Guilty, Guilty, Guilty PLEASURE!

Enter one badass GML (genetically modified lady), hatched in a lab, with the secret hopes that she would become the next step in the human evolutionary ladder, and humanity's answer to combating the race of technologically and physically superior humanoid cats - the Gran - who are plaguing our existence.

All Angel really wants to do is dance around space in zero gravity and find a man who can fill the hole up, in her lonely, solitary heart, with love - well and maybe fill a few other holes while he's at it... But, instead, she gets passed around from one controlling, manipulative man to the next, treated like property, and way underutilized and underestimated. She spends an awful lot of time with one particular Gran Captain... ummmm... improving interspecies relations - hence the guilty pleasure - wink, wink.

However, Angel is more than just a concubine, and this is the story of how she forces human and alien alike to understand that she does matter - a lot.

This intriguing story plays out over several manageable-length episodes - three so far, but with more on the way (hopefully very soon!).

The characters are three dimensional, the plot is fast paced, tight, and action packed. I just finished reading the third, and most recent, installment in Travis Luedke's Angel 6.0 Series, 'Enslaved', and can't wait to get my fix of the final two episodes (Pursuit & Emissary), and to see how it all turns out for Angel!

This was a great adventure with a girl that I am coming to like more and more. I had thought of Angel as childlike, which she was when this started, but she is maturing the more she is exposed to the world outside of Nugene. I like that the characters are becoming more clearly drawn as things go forward from book to book.

Welcome to 2 A.E

This was a great ending to the series. The band of survivors and their following of trusty animal friends have come full circle. This will give you a satisfying conclusion to the journey to the farm. You will experience a wide range of emotionsfrom sadness to joy and everything in between. We meet new friends and settle old scores with enemies from the past. All 3 previous books have led up to this and there are still surprises that will leave you shocked. Thank you Team Lindsey for this journey and these characters. The narration was actually incredible. Voices stayed consistent for the entire series and no matter emotion, situation or gender of the character the voice was very well preformed. This one was bittersweet for me in the best way as I am sad that the series is over but so excited that it ended the way it did for our survivors. Team Lindsey even leaves some questions unanswered for us and to me, some mystery is good and not knowing is very satisfying. Great job gals and to my fav boys Jack and Coop woof woof arf arf, you will know what I mean :)

Far And Away The Best Series I've Read in Years!

This series was riveting ! I loved the diversity of chsracters, the imaginative plots, and the diabolical twists and turns that kept you guessing throughout each book of the series. Don't miss this series!

I didn't quite expect to enjoy it that much!

Would you consider the audio edition of Betrayal to be better than the print version?

With audible vs print, I would always go with print. However, I think the right narrator can bring the story to life in a way that sometimes defies the imagination and Jeff Hays is that narrator. Book 2 is not yet on audible and I almost hate to continue the story without the audible version. He was THAT good! I thought I had read the information wrong and there were multiple narrators because when chapter one started with the female Synth, I heard a female voice, not someone named Jeff imitating a female voice. I had no issues distinguishing the multiple characters or the tone of the dialog. I think I have a new favorite narrator, as well as author.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that the author didn't make the story predictable. Just when you think you knew what would happen next, there was a twist you didn't expect. The characters were believable...even the synthetic! I could tell that Caleb was kind of a good guy that just couldn't catch a break. I almost wished I could pat him on the back and buy him a drink. And Fran...I was a little leary of her from the beginning with the suspicious passenger, slowly I came around to appreciating what seemed to be loyalty, and ended up hating her because it felt like she betrayed me too. It was like the author makes the reader trust Fran and then WHAM!...she's Fleet. I mean come on! Caleb was going to let his brother die because he blamed him for the Fleet soldiers finding them, when it was Fran all along. As for #1001, the journey to her returned memories was just crazy but I didn't think shold would shoot Caleb...oh, right she didn't...had to restart my heart at that point. Sheesh! a girl can only take so much! Killed by her father and her lover did nothing but watch. Yeah, given the chance, I probably would have done the same...scared the holy hell out of him! LOL!

Which scene was your favorite?

The entire book was my favorite scene! There are some books that help kill some time and then there are those that stay with you. In other words, it was hard to find a good stopping point because I had to know what was happening. Never mind the fact that its a book and, if I just don't turn the page, I won't miss anything; or if I turned the page I could simply turn back. Nooooo...I quickly became obsessed with this story and can't wait to continue the series.

Sci-Fi As It Might Be

The twist was well worth it. No complaints. Voices worked well for the characters. Can't say I loved it.

FANTASTIC ending to this action packed trilogy!!!

In this last action packed ending of the trilogy, the group have to travel farther then they ever thought they would. It seems the Gods are against them at every turn, but more clues are dropped for Echo to figure out. Echo learns how powerful her powers are, but she also at times dont know what or who is real and who isnt. And they still dont know who they can trust and who they cant. They do have a higher power watching over them trying to guide them. But with the loss of 1 of the characters you grow to love, you want even more for the group to win. All the clue pieces come together to help the group survive.

This book just keeps building and building till the end.....So glad I had the chance to read this great series!!!! Cant wait to read more by Nadege Richards!!!

OMG OMG Nadège Richards did it again!

I think everyone should read this trilogy. It had me hooked from page 1! Action. Love. Lies. Tragic moments. Happy moments. It's all in there. It was amazing. I want to say more but if I do I will surely spoil something and I don't want to be that person so.....get this ASAP. If you follow the author then you'll know these books have a BIG future. So don't wait to long before you snag them.

So loving this Trilogy!!! On to book 3!!!!

