AWESOME!!!!

I LOVE Keary Taylor!!!! I LOVED this book! Her writing is just so good and it holds your interest the entire time! Some books I've read can be a little slow, but she jumped right into the action and got you involved in the story. She has made me care about the characters and what happens to them. When I wasn't reading this book, I was thinking about reading this book. It was so good it only took me one day to finish.

So Much Drama!! So Many Secrets!!

I received this ARC of HOUSE OF JUDGES from the author, Keary Taylor, in exchange for an honest review.

The minute I receive her books, I sit down like a glutton and devour every word. ***Caution, FEW SPOILERS*** With this book, HOUSE OF JUDGES, she takes us deep into the Born Royal world of King Cyrusâ making at Roter Himmel (trans: Red Heaven). A fitting name for what goes on there.

Alivia is cast into prison, for her pending trial for her attempted murder of King Cyrus himself. Accused, she awaits her trial period in the dungeons of Roter Himmel. âDungeonsâ is every bit as daunting and sinister as it sounds. Equipped for torture for her particular ârace,â Alivia learns just how cruel and degrading King Cyrus can really be.

Without delving into the cesspool of King Cyrusâ mind and dungeon, suffice it to say that Alivia is punished severely, and her spirit shattered while in anticipation of her trial. Whether or not she is found guilty or innocent, the penance she has payed forward will haunt her. She does however, find that Ian is imprisoned along with a few others in her cell-block.

The members of her House are collected and brought forth as witnesses in her trial; lies and betrayal are familiar bedfellows to our poor Alivia. Will her House Members stand with Alivia or against her? Has she any allies in the court? Will life resume for her at Silent Bend? Are the answers she gains only to become questions later? Does our Keary love cliffhangers? The answer to the last question is yesâand what a cliffhanger!

This is not a stand-alone, but book four in this series.House of Judges (House of Royals) (Volume 4)

No words

This is a roller coaster ride.... when I think I know what's going to happen next Kearny goes and takes me on another adventure... I started with book 1 about 5 days ago... I just purchased book 5.... Do I want it to end?

I will find out

Wow...

This series just keeps getting better and better. Alicia goes through so much in this book it's impossible to describe it all. Suffice to say, her time at the king's court will change her forever. But, I was very excited by the ending of this book. I think I'll start the next one right now!

Devour

That is what I am doing to this series. In three days I am on book five.

one of the best ones yet!

I have read or listened to the entire series and i believe this to be the best yet.

GGreatttttt book....

I been in love with this series since I read Lone Wolf ( Elizon and Marias book that was the first i read) thats when i got all the series. its that good.

And this book didn't disappoint its such intrigue of worlds, thoughts and personalities that make such amazing book.

I also like the fact that theres people from other books ( Dylan, Connor and Ben are my favorites, I was screaming in my car " YES BENNN..,"when i hear the narrator talk about a situation and the introduction of ben in the dialogue) i hate when in a series readers complain about having past characters in the new books, i guess this people dont have family or the same group of friends for long in theres lifes.

Highly recommended really good.

Awesome!

Great series. I love Jennifer Ashley's writing. A wonderful shifter story line with interesting characters in love and action.

I've listened and read all this series

Where does Red Wolf rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?

hard to pick I've listened to so many. But I do love this author and this series.

Which character as performed by Cris Dukehart was your favorite?

Dimitri, because he had a speech impediment and that couldn't have been easy to do.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes

Great story!

Great story as this series continues. I love this series, and look forward to the next story.

Title: The Scarlet Thread

Subtitle: The Fated Destruction

Author: Derek Murphy

Narrator: Austenne Grey

Format: Unabridged

Length: 5 hrs and 45 mins

Language: English

Release date: 04-21-17

Publisher: Urban Epics

Ratings: 4 of 5 out of 23 votes

Genres: Romance, Paranormal

Publisher's Summary:

My name is Kaidance Monroe, and sometimes when I touch people, I see how they die.

After I saw my little brother's death but failed to stop it, my parents abandoned me to a juvenile detention facility. I don't let people touch me anymore. Not my fingertips, not my skin, not my heart.

Just before I turned 18, I got a visit from a cute guy, who tricked me into giving up my secrets. He said I was special, but he wasn't the only one searching for me. I barely escaped with my life. Now I'm in a mansion, learning how to control my abilities - abilities so powerful, even the gods are jealous. I didn't mean to make anyone fall for me. Certainly not my would-be killer. And I never imagined how far he would fall.

The Scarlet Thread is a dark fantasy romance for fans of Greek mythology and Gothic romance. Fans of Fallen and Percy Jackson will be captivated by this mashup of fallen angels and forgotten gods.

