I need an Encore

Lets be honest Ive been a fan girl for Christina Lauren since B.B. and they have never disappointed, however I am disappointed now, because I am in serious need of an encore. I have had a book boyfriend in Will since he was first mentioned in their books but he has now be replaced by a Beautiful Irish man. Colin is seriously everything that I would want in a mate, hes loving, kind, encouraging, faithful, and even when his dreams come true and he could have anyone he still wants his girl! I love this and I need to know what happens after ...

This was an easy read, pretty quick you wont want to put it down until you finish it! The narrator is amazing and truly does bring this story to life, and the story itself is just so real! More than ever before I believe this is their best book yet and they have truly grown as writers! This book is realistic and heartwarming, and seriously swoon worthy!

I loved it.

I loved the accents by the narrator. Loved the visual descriptions of music. Charming and sweet. Calvin was an adorable male lead.

Don't do it

The story line in this book seems great. I love a good hearted romance in a book. the book itself didn't seem too but but I was completely thrown off by the narrator. She tries to give each character their own voice but her narrating over all is just awful. Please just buy the ebook and save yourself from listening.

Decent story, terrible performance

The cadence of the American accent performed was painful to listen to. The rest of the characters were presented more accurately but the main story didnt feel authentic at all.

Book was really good, but ending was lackluster

I dont understand why you write a really good book to not give people a good detailed ending .....gurrrrrMakes the rest of the book and the wonderful writing kind of seem like it was a waste.

I usually want Molly's books to go on forever....

This had a similar writing style as the Half Moon Hollow series (which I adore) minus the humor and loveable main characters. Honestly, I found myself not liking the MC for well over half the book. Margot came off as cold, snobbish and arrogant well into the story. Even when she softened a bit, she lacked qualities that made me want to know her better or cheer her on in anyway.

Molly's books usually leave me laughing and happy as I click replay for a second, third and even fourth time. But for me, this book lacked humor and the usual compelling characters I would love to meet or hang out with in real life if they existed. As one of Molly Harper's longer books, I kept checking to see if it would be over soon even napping for half an hour while it played. I didn't hate the book. But I don't think I will be replaying it either.

Not a book for everyone, but Molly Harper always manages to bring a smile to my face and the occasional LOL. Her writing is sharp, clever and creative. She brings larger than life characters to life, albeit unbelievable, but reality isn't always the point. The point is this book makes a good little escape.

Tired, Humorless Let Down

As a devoted Molly Harper fan I expected much better.

I wont include spoilers, dont worry. Also, I understand that any devoted fan is absolutely going to listen. Its what we do. :)

This audio is a Sure Thing for romance audio fans!

I am a sucker for Jana Aston, her quirky humor and her dirty dirty sex scenes. If you haven't listened to her Wrong series, add them to your TBL now! Sure Thing is written in her same hysterical fashion that keeps you laughing throughout and identifying with every self-conscious and insecure moment the heroine has. Her audiobooks always can lift my spirits with their hilarity and man, are they ever HOT! They're never super angsty while still pulling your heartstrings, and unpredictable. I loved the main characters with their flaws and insecurities that make them human.

Erin Mallon is absolutely one of my all time favorite voice actors and her performances on Jana Aston's audiobooks are perfection. Perfect casting, excellent range with all her characters and her male voice remains the most realistic I've ever heard in romance audio. Jason Clarke is a new listen for me - in this accent at least! Holy British hotness! I've heard him with an American accent and his Brit accent had me fooled into checking that he was the same voice actor. He is smooth without being posh (a prerequisite for me with British accents) and brings Jennings to life.

Overall, I can't recommend this audio enough. It will keep you laughing, swooning, and, er excited in all the best ways! #auralfixation

love it

I love this story I thought it was great sweet Charming sexy steamy and hot. about two characters who meet at a bar and a hotel they are both have a secret and to frayed or just can't say the truth. it was very cute and funny. this is my fourth book from Jane Aston the narrator's did a great job even the accent I actually enjoyed it. I hope to hear the story about the sister I'm sure I will so excited for the Nextbook. this is not an cliffhanger

I love all the books by this author. This was a feel good book for me, not to deep or dark or anything like that but more of a fun, happy, sexy book! I love that Jennings is British and yes he is a dirty talker too. Violet was fun and quirky, I loved being in her head when she when they first meet. This couple was fun, flirty, sweet and made me laugh. This was all around a fun Rom-Com!

The narration was INCREDIBLE!!!!! Jason Clarke with a British accent was simply perfect and Erin Mallon is amazing no matter what role she is playing! I don't think ANYONE could have done a better job with these characters.

5 Sure Thing Stars!

A must listen. Absolutely loved this sexy, hot and hilarious story and the narration was off the charts!

Slow Burn Romance at it's Finest!

