Just a step away from 5 stars

Yes!!!! I loved this book so very very much and it pains me to not be able to give all the 5 stars it could deserve! I was contacted by the author to review the audiobook version of Frostbitten and what a lucky e-mail that was. Because I have discovered another series I enjoy. So thank you very much Heather for providing a copy of this book, in audio format.

Now, seeing that this is the first book in a series which will only become more complicated, or so I presume, Frostbitten familiarizes us with the place where all the action happens and that is Ceder Falls, a small town where snow and cold rule. Anastasia is looking forward for a new beginning with her grandparents, hoping to connect to her new classmates and reconnect with her childhood best friend. But Ceder Falls has secrets that few are willing to understand and accept.

Our main characters connect instantly, not necessarily from a romantic point of view, but they are alike in some ways as well. Anastasias plan to start fresh at school is quickly ruined when her classmates start spreading lies about her. So she becomes somehow isolated and blamed, same as Frost. Frost is a mystery to most and people fear the unknown. The innocence in their relationship is so beautiful, they are strong separately and stronger together. She is his link to humanity, he is her anchor when nobody trusts her.

Regardless of how much I liked the story and how well it kept me listening to the end, I must admit there are some scenes which I could not understand completely. One that comes to mind is Anastasias dream of a mean werewolf. I cannot connect it to the story (cannot detail because of spoilers but Ill do it in the comments if you ask me to). And I wanted a more explosive ending. I wanted to scream in pain that it ended (I did do that)! Even if we do have a cliff hanger, I wanted well A CLIFF HANGER!

I liked Angela Rose Masis voice. She is gentle and sweet and strong when need be. The narration is amazing to say the least. She managed to change her voice very well and provided a unique interpretation to all characters in the book, be those main, secondary or even characters that appear in very few scenes.

All in all, I loved Frostbitten and I do wish Heather Beck will delight us with the next book in the series soon. This series shows promise of becoming great, as the end of book one offered several twists. Till next one is out, have fun reading/listening to Frostbitten. Happy Reading!

A few years later he finally gets some!

This book, along with the previous one about Andres, was one I had been waiting for for a while now. I rather liked it and thought it fit the idea I had about Tommaso from when I first met him in Accidentally in Love with aâgod? I really liked how everything, good and bad, was thrown out in this book to give the reader a good idea about what kind of person he was. I donât remember hearing too much about his family in previous books so that is one thing I rather liked to have heard about. The only thing is that â I didnât really like Charlotte that much. I get the paranoia and feel for her about how her mom â was just batpoop crazy. The revelations about her family, I already knew about Sadie, were just great. I mean who thinks about an incubus named Chuck â seriously?

The arrogance was a bit over the top, but if I remember right he was like this when we met him. It was just we got to see a lot more of him so it was too much for me at times. This is where being blind and not having to see to read comes in handy â I can be constantly rolling my eyes and still follow along with the story.

I still really enjoyed this book as Iâve enjoyed all of the other books that are connected to each other and easily see myself reading it again.

Great author, bad ending. Warning: spoiler

I love this author and all of her other books, but the end of this one angered me. After the heroine faces her biggest fears and travels to a different country to save the hero (after being told what a jerk she is) her hero tries to kill her and another woman she's never met confesses her love to him to save him. Then instead of pouring his heart out and trying to make it up to her, he talks to everyone else about his feeling except her. After the heroine tells him off she gets ganged up on again by his friends telling her she's the jerk. Which wouldn't be so bad, except then she feels guilty and goes to make things right with him, and he's a jerk. If this is the way the hero is going to act, the heroine should have just kicked his butt at the end. He didn't earn forgiveness and was completely immature.

I will never get enough of these characters!

Turned by a Tiger is oh so good, I absolutely loved Talon and Sherry's story. Talon is a tiger shifter and after escaping Archangel he finds himself at the nightclub Underworld. He is broken, scared and needs to heal but what he finds there will change his life. Sherry is human and has been a bartender for years at Underworld, Kyter is like a brother to her and he takes his role very seriously, so when Talon shows up Kyter wants to fight him but something demands Sherry to save Talon.

Talon has his demons to vanquish, he has secrets that cannot be exposed to the shifter community but he also has a mate he needs to claim.

Turned by a Tiger is a sexy fun story to read, this is another great addition to the Eternal mates series. Some of my favorite characters from previous stories in this series take part in this story. Talon and Sherry have become one of my favorite couples in this series and I cannot wait to read the next story in this series.

Secrets and Twists!

Princess Naya is destined to be the next Vampire Queen and her parents the King and Queen are in the midst of arranging a marriage for her. When she needs a break from her life she chooses to spend time with her human friend Kenzie. They end up going to a nightclub and that is where she meets Vaughn.

From the moment Vaughn sees Naya he knows that he must have her. What was supposed to be a one night stand soon became much more. The both have secrets that when revealed will change life as they know it.

I enjoyed both Vaughn and Naya as well as the secondary characters. Although they shouldnt be together the bond between them is too strong to be denied. I enjoyed the narrator as she did a great job of bringing the story to life. I voluntarily reviewed a Complimentary Copy of the audiobook.

I couldnt stop listening

This is the first book by R. L. Kenderson that I have read and it will not be the last.. I couldnt help but fall in love with Naya and Vaughn from the very beginning.. This series is definitely worth the time to read.

Vampire story with a twist

Really liked this take on a vampire royal. The story is strong and I can see the author taking this further. The secondary characters kind of got in the way for me, but they were integral. The main characters were engaging and well done.

The secondary characters almost steal the show.

I haven't laughed this much since reading Patrick McManus. The zombies are wonderfully funny, the heroine adorable, and that Sebastian? Impressive! Ysabelle is adorable and I love her business. Her sidekicks and other characters are really fun. Very cool idea all around. I had a great time reading this story and have found a new author to love.