This is Book One in the Fated Destruction series.

This is a "slow burn" dark fantasy romance - relationships are being formed, but won't heat up until book two. You'll have to keep listening to see whether Kaidance ends up with Puriel, the smoldering fallen angel who tried to kill her, or Sitri, her mysterious brooding savior.

I went on to the second book!

I actually had to slow down the speaking in this book, which I know some people listen to them sped up, so I feel this is a great quality to have! it's hard for me to read ya greek mythology books. I liked this story a lot and the take it has on mythology. As soon as this was done I dl the second one! it's a great listen so I bet it is a great read!

Great writing, mediocre reading.

Definitely not my style of story, but I thoroughly enjoy Derek Murphy's instructional videos on YouTube and I wanted to see how well he backed up his advice. If he has any true horror novels, I'll be all over them.

Austenne Grey has a tendency to over-enunciate horribly, especially when voicing non-human characters in the book. After a while, it became quite distracting for me. I don't have much experience with audio books, however, so please take my review of the audio portion lightly.

Awesome Series Starter!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and Austenne Grey did an Amazing job as narrator!! The book ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger but that was not all surprising since that is common with series. I am excited to see where the next book takes us.

Length: 3 hrs and 10 mins

Language: English

Release date: 04-18-17

Publisher: Dakota Cassidy

Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 80 votes

Genres: Romance, Paranormal

Publisher's Summary:

Bad Case of Loving You, book five in the Wolf Mates series by USA Today best-selling paranormal romance author Dakota Cassidy, is here.

Return to Cedar Glen, home to a laugh-out-loud cast of characters including Crosby Nash, a werewolf with amnesia! Love is in the air. Or is it, as Cedar Glens resident psychiatric nurse struggles to discover the cause and cure her patient.

Werewolf Ella Stills has just one question: What exactly does it take to leave one's life mate? Particularly when said life mate is a stubborn, stupid-headed, liar-liar-pants-on-fire cheater?

Apparently the answer is...amnesia. Not hers. His.

Crosby Nash, Mr. Hotshot Super-fine Lycan Lawyer, has gone and gotten himself conked on the head. Not only does he no longer remember Ella, their recent separation, or his dastardly cheatin' heart - Crosby doesn't even remember that he's a werewolf. A psychiatric nurse by trade, Ella jumps at the pack's offer of a divorce if she aids Crosby in his rehabilitation. Once his memory returns, she'll be free.

But Ella didn't count on Crosby's lost memory turning him back into the man she fell in love with...the one she can't resist. And when it becomes clear the pack needs Crosby to regain his memory for a reason - a reason curiously related to the woman he may have cheated with - it's a mystery Ella can't resist.

Though she'll probably wish she had....

This paranormal romantic comedy contains humor, shifters, werewolves, and LOL fun. Bad Case of Loving You is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Not the best

I have read all the books in this series and have enjoyed all. But this one was not very good. None of the main characters were included and the story was off.

God read as usual

I would have given this more stars except for two things. I'm usually not very good at figuring out things. I just read the story and find out when the big surprise is revealed at the end, but I knew immediately who the Twitter pal was. It was obvious. Also, this book is not nearly as long as you might believe. On my Kindle app, only 60% of this is the novel the rest is excerpts from other books. I found that a little bit annoying.

Good series! Fun read!

I enjoyed the series . Fun and definitely enjoyed the characters in the stories. Looking forward to the next one!

Five Stars

Her books are fun reads (or listen if you are an audible listener.)

But with a powerful conspiracy determined to shut Eve up for good, there's no time to argue. All they can do is trust their instincts - and their hearts. Contains mature themes.

Critic Reviews:

"Eden has another winner with this book! Burn for Me features an inspired, masterful take on uncommon mythological characters placed in contemporary society." (RT Book Reviews)

:(

Great story, but recommend reading - not listening. The narrator's extreme overuse of dramatic pause became so irritating I had to make myself finish. Will NOT be buying the audio version of the rest of the series after discovering the same narrator did the other two books also.

Fan yourself good time

Holy how this is a tantalizing book! Plug in some headphones stay home and hunker down because it is an enjoyable listen.

Good book

My first Cynthia eden and although the book was good, with some interesting twists and turns....after awhile the sexual relationship became tiresome - as though the author thought she had to depend on that too much. Wasn't necessary. We got the idea early on so repeated hot and heavy sex became redundant.

Critic Reviews:

"A grand mix of romance and suspense with extra appeal for dog lovers and fans of paranormal themes." (Booklist)

Members Reviews:

this is one of the best in series!

