and Dirty Series. It was those books that got me addicted to listening to audiobooks because of the fabulous narrators and brilliant dialog that Meghan March uses in those books. Yet, I found that these three books did not reach that 5-star level that her other books did. ( I believe I gave 5 stars for all of the books in The Beneath and Dirty Series). Don't get me wrong, this was still a great story, but fell a bit short for me. I think this sometimes happens when someone falls in loves with an author's earlier works and compares them against those books. It does mean this is not a great story. It's just not my personal favorite.

Ruthless King started out strong and I was gripped by Mount's desire to control Keira and get her under his control. Mount is a true alpha who is hot and mysterious. Generally, a win-win for me. The sex scenes are off the charts sexy and definitely go beyond simple vanilla sex. Since this is a darker romance, there is not much true emotion for Mount or Keira at this point of the story. March eludes in her storytelling that Mount might have a bit of a BDSM preference. Yet, I would not even consider this a BDSM type of book. It's not that dark. In this book, March does an excellent job creating an interesting hero (if you can call him that) heroine and secondary characters. There are some mysterious twists and turns with some of the secondary characters which will ultimately affect the direction of the next two books. This book is definitely slanted more towards Mount's POV and Joe Arden is a perfect Mount (he is one of my favorite narrators). Yet, even though I read from other reviewers that Lachlan Mount is their dream book boyfriend, I personally think he is not for everyone. Even though I thought he was a sexy and deeply interesting, he would not be my favorite book boyfriend as compared to some of March's other books.

Defiant Queen was the real start of Mount and Keira's love story. This book was obviously more in Keira's POV and I do feel it was the sweetest part of the three book. Yet, it was my least favorite out of the three. Mount's decision to take Keira on her dream trip is a game changer because both Keira and Mount can let down their walls and start to really fall in love.

A WHIRLWIND OF WICKEDLY WONDERFUL FEELS

For twelve hours and twenty two minutes I was in Heaven, happily lost in Kristen Ashleys heartwarming new love story of two characters whod known heartache, whod known loss and whod known drama in their lives. But slowly these sweet beautiful caring characters found each other, found their soulmates, found love and found their HEA. Along the way there were walls to crumble, hurdles to get over, battles to fight, family members and friends to meet, romantic words and scenes to share, passions to ignite and threats from the past to overcome. And this hero and heroine did it in true KA style.. with feeling, with strong emotions, with hot sex, with compassion passion and possession, with torture and tenderness.. and with deep undiluted love.

I was mezmerized, sucked in and blown away by Izzy and Johnnys unfolding love story, by their quirks, their personalities, their backstories, their family values and their emotions.. and I just wasnt ready to leave the small town of Matlock Kentucky - even after the sweet sweet Epilogue. This is a well loved author who seriously knows her stuff, who knows how to pace a story, how to inject tension and drama at just the right time, how to pull at your heartstrings, how to write about a possessive alpha male and how to write a beautiful love story. Also, Stella Bloom and Lance Greenfield are two talented narrators who give five star performances, who bring characters and their stories to life, who inflect project and inject the emotions needed to stir, to soothe and to sate the many flavors of each scene.. and who made it a joy to listen to this audiobook.

The Paige Style Comes Through Clear

Really enjoyed this story. Love the popular star and the rugged carpenter who really isn't just a carpenter. The story was great. I just thought that Heather was a little too critical about Seth's deceit. A bit silly, but to some, it might make a difference, as it did to Heather. When I get so involved in the story, I know it is a great one. One of my favorite narrators, Andi Arndt, did a masterful job with the characters of this story.

This was a struggle to finish as there was no real depth to the story. If it wasn't for the narration I would have never been able to get through it.

Sweet & sinful

I think sweet and sinful are the perfect words to sum up this book. Although A Zavarelli is known for dark, this book is not dark. Its angsty and lovely and emotional and heated. I truly enjoyed it.

Aaron Shedlock made for a perfect Dare. So incredibly confident and cocky, with this whole emotional and sweet side that was limited to his internal dialogue that Aaron made reality.

Tracy Marks was brilliant, as she always is for A Zavarelli characters. Its almost as though they are written for her inflection and tone. Although I enjoy Tracy in all that she does, Zavarelli books are especially a favorite of mine.

Good story, great narration

This story was just okay for me. As expected, theres a lot of steamy sex but, the story and female lead leave something to be desired. There were numerous eye-roll moments and situations that are a real stretch of the imagination. I cant explain without giving spoilers so just listen and decide for yourself - you may find you love it and Im too critical. Either way, you will enjoy it because the narration is superb. As always, Aaron Shedlock and Tracy Marks give outstanding performances. I received a review copy at my request and voluntarily reviewed.

This book was sweet and sexy! While I'm a little bored with this trope since this is the 3rd new release I've listened to in 1 week with that same story line, this one was a little different. It was a little darker and I love a dark "bad boy" with a softer side. I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would when I realized the story line.