Jessica Hawkins captured the excitement, anxiety, confusion, and butterflies of falling in love so perfectly. This slow burn, coming of age story will captivate you right from the start. Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber couldn't have been more perfect to narrate Lake and Manning. They are my favorite narrating duo and their voices complement each other so well. Arndt narrates the majority of the book phenomenally, but Webber's heart wrenching performance really stole the show for me.

Lake was such an intelligent and mature heroine, but at the same time she was vulnerable and girlish, teetering on the cusp of adulthood. Manning was brooding and dark, but behind the walls and hurt was a man trying to rise above the circumstances of his life. Honestly, all the characters were so genuinely imperfect that you couldn't help but relate to them and root for them to overcome the odds.

Even if you've read the book, I HIGHLY recommend listening to the audio. Every emotion, touch, and feeling is amplified and electric. The audiobook really took this story to the next level. Please keep in mind that this is book 1 in the Something in the Way series. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the books when they're available!

Simply Beautiful

This is the first Jessica Hawkins book Ive read/ listened to. I have a couple but as of yet, havent listened to them. Im going to have to rectify that pronto. This book gave me all the feels and I do mean all. So many different emotions with this story. It was beautiful, and it was heart-breaking, and it is only the beginning. Jessica gutted me in the most perfect of ways. Im not sure how Im going to survive two more books but Im also looking forward to it. This is one of my favourite books of 2017, I listened to it in one sitting, I just couldnt pull myself away, I was so invested in this story and these characters.

Ive not read a lot of forbidden romances, so I wasnt quite sure how this story was going to play out.

Great story and great narrators

This is the 2nd book in the story and doesn't disappoint. I have been chomping at the bit for the audio release since I hear the 1st book earlier this year and was so excited that she kept the same narrators for this book.

While this is still a dark story and deals with the criminal world I did not find this part of the story to be as dark as the 1st book. There still are triggers in this books but for me it wasn't as bad as the first book or other dark books.

Tracy and Sebastian did an amazing job again narrating the story. You could feel the emotions in both actor's role both good and bad and your heart went out to the characters at the right times. Their performance bled together seamlessly and their tones and I wouldn't have picked 2 other performers to pair together for this series.

CLIFFHANGER alert and book 3 is not out yet so you can't even read the book if you wanted to so for those who don't like cliffhangers and unresolved storylines you may want to wait until book 3 is out (I haven't seen any talks of when this will be as book 2 was just released this week). I myself can't wait until book 3 is out to hear hopefully what is "the rest of the story".

LOVE THIS SERIES HATE CLIFFHANGERS

I love this series so much because I love a alpha male and Peter is the best kind of Alpha. Rich good looking and always ready.This book was great from start to finish. The narration was excellent but please Anna hurry with book three. I dont want to forget. Worth five credits

Dark romance cliffhanger

Interesting story. Hot, hot, hot.

I hope there's another book at some point. The ending was a cliffhanger.

Anna zaires a wonder!

Excellent book. A cut above the rest of the captive/kidnapper genre. You empathize with her characters on a visceral level.

Peter and Sarah's love story is twisted and painstakingly beautiful all at once. As always Anna Zaires delivery a book worthy of more than five stars. It was captivating and had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book.

Great book but why is it 3 books??

This is a wonderful book but Im really tired of authors leaving cliffhangers and releasing the next book a month later. Id rather you triple the price and do it all at once or charge 3 credits at once so we dont have to wait.

Stop the multi-part publications

Im sick of spending credits on 5 hour titles with cliffhangers. This is a classic March technique and its wearing very thin.

Truly wish this was 1 book or at the most 2

Waiting for and paying for a 3rd book that is one story is annoying and expensive. Enjoy the series of recognizable characters but not the breaking of one book into 3. Also at least more character development in this but hero is still very unsympathetic and heroine is a pretty whiney still. Female narrator is only so so.

The "Mount Effect" is the real deal!

My oh my. I'm officially under the "Mount Effect". Meghan upped the ante with Defiant Queen and won tenfold. This book was fantastic.

I really liked Lachlan Mount in Ruthless King but I fell in love with him in Defiant Queen. He is one alpha male that I would do whatever he told me to. We get to find out a little bit more about Mount in this book which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The chemistry between Mount and Kiera is Off. The. Charts. I was pretty sure my kindle was going to start smoldering because it was HOT.

Defiant Queen is full of twists and turns that will keep you captivated. The pace of this story was perfectly executed. Meghan does a great job of making you love the anti-hero. I can't wait to dive into the third and final installment of this series. I know it won't disappoint. This book has solidified that every single Meghan March book will be an instant one-click.

So good! 100% worth the read

You are going to want to read this whole trilogy. it is well written, suspenseful and emotional. Dam Meghan March knows how to write a good book!!

I absolutely love the Billionaire's series. J.S. Scott is an amazing writer and this book kept me interested from the beginning to the end. Her stories take you to a beautiful place and leave you blissfully lighthearted. If you add the talented Elizabeth Powers to the mix, you have a winner.