I love all the SWAT men in this series... And they are good men... great even. The stories are fun! Action packed, full on romance, steamy smexy scenes, good back stories for characters, good drama/action and a full of fun story line. I enjo6y these stories. But they aren't in depth kristen ashley stories. Lol... But really good just the same. the narrator Abby Craden did amazing! No frog voice like some reviewer said. She was perfect! And perfect for this series. give it a try, it's totally worth it! if you like action/drama/mystery/some comedy/ sexy sexy time/ suspense and a HEA... this is perfect for you!!

Talk about a hot read!

4.5*s

I have to say, I love his story. I also love me some, Lacey! Girlfriend is a serious bad mamajama when she needs to be. Alex is the right fit for her, too. Hot SWAT officer and the hot little veterinarian. It's so obvious, yet they had a hard time getting to that point. Silly people.

I loved the balance of craziness, and action. The SWAT team's involvement in an illegal dog fighting ring, sided with an illegal drug dealing scheme and kidnapping ring.... talk about mind blowing craziness.

Alex and his team are on a mission alongside he narcotics team to take a new drug called fireball, off the streets. Lacey is a local vet who is on call 24/7 in the case she is needed to see to an injured dog. Her friend Wendy who is an officer on this team of animal crusaders gets her into a few sticky situations, which I turn gives Lacey plenty of room to get herself into all kinds of trouble.

Thankfully, Alex and his team are there to back her up. Not only will they do all they can to help her in a time of need, but Alex will make sure she is safe and out of harms way, by any means necessary.

Good Title as is

Alex watched many of his packmates and swat team members find their One. With his lack of control over his wolf, he doubts he'll ever find her. That is until he meets the fill in Vet. Lacy has all her time tied up in work, her college-age sister and her volunteer work. Doesn't stop her from looking.

Eventually, their connection to some cases involving dog fights, drugs, and missing girls brings them together enough that she can't resist. She doesn't know his secret. Will she be able to accept him? The subject takes a back seat when her sister is missing. How high will the cost be to get her back? If he can.

The team remains committed to the pack regardless of orders from the outside. The comradery is true and fun to watch. Another winner from Ms. Tyler.

A darkly magical coming of age story

The Chronicles of Kerrigan Prequel series is a darkly magical coming of age series which includes romance and violence. The story starts a little slow and the box set ends in a cliffhanger (there are more books in the series), but overall this is a good set of books. I would have picked a male narrator since the central character is male, but the narrator still does a nice job.

I received this box set as a gift. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Great Read

Any additional comments?

The Chronicles of Kerrigan Prequel Series by W.J. May was a great book. This book included books one through three of the prequel series. This followed Simon as he gains his tattoo and his powers. I enjoyed reading why everyone feared the Kerrigan name. I can't wait to read more by W.J. May.

Great introduction to this series!

This was my first book by this author and I loved it. The story with its twists and turns kept me intrigued until the very end. Now I need to get the rest of series!

The narrator did a wonderful job with all of the characters in the story! I definitely want to listen to more of her work.

I'm hooked... Again!!

Where does The Chronicles of Kerrigan Prequel Series, Books 1-3 rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?

Pretty high I love a book that you cant stop listening to and just want more!!!

What other book might you compare The Chronicles of Kerrigan Prequel Series, Books 1-3 to and why?

All the Kerrigan books are a cross between Harry Potter and Vampire Diaries, starts in a school, people getting gifted with skills teachers guiding them, but twisted and intriguing like vampire diary's

Which scene was your favorite?

The Fight between Tristan and Simon

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Who knew a Tattoo could bring so much power!

Any additional comments?

Its a great book for anyone who loves a bit of fantasy and likes a series that just keeps on giving!! Give me more!!!

Awesome

Love this giving us the dirt on Simon, not only his beginnings but his beginnings with Beth. I love the audio and completely enjoyed the story. The author gives us a touching and emotional replay bringing us closer to this wonderful cast of characters. A story that will appeal to all ages with plenty of excitement and intrigue and oh yes action. Love this author and the world she is making us a member of, mysterious and magical!!

Not Really Irish

I'm not really onto cliff-hanger series, but this one has me chomping assert the bit for three next book. just please, teach your narrators how to pronounce Cinaed.

Truly Magical

I was totally drawn in and enthralled by this mesmerizing story. The climatic ups and downs of the story kept me on edge the whole time, yet completely satisfied with the outcome.

Truly magical.

Weak self pitying dragon

Don't bother this book was predictable and the dragon weak. So busy with self pity that he gets everyone in physical trouble. Really ridiculous

Amazing

What an amazing second book for Lucian and Arabella. Trial of love, mating that could possibly kill, determination and sacrifice. The audio book along with the book is awesome. Wonderful emotion.