This series just keeps getting better!! Echo and her group are on the run. While traveling to the house they hope will protect them, Echo sees the little girl again. She chases her and ends up bitten by a snake. Her dreams making her feel like shes losing her mind. Ayden has to suck the poison out and is trying to keep her safe. But he keeps thinking of the boy from the picture. Once they get to the house, they all start to relax. But when Echo awakens and finds herself alone she stumbles onto a lose board in the floor, in there is a key, a part of the map, and a book. The book is full of writing she doesnt understand. But then she is grabbed and lead outside to see everyone has been captured. They are taken to the underground world, where they are all split up. They have to figure out a way out. The King wants to know the future and needs Echo to help Kahl, the boy from the picture, the boy of her dreams. Both Kahl and Echo are seers. And the King is holding not only them but also Echo's mother and sisters. Kahl and the King agree to help the group as long as Echo will scry. But there is something else between Echo and Kahl, at power drawing them together, the craving!!

I cant wait to dive into book 3 and see where this leads. Each book draws you in more and more with each turn of the page!!

I couldn't wait to jump right into this after Burning Bridges. Poor Echo and Ayden are having such a hard time. Nadège Richards did amazing with the direction of this book after the first one!

I don't want to spoil things for you guys but OMG this story has me hooked since the beginning.

I bought the first two at a release party for the third and read them back to back. I have the third so I am GLAD to jump right into that one now. Lol. I'm excited to see where the story goes now.

A Brave New Princess Heroine You'll Be Sure to Love

I started on this book yesterday and picked it back up this afternoon. Oh, I could hardly put it down especially when I got halfway through. This was even better than the first book. Echo is such an amazing character I love her. She reminds me of princess Jasmine and Maximum Ride. Echo isn't some damsel in distress she fights her own battles and fights for her people. Echo is headstrong and believes in doing what is right for her people as a princess. When I was reading some of the fight scenes in here I was totally blown away. I felt like I was sitting right there and watching it all unfold before me.

Love Machines

I love this story. it has love, intrigues, and cyborgs. the story was too short and I want more. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the books in this series.

the file is faulty.. repeats on occasion. but not that bad that you miss anything out.. I don't think I did.

1st in Cyborg series...... Loved it!

Great storyline, which I had read in book format, that was very well narrated. Both POV's were given their own narrator which doesn't always work, but both were at the same pace, similar accents, with good emotional usage. No overdone, blown out of proportion hysterics. Would definitely recommend, however do remember Eve writes HOT books, so be careful who can hear!!

I love this series and am excited that it is on audible. I listened nonstop. My only issue was the flip flopping of the narrators. I like when there is a male and female narrator but not switching chapters. Other than that the pace was steady and exciting. I felt so sorry for Close and Joe. The chemistry between the 2 was great.

Layel's growing love and loyalty to humanity

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

Rise of Silver and Steam is a prequel book to the Alliance of Silver and Steam series written by Lexi Ostrow. The series is a steampunk romance series that centers on demon hunters and their relationships. Some of the romances have to deal with humans and demons, but not all of them. This book centers on three different types of relationships: Seraphina's fall from grace and rise in hell, Layel's growing love and loyalty to humanity, and the marriage of the couple who will start the Alliance.

What I love about this book is that we get to see what made Seraphina fall. I actually love her as a character. She's dark, twisted, and seductive. Lexi Ostrow makes great villains and Seraphina is one I love to know more about. Likewise, I loved learning how the Alliance came to be. Thomas and Audrey are a strong couple and a strong couple would have to be the ones to head a group of demon hunters.

Throughout the book we see Thomas and Audrey's marriage go through hurtles. They are married very early on in the book and it is known that they may not love each other just yet. The marriage is of convienence and mutual respect. Their love is in danger in its infancy, but it is their own personal strength and the strength of them together that keeps them going.

Through all of this, Seraphina is pulling all the punches to destroy mankind.

See why I like this series? Ostrow weaves an interesting and intricate plot within an equally intricate world. Her world is what makes the story that much more interesting. And this book is the conception of her world in the other books of the series.

Now, for a little bit of characterization... Audrey is a strong, quiet woman. She deals with her own problems within herself before voicing them. Despite her own fears, she has the bravery to admit fault where fault is due. Thomas is a passionate man. He is very vocal about his opinions and has no problem setting a person straight; even if that person could imprison him. Layel is an angel who is a bit of both. He is passionate and loyal to his cause, but he tries to fight his own battles internally.

I WETTED FOR HIM

NO MATTER WHERE I WENT ON THIS SHIP, I WAS ALWAYS TAKING MY CLOTHES OFF.

After giving a great review for book one, I have to say the follow up was a major disappointment. The porn scenes seemed rushed and not as well FLESHED out as well as the first installment. TL seems to try and make this either more legit, or he just was rushing through to hit a dead line. The story line was boring and the sex was boring. The rest of the sequels have an extra hour and cost twice as much, so I will not continue the series. Even the reviewers who loved this book, did not spend money on the sequels. At the time of this writing they have no reviews, which makes me question how much they loved this one.

In my review of book one, I mentioned how all the men are very well endowed. In this book, JASON'S BROTHER HAD AN EVEN BIGGER COCK.

A Really Good Story!

This was a great continuation of Angel's story alot of action and a little bit of drama but not too over done. Too bad one of the characters had to die I really had started to like him in the first book but oh well he died for a good cause. And I hope Angel starts to grow more as a person and fully understand what it means to be human. I can't wait to see how she continues to handle what life has in store for her. it definitely has been a bumpy space road so far.

Love this sci-fi erotica

Rachel Orlin did a great job with this second installment of Angel 6.0.

Escape picks up exactly where we left off previously and takes us on a wild, heartbreaking ride.

There were some insanely hot scenes, some heartbreaking moments and many badass-heroine cheering ones.

Can our Angel catch a break? I'm looking forward to the continuation of this series.

Better internal logic. It's not believable to have a military organisation with people disobeying orders left and right.
