HIS SOAPY BALLS

IT HURT JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT

With out coming right out and saying it, we are lead to believe that Angel, who is a clone, was made from DNA from Angelina Jolie. She is a bit naïve about some things, but not sex. She also likes pain.

THE JOY OF MY PAIN

Earth has lost a war with a Cat like alien race. This race wants slaves. Scientist on a space station, make clones, so the CATS will leave Earth alone. There is actually some science in this, as well as science fiction, but it is mostly porn.

HE WAS SO LARGE, HE SIMPLY COULD NOT FIT INTO ME WITHOUT LUBRICATION.

The above statement only applies to sex partner number one. The CATS are built similar to humans, only with much larger packages. There is plenty of action in here to make both genders happy. The sex is hot.

IF YOU CAN'T MASTER YOURSELF, SOMEONE ELSE WILL

I liked it and will continue the series.

Sexy Sci Fi My first Space Opera

Angel 6.0 is a hot short story that sets up for the beginning of a good series. I am intrigued with Angel and her abilities. The sex is hot and The narration is so good I could see her battling the Cat warriors, I could feel her thoughts. Great story and I can't wait for more.

Love Angel!!

I love this book! This is a story that is so well told about an alien race of giant cats and creation Angel that the captain wants.

Angel is to stay hidden from the cats but when they arrive early she is seen and they want her.

Angel hides but the cats are determined.

The narrator brings this fantastic book to life and I can't wait to hear the next book!

Interesting story, weirdly narrated.

I really enjoyed the premise of the story, it was interesting. The narrator was kind of strange, I'm not sure I liked it. Kind of staccato with her words, sort of like a robot trying to disguise itself as human? It kind of worked for the story seeing as she's a clone though.

Hooked from the 1st chapter

What made the experience of listening to Alex the most enjoyable?

Troy brings the characters to life with his narration, his voice is amazing no matter the gender or ethnicity of the character. I forget that it's only him narrating throughout the story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Alex?

Even though it's Alex's story, I love watching the relationship between Harley and Kelsey.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Kelsey remembers what happened, it feels like you're right there with her. It's heart-wrenching and you just want to hug her through the pages of the book.

Any additional comments?

This story keeps you on your toes the entire time. You're kept wondering what happened to Kelsey's children, and what her husband is truly capable of. It's amazing journey to go on with the characters, and it gets you hooked for the rest of the series!

Great romantic suspense

This was a well narrated and entertaining audiobook, with the story of 2 people who experience the worst losses imaginable and find each other by accident. I highly recommend this first book in a series!

Great start of a series

Okay, I didn't start Irish Winters' sniper series from the beginning. That truly shows the fact that the books are stand alone and can be read in any order.

After reading the blurb, I decided to hold off on ALEX as it warned the reader about the sensitive topic of wife abuse and I didn't want to get a heavy emotional book.

When I did go back and read ALEX, I got the gut wrenching emotions but I also got more incite into what made Alex develop as a strong character for this series.

Alex was my first audio book and I know I will collect the whole series on kindle and audio versions.

The narrator is very good and makes the story come to life. I admit th as t I've listened to Alex more than once.

Emotional & Heart-wrenching!

This is an emotional and heart wrenching story that will stay with me for a while. I cried tears of sorrow and joy and fell in love with not only two special people, but also with two amazing dogs! Alex and Kelsey are both grieving from tragic loses and both endure unbelievably difficult experiences before they can finally accept love. Be prepared for an emotional ride you won't soon forget. I enjoyed this emotionally packed story.

Troy Duran does a wonderful job narrating and brings the story to life.

I look forward to the next book in this series.

A good read.

When Remys sister is murdered by outsiders, or so they are told, she is devastated. When questions arise about it her family abandon the sector and join the resistance. She left everything behind including her boyfriend Valerian.

Years later and Valerian is now leading the hunt to stop the resistance. He has no idea why Remy left and still thinks of her. He knows he has to stop the resistance no matter what, even if Remy is involved. When he is told some hard truths he has to find evidence and what he finds shocks him to the core. His life is not what he thinks and now he has to take drastic action.

When I first saw the cover of this I thought aliens. After reading the blurb though I knew it would be something Id enjoy and enjoy it I did.

I loved Remys character. She is strong, determined and loyal. She often goes out on raids and is well able to look after herself. When she lost her sister it devastated her but when she learned the truth she knew she had to go. Her life before was amazing but now she has to fight for survival. Everyday is a battle for food and answers.

Vale was an awesome character too even though he was the "bad" guy. He has been brought up to believe what the sector says but when he learns what cost is involved he chooses his own path. He is smart, strong and loyal.

When I heard that this was written by a mother/daughter team I was a bit hesitant to read it because I wasn't sure how well 3 people voices would come together. I needn't have worried though because the book was seamless. Not once did it feel like I was reading something 3 people wrote.

The only downside to The Sowing was the science and genetics part. Most of it went over my head. I understood only some and skimmed alot of the big words!!! I still found it fascinating though. The idea that the sector controls everything and genetically modifies food for each person was something you could imagine.

Overall The Sowing was awesome. The plot was well paced and fast enough. The story was complex and gripping and the characters were all well developed. I flew through the book and didn't want it to end.

