A Great Book to Start Exercising the Subtle Senses
This book is a quick read, but it is very informative. It cuts straight to the point and you can start practicing the techniques immediately. You can read it in one sitting, but there is so much to ponder that it takes some time to digest each bit of knowledge you receive.
If you have any interest in fine-tuning your 6th sense, "inner voice" or intuition, this is a great book for doing so. The book takes it a step further than that and focuses on communicating with your own "guardian angel" and "angels" in general. I found this book after reading Out-of-Body Experiences by Robert Peterson, in which the author states that he started "hearing" a voice that was gently guiding him throughout his day. He identifies the voice as his "higher-self." I wanted to see if I could replicate this.
What Angelspeake did for me was help me realize that I'd been communicating with other entities for a long time (my own higher-self and an angel named David). But because it's not something encouraged in our society I thought I was just talking to myself.
The book teaches a basic technique of writing in order to communicate, but through practice you will be able to have relatively clear conversations, either verbally or in your head, without the need to write.
The book does a great job of answering questions that will arise. And the best thing it did for me was to help me realize and trust that the messages coming to me were originating from outside myself. The communication is subtle and you may go through a period where you think you're going nuts. But the messages are consistent and get clearer over time. It's like exercising a muscle and takes time to strengthen, so in the beginning it feels a little vague and confusing.
Regardless of what you want to accomplish, Angelspeake is a great stepping stone toward understanding and enhancing your subtle senses.
I give this book away to people I meet
I have purchased three copies of this book because I keep being led to give it away to people. It is a wonderful resource and how I first started hearing my own guardian angel and then others.
It is approachable. Anyone can do it and the authors describe the method in plain terms. It doesn't matter if you have any religious affiliation or not to use this book. There were also examples from the authors' classes of how their students used the method and they were very motivational.
I recommend this book for the beginner to start hearing and communicating with your angel. It's a little book but so powerful!
Life changing!
It has been rare that I've been so moved, so quickened by such a simple message. Perhaps I have been overcomplicating my life for 50 years! This simple volume, unabashedly written by two sisters, has literally caused me to rethink how I relate to God! Who would have thought. I have been a psychotherapist for 20 years, and a Christian for 40.
