FIVE MASSIVE FREAKING STARS
If I could give this audiobook more stars I wouldnt hesitate.
I saved this ebook until I had the audiobook in my library, and let me tell you, it didnt disappoint.
What a web Ms Huss did weave, l she had me sitting on the edge of my seat with every chapter I read.
The characters within this book will blow your mind, this story of The Company will freak you out because there is some truth to all of this. If you havent figured it out yet, (The Company, be it by that name or another) is in fact real.
Julie A Huss is a master at weaving a touch of truth in most of her books, if not all.
I havent read one of her books that I havent loved, but this must be my favourite of them all.
And seriously, that is saying a lot.
The narrators Ava & Tad did an absolutely amazing job bringing this story to life for me as a listener.
Its so worth a credit, I mean you get 18hrs of mind blowing listen, suspense, murder, twists and turns and lets not forget some hot steamy scenes.
PHENOMENAL... SIMPLY PHENOMENAL
It was a bit daunting at first, to be faced with a storyline that was going to last eighteen hours.. but I should've known that, when that story's written by a talented and gifted author such as JA Huss, the hours would whizz by in a cryptic whirlwind world of thrilling suspense, action-packed unique drama, tense danger, clever twists and surprising turns. That her well-written characters would be multi-layered and damaged in some way.. loveable rouges, unsung heroes and heroines, challenging clever people caught up in a web of something evil with no way out. However, despite the looming danger, there's passion, romance, self-sacrifice, sex, words of undying love and a joining of two souls. And, in this three book collection, Ms. Huss didn't disappoint.. she didn't hold back.. and she delivered it all by the bucket full.
The Company tried to create numbered programmed assassins.. and they were successful - but, along their manipulating way, they also created a bond.. a bond of two sixes.. one innocent girl was aged six and one lethal man was called six. It takes Harper and James twelve years to be reunited.. and when it happens there's an explosion of chemistry and no turning back. They wanted each other, wanted answers, wanted the downfall of the Company, wanted to hope and wanted out..