Not her best.

Katie MacAlister is one of my favorite authors. Her books are almost always funny easy reads. The beginning of this book was a bit confusing and the characters were less appealing than the other characters that she has created. It was not a bad story but definitely not as good as what I'm use to reading from Ms. MacAlister.

loved this book

What can I say but wow. I had this book sitting in my kindle and didnt read it till last night and let me tell you I did NOT put it down. I just love the Dark Ones I have all the books I just dont know why it took me so long to get to this one .. It made me laugh its fast paced and a total great read . So if you want a fun, fast, awesome book with Demon Lords, Imps and Zombies hahaha Oh cant forget the Ghost then get this book you wont regret it <3 My Only regret was it was over too soon.

The book did not hold my attention.

I was just not able to get into this book. The book did not seem to keep my attention. It is difficult when you only have such a short and inconclusive segment. I do not really remember the narrator, so I guess my impression was neither positive or negative.

Very Hot

This paranormal reverse harem book is really good. I recommend it to anyone who likes hot steamy stories! The narrator does a wonderful job!

Fast listen but you'll fall head over heels!

I wasn't expecting this to be so short. I read the preview and had to read it! This is a story of a Vampire Princess who must choose her king out of 4 human men. A whole lot easier said than done. Each one has something you love about them and although this is such a quick part one you get to know each one pretty well! Its a great starter to this series.

Lacy Laurel did a fantastic job reading this!! Her voice is perfect for the setting and pace of this book. I can't wait to hear more works by her.

Intriguing

A vampire princess must choose between 4 men, all the while experiencing human qualities for the first time. It kept me intrigued and wanting to continue on with the story. I sorta have a favorite, but I agree that it would be hard to choose.

This cover is what attracted me to the series!! I love Pegasi and Unicorns!!

This is the 2nd book in the series. I highly recommend reading the whole series! It is too good to miss either book. It is still for adults only due to the steamy content. This one is longer than the first book, but still under 150 pages. It went fast when I was reading it.

This book was hysterical! Chase kept cracking me up! I really love this Pegasus! Connie is definitely a strong woman with what she must put up with from her dad and Chase. There is a ton of action in this book as well as intrigue, but I donât want to give anything away! I really love this world that Zoe Chant has created, and I hope there is more soon because I have my suspicions about Hugh and want to see if Iâm right!!

Zoe Chant is fast becoming an author to be added to my favorites list :) I canât wait to see what she cooks up next and get through the pile of her books I already own!

I highly recommend this series to all the shifter lovers out there who are into mythical creatures!!

Sensual, erotic, sex, fantasy and magic! OMG! WOW!

Totally surprised but I fell in love with this book although I've never read romance... However, after listening to several chapters posted to her Patron feed, I was HOOKED and as soon as Audible got it, I grabbed it!

I've read/listened to all of Abby's fantasy books as she is an amazing author, creates an ongoing and ever expanding captivating world with characters I've come to love. I'm NEVER disappointed, except for waiting for the next book...

Having never read an erotic sex laden book before and had dismissed this new adventure of hers but oh my! Was I in for a surprise! This journey she is creating is a non stop BLAST! And wow does she do sex well! And Magic... And plot... And characters!

I can see her rapidly becoming a a rising star in this genre and her ability to add her fantasy magical chops is huge!

The ultimate high five was finding myself already aching for the next book to show up when I was only part way through the fourth chapter!

I guess if this is what you are looking for...

It wasnt my cup of tea if you like erotic fiction you will like it....just didnt keep my interest

Very impressed with this story.

I started into this audiobook knowing very little what to expect. The only thing I knew for sure was that it would be a romance novel.... an erotic romance novel! I knew the author was an excellent storyteller. And, I was soon to discover that it was not only a steamy novel, but, the storyline would drag me in wholeheartedly as well! This was a very good listen. The fantasy part of the story is excellent. I am a HUGE fantasy fan. And, this book did not disappoint. There were a lot of new goodies in this book that I have not seen (read) before in any other story. Then, the erotic part was just the cherry on top!

The narration was flawless. Lauren Harris did an excellent job with drawing me into the story and and had me forgetting that I was listening to someone. She did all the different voices for the characters very well. I always knew who was talking or thinking. And she did a superb job displaying emotions of the characters....and there were a lot of emotions. So, well done there! The combination of great story weaving and fantastic reading performance was awesome.

I truly enjoyed this book. I was so into it, that I was sad when I discovered it was almost over.

Loved this book...hated to see it end

I loved Liam and Jaden's relationship before Emma joined the two men. After she joined it got even better. I loved the protective mode that the men got into when they felt that Emma's safety was in jeopardy and how they banded together to be a family. I loved the ending but it was a little anti-climatic, it needed a little more suspense when the guy enters the diner but all in all this a very good read and I HATED to see it end. I would like to know what happened to them when they left the woods and went back to their "normal" lives.

Can't wait to read more from Ms Jameson!

Not my cup of tea, couldnt finish it. I love her other m/f/m books but just couldn't do this one too much m/m for my taste

Not for the faint of heart. If you don't like MFM don't read this book. Well written romance & suspense. Strong female role.

Not what I expected. . .

This book could have been a lot better. The plot was good, but it really left me lacking any intrest. I think the author could have done a lot better with the story line. It has a lot of potential but it didn't live up to what it could have. I probably wont buy one of her books again.

1 Damsel in Distress and 2 Hunky Heroes

This was a really good read. Even with the M/M and then M/F/M it worked well. The book started really strong and finished with action and in between was the loving. It was a fun read and I really enjoyed the book immensely. I will be looking for more Becca Jameson books in the future.