Aaron Shedlock is awesome as always!!! He is great with the cocky bad boy and the softer and sweet side too so he really nailed Daire's character perfectly. Tracy Marks is also an incredible narrator, she really brought Lola to life! These two narrators really compliment each other so well.

Pulling My Hair

This is one of the most frustrating books ever. I had to force myself to finish it , but the narrators did a fantastic job. I just dont like when the characters act so stupid, and the stupidity goes on for years.

What a terrific mess!

This couple is the most messed up, tragically beautiful couple ever!

Have to be read to be believed and understood.

Fun, sexy and sweet.

I love Lauren Blakelys writing and devour her books, but Lili Valente is new to me, so I wasnt sure what to expect from this co-authored book, well, lets just say, Im going to be looking out for more books by Lili. I loved this book. It was fun and sexy. Its a quick listen but complete, it wasnt drawn out and it felt like the story had everything it needed, I didnt ever feel like I was missing anything. I hope Lauren and Lili decide to team up again because the finished product is addictive and enjoyable. With plenty laugh out loud moments. I loved the Die Hard references, I was chuckling away, because, lets face it, weve all quoted John McClane, right? The cover is great, sexy but not overly so, the inclusion of the narrator badge is perfect. Id love to have Luna and Valeries story.

Graham and CJ are fantastic, I loved them together so much, who doesnt love friends to lovers, right? Graham is your typical sexy alpha guy, who has a dose of cockiness, and sweetness about him. I loved that he didnt just dive in with CJs request, he thought about it and even sought help from a friend but in the end, he cared enough to help her. CJ is one awesome chick, shes strong and feisty and knows what she wants. She hasnt had the easiest time, and I loved that she didnt come across as something being wrong with her because of her age, It was just something that hadnt happened for her yet, some of us have been there, and it was a nice change of pace to other virgin stories. The fact that they had a shared loss, and kept thinking about that for different reasons made them seem even more suited and added an emotional layer to their characters and relationship.

Badd to the Bone #3 was ok. Not as good as #1. Claire has a LOT of mental problems to work out. I didn't think that part of the story was entertaining or the part of child neglect. Narrator's did a good job. Listen at ur own risk.

Love these Badd boy books!

This third audiobook in the Badd brothers series is about Brock and the girl hes been falling for, Claire. Brock is falling in love fast and though they have a great sex life, he can feel Claire hides parts of herself from him. When she gets a call that her estranged father is dying, Brock takes her from Alaska to Michigan to see him- even though Claire has deep hatred and resentment towards the man. After her father dies Claire finds out something that throws her totally off- kilter and despite Brock trying to talk to her she withdraws even further. How can Brock bring them closer together? Do they really have a chance at a long term rrelationship? Narration was perfect for the characters. Cant wait till the next Badd boy gets his girl

Well I can't say it's better than the 2nd one but I can say that the character Claire is a bit much all over the place, thou in her defence she is dealing with self respect and other things,,,..To Brock, well, he is probably one the most patient, thou the judgement is not set in stone bcuz well, we still have to hear the story of the rest of yhe badd brothers,,, I cant wait to for Bax,,, he has way too interesting start, hopefully I won't wait long

I love this story. It was very emotional and touching . I love the characters and the story line.

The Best!

Being a middle aged divorced woman, I was pretty sure I was jaded and soured towards love stories touching my heart. I was wrong. I have NEVER been so moved and affected as I Was With this story. I not only cried, I sobbed . It was so emotional , My dog looked at Me like I was insane! Thank You For The Emotional Rollercoaster!

Great addition to the series

Where do I start off?????

First I have to say that I loved Bridgette and Louie, Bridgette's son, in The Real Thing, you can see my review for that book HERE. Bridgette is raising her son Louie on her own since her husbands death about five years ago. Yes she does have the love and support of her family around her but Bridgette tries her best to do everything she can for him and not rely to much on others. Secondly I need to mention Bridgette's mother Roxy, now that woman is a HOOT! Just remember Mom knows best, and Mom knows and sees ALL!!!

Bodhi....now there's a hottie, he's not smooth and silky like Zane is in The Real Thing, but he did melt my heart every time he though about or asked about Louie. Its rough for a single parent to find love again because they need to make sure it's the best situation for their child, not only did Bodhi fit the mold for a perfect male influence on Louie but he truly cared about the kid which was wonderful to see.

Bodhi was very much into the Here and Now when it came to relationships....well actually he didn't do relationships because he never wanted to leave behind someone if he was killed on a mission, but since he wanted to explore things with his sexy neighbor he only promised her Here and Now and made sure Bridgette understood there was no future for them when he returned to the city after completing the renovations on the home he purchased for his mother.

Although I received an Advanced Readers Copy of Only for You I did purchase the e-book through Amazon along with the Audible version as well and I have to say I am so very glad I did.
