Yes I would since I have read a number of her books. However, I did not realize that this was not the actual book but a live performance about the principles in the book.

Was looking for a book like this that was like God speaking His truths to me. Very conforting & good reminders.

Content good, Voice ok, music horrible

I had cd version put on my phone & LOVED it! His voice was deep and smooth and the music was beautiful! It was soothing, comforting & relaxing but was deleted. The audio version does not sound anywhere near as good and the music is very distorted, constantly pauses and is very annoying. Sadly will probably be returning.

The book is excellent!!

The book is excellent!!! Well written and accurate BUT without trying to offend the author Victor Sanchez, it bothers me very much his âthe Spiritâ expression. The article âtheâ makes âSpiritâ a noun; like the tree, the house, the weather. Spirit is not a thing; Spirit is a BEING, a Verb, the Energy, the Action!!! So to me, Mr. Sanchez, in the next edition of his book, should just write âSpiritâ and not âthe Spirit.â Thank you Mr. Sanchez for this book.

A REALITY THAT SEEMS HIDDEN

Victor obviously keep close to his root. His accounts in this book is well articulated. Many readers may not know the import of this book yet but as the Culture called Science unveils more of the reality that we experience daily, they will find themselves scrambling to reread the book again. And again. Readers will then realize that given our mindset in today's world, reality is indeed stranger but a whole lot simpler than fiction.

better stories on the shaman experiences

Victor Sanchez is very knowledgeable about his experiences and interpretations of the type of esoteric practices he has taken part in. But he loses some credibility with his repeated blaming of the 'white man's system of control' and you get the feeling that if you are white and want to approach this knowledge, you are already half sunk because of your race. He comes across with a chip on his shoulder on behalf of the persecuted tribes and cultures. The anger is understandable, but where is the healing if there is this constant blame and anger coming up through your work that is all about connecting with spirit and healing our fractured selves?

Saying that, I have no doubt that for centuries, the persistent and nearly catastrophic persecution of indigenous cultures and peoples by the established church in the name of civilizing them has resulted in almost total suppression of ancient knowledge that is our birthright as a people living on this planet. We have lost that which is most precious - our own true selves and our relationship to the living planet that keeps us and our greater relationship to the whole of existence.. Let's please don't forget that even whites have suffered under the established control seized by churches along with governments.

Also don't forget that before the church took over, that shamanism was practiced throughout Europe until it was made illegal and inaccessible to most people through threat of death.

Not for everyone.

I'm very glad this was recorded. But I can only recommend it to those who are already familiar with the print version and the author. It's hard to express just how pompous and bombastic Waite is, but the reader does a fantastic job of bringing this incredibly tedious text to life.

If you are looking for a introductory text on the Tarot, it's best to skip this one. If you are familiar with the author and others of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, then this can be an amusing listen.

If you find the author self-important and annoying, you are in good company: people have felt that way about Waite for more a century.

Labyrinthine language, not worth the time!

Mr.Edward Arthur Waite was co-creator of this very popular, perhaps the most popular, Tarot deck, yet I wouldn't have paid cent to listen to him speak live, were I to be transported back in time. The use of language in this book is so obfuscating, indeterminate and labyrinthine that I cannot really say it is worth one listen-though I did that-let alone a second listen. Alec Sand's reading here is eerie to say the least, but the book itself is the problem....and the book is very, very weird.

I can't say what type of person would like it more. That's beyond my ken.

Pictorial Education

This book is very detailed. If you are not a detailed person, do not get this book. I enjoyed how Arthur Waite goes through the history of the tarot cards and including its myths and legends as well.

It is amazing the how the tarot card's pictures developed over the years. If you are wanting a better understanding of the tarot card's and the meaning of each this is a great book.

Alec Sand did an excellent job with narration.

Great Book if you know the Rider- Waite Deck

Wanted to make sure that people know this is a great audio companion to the book of the same name by Arthur Edward Waite who helpd create the Rider- Waite Tarot Deck. The descrptions are great it would be best to listened to with the deck. Otherwise this audio book will not make sense to the listener.

It was nice to listen to his throughts of the cards of the Rider- Waite Deck.

Good book. Horrible narration.

Author on a hate and diss mission against individuals such as Chopra. Wish I hadn't purchased this mess.

Anything thats truly real can stand up to scrutiny

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The author tends to paraphrase Dawkins statements in his own words for example he doesn't really say Religious Education is tantamount to 'Child abuse' per se (he actually recommends knowing the King James Bible) - he actually says telling children hell exists is disgraceful & goes on to cite examples of real psychological damage this can cause as a result. The author could have cut & pasted exactly what he'd said in The God Delusion rather than paraphrase him & over simply what he actually said. Because Dawkins has a proper job & Chopra doesn't the author was only capable of getting interviews with Deepak. Why would Dawkins want to engage with someone writing about Chopra? For the same reasons Dawkins refuses to debate creationists: if he did it would give a false impression that there are two sides to the story & doing so would be like a debate between a globalist & a 'flat earther.' The author certainly snatched a few sound bytes from other sources like Professor Krauss & Professor Dan Dennett but these were rather brief & he could have simply related content from YouTube where Sam Harris (the American Richard Dawkins in many senses) cuts through Chopra's use of 'Quantum' mumbo jumbo presented as profound insights into the human condition. They aren't remotely profound because if he could prove even one of his claims he would be famous for TRUELY explaining a mystery. Chopra doesn't generally use words like 'perhaps' or 'maybe' with regard to his claims, he presents his opinions as if they are known facts when they are anything but that.

Would you listen to God Speaks Again again? Why?

I enjoyed this book and will recommend it to anyone who wants to know about the Baha'i history and Baha'i point of view.

It was a must heard audio book

If you're interested in intellectuality, spirituality, science, history, new world order, positive connection of religions, unity and the investigation of the truth, you are in a right place. Listen to "God Speaks Again".

I do not consider this book as a mere religious book. I found NO superstitious belief or story in it.

Not an introduction but just sad history :(

I really wanted to learn about this religion but instead the book just lists over and over again all the persecution suffered by the followers. I wanted to learn the teaching and beliefs not hear an account of their persecution. So mad I purchased this and listened to the whole book without gaining any of the information or introduction to the faith.