Five Stars

A great book hard to put down

Four stars

This book delves deeper into the Norse and Druidic myths surrounding northern Europe and the British Isles - and flies them to the stars. Hell and the afterlife, non-corporeal life forms, racism rearing its ugly head and a fascinating Celtic wedding ceremony as circumstances take them back to the brink of war once more.

On the whole, this story is happier than the second book in the series, Shades of Moloch, and some of that happiness does come Brigit's way, fortunately. Now, I don't do spoilers, so I can't say what shape it takes...simply that it does take shape.

The fate of the Fomorians and Tirnogians (and all their allies) takes an unexpected turn in this book, and I'll be interested to see how the plot pans out in what I anticipate will be the next book in the series.

here we go

First off, a big pet peeve of mine, authors horrible leaps in logic. Forcing characters to act extremely stupidly just to further the plot. Something that makes it worse is that nearly everyone involved is supposedly a genius and somehow they act semi impaired.

Secondly the personalities. These are 15 and 16 year olds. I could see them being somewhat immature but not to the extreme that they were portrayed. They seemed more like 13 year olds. Nadia is the only one that acted anywhere near her supposed age. Along with this, the audio narrator seemed to think so as well as they barely sounded older than 12. This series held a lot of potential but maybe pushing towards a preteen audience too hard is not the answer.

climax was too long

great book, but almost half of it was the climax scene. it was clear what was going to happen but it was put off repeatedly, or things were re-explained at the beginning of new chapters.

Great ending

Don't bother

Pretty awful writing and nonexistent editing. It was so frustrating to try to read this without submitting edits on nearly every page.

Great Science Fiction/Paranormal Romance

I very much enjoyed this story. There's a lot happening in this book; however, it's not haphazard or too busy. On the contrary -- it was easy to follow and yes there is a paranormal/science fiction aspect to it, so if that's not your thing then move on. But, I especially enjoyed the combination of those things together and I think the author did a good job of not rushing the ending. There was a great combination of love, suspense, danger, and open-minded fiction in the book to make for a really enjoyable read. I would definitely read anything else like this from the author.

Great

this was a great short story I like spiders by the way. liked everything about this story, the narrator did a excellent job he was very good with the female voices. this book was given free for a honest review and unbiased option from the narrator,publisher and or author via audio book boom

Awesome sci-fi short!

Aside from the giant spider in space (I hate spiders), this was a great story. Very creative short and the narrator does a great job with each character.

Amazing listen

Miss Mae delivers a well written story on the SciFi front. From the very start this was just an all around fun novella to listen to. Length of it makes it perfect for being stuck in rush hour traffic and keeping occupied. But you'll be more than occupied, you'll hope you have enough time to finish before you get there. Owen McCuen does an excellent job of voice the individual characters and bringing out the details of each through their very distinct voices. Highly recommend this.

Short scifi

What was one of the most memorable moments of Through a Glass Darkly?

Since this is a short story, it is hard to tell you how good it is without giving away any of the story. I will say that the twist in this book was well thought out and does not disappoint. I listen in one sitting

Definitely Not Their Day

This short story packs a punch. In this future time computer viruses may no longer exist but with a few tweaks viola, never say never. To top it off they also have a spider like alien reeking havoc and that is just the start. It is definitely not your normal run-of-the-mill day for the medical transport ship, Captain Vexen Rheinhard, Remard, and the ship's computer, Della.

Miss Mae gives us a complete space opera with lots of action, intrigue, and a bit of romance. It definitely does not feel like a short story. I swear I was panting part of the way through.

Owen McCuen does wonderful justice to the female and male characters of all varieties in addition to some really cool sound effects. I am definitely a fan.

Would you consider the audio edition of Hathor Legacy to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print version, but the audio edition brings the book into a new dimension as the characters are vocalized as individuals with personalities of their own. To me, this steps a written book up to the next level.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hathor Legacy?

Something that sticks with me throughout the book is the relationship of Nadira and Jonathan. No matter what others tell them, they stand strong. There is romance present, but it's not the center of the story. It's a lovely addition to the story and shows the beautiful connection our couple has. Even though I worry of Nadira and Jonathan's relationship, Nadira and Jonathan are adamant they are together. I'm so glad for this unwavering believe in them. There is so much going on in the world around them that it is nice to see a solid feel between them. They trust in each other and always give each other the open to make their own decision on if they stay or not, but that they both love each other is always there and we know the choice if it needs to be made.

What does Kristin James bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

Kristin, once again, displays why she is one of my favorite voices in narrating stories. She becomes the story and the characters. She starts with emotion in her voice for the opening scene and throughout the book. She easily performs accents to differentiate the woman and men speaking. Each has their own personality in voice, attitude, tone, and presentation. By doing this I can see the character as Kristin's presentation is paired with Deborah's words. This makes it so easy to dive into a new audio book and not get lost.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely! I was drawn to the story by voice and words and wanted to stay with it until I was done.

Any additional comments?

This book ranks among the top of the top. For the story that's written and the depth of the world with a touch of romance, belief in others, action, worry, and the narration. I could go on and on about the written story along with narration here.
