Cowboy themed and Meth Addiction World

This was an interesting surprise. The story brings out the family anguish and destruction of drug addiction. No fluff. A love story also. The relationships are believable in rural Montana ranch life.

Too cliche.

Too cliche, poor character development. Only "stone cold cowboy" is the bad guy. Our protagonist is pussy-whipped from go.

Better have a Sweet Tooth!

I hope you like tons of sugar with a side of cheese because this book is nothing but cliche. The only thing original and exciting is the 1st chapter, after that the writing is dull, very repetitive and no real plot twists. The reader over pronounces and reads quickly which makes for a painful listen.

I generally dislike the very violent start of all books in this series, but on the other side I see, why this is necessary to give the men that very caring and protective side that drives the stories.

IT WAS CAPTIVATING & JUST PERFECT

What would you do if you'd walked in on a sweaty, sexy, sculpted, tattooed Rock God unabashedly having sex doggie style with his latest hookup? Well good girl Meg, being a shy and reserved pre-Med 21 year old Virgin, just stood there transfixed, aroused and inquisitively gawked at them but when she gasped then was spotted she went beet red, made her apologies and quickly left. Really embarrassed Meg tried desperately to just melt away in amongst the crowd of people at the Hollywood Hills Mansion but she was totally unaware that she'd just unwittingly interrupted and caught the eye of none other than the arrogant man-whore..... Lead Singer/Songwriter for her favorite Rock Band Sinful Serenade, the cocky and confident Miles Webb.

It wasn't long before Miles came looking for her, he seemed to be intrigued and refreshed at her naivety and cuteness and the sexual chemistry and obvious attraction between them couldn't be denied. These two were warm and wonderful characters and there was an ease and smoothness to their relationship which was fun and was filled with lots of witty banter, seductive flirting and supportive actions.

I WAS WIPED OUT BY THE END OF THIS BOOK

This book drew me in like a moth to a flame. It was so emotionally captivating from the very beginning, I listened practically in one sitting. There are points of the book that are so dark and devastating, I literally found myself grimacing and wasn't sure how I'd get through it. Honestly at one point I thought I might stop listening, but I was so thoroughly and completely riveted and drawn into this tortured world of Abbi and Jake, I had to power through. I loved it--emotional drain and all, this was a great story. TM Frazier is truly one of my favorites now.

Captivating story, unfortunately the narrative LACKS terribly

I was very disappointed with this audio. The story itself was wonderful. However, the narration by Lucy Rivers when it came to the male parts made me cringe to the point where I considered stopping the audio & finishing the book myself. Seriously, the female parts were just fine but it was horrible when it came to Mrs Rivers speaking the male parts. I think it's deceiving to say that this audio is Narrated by Christian Fox & Lucy Rivers because Mr Fox is only used for the prologue & epilogue other than that, it's ALL Lucy Rivers & like I said the female narrative was good, great even but when it came to her doing the male part, I cringed :(

I like the story

this is not a dual narrated book. Lucy Rivers is the one who read the book. I do not like her male voice. Fox only read the prelude and the end of the book. Book would have been better if this was read with dual narration. The story is good.

GRITTY, RAW & DARK... BUT BEAUTIFULLY EPIC TOO

This book, wow wow wow.... this book is every bit as brilliant as my fellow Reviewers have said it is and it absolutely drew me in from the Prologue, kept me riveted hanging on to every one of its unpredictable Chapters and left me floored and sated by the end of the Epilogue. It's not an easy listen - there's conflict, violence, tragic child abuse (threatened but not sexual), rape and an assumption that led to four years of heartbreak. But weaved through it all is beautiful love story where two damaged people find each other, recognize the other's pain, heal one another..... and learn how to love.

Abby is homeless, a run-away and has suffered more misery in her seventeen years of life than any one person should and she's got the emotional and physical scars to prove it. But it didn't break her... because, underneath her mistrust, mental scars, emotional hang-ups and hatred at being touched, is a damaged young woman crying out to be understood, to be helped and to be loved.

I love Fern Michael's books. I was excited that this was a long one but it awful. It is slow, uninteresting and not worth your time or money.

The Series Keeps Getting Better......I am SO glad that Ms. Clark decided to continue the series. I love Ethan and Ashley - I feel like I really know them, and there is no pretense between them. They both know where the other stands - they may not always agree - but there are no secrets between them. I can only hope that Ms. Clark has several more seasons in her author's mind.

Step brother with benefits 7

Ashley's Mon is ok with their relationship since she has known that Ashley has loved Ethan since the second grade. Only problem is telling Ethan's dad. Now that mom knows about jake what's gonna happen now? Great series.

Wow

I love this final book in season one can't wait to see what happens in season two of this step brother with benefits series. Love the author going back and forth between Ashley and her step brother cause it gives you an idea what each are thinking. I have read all the first season and this second season total books so far 1-10 can't wait for book 11

In love

I'm so in love with this story. I have read all the books and are only now leaving feedback. I know there are a lot of stepbrothers stories/romance but none are as well written as this one. This book in particular made me cry so much, I was a mess reading, gasping and feeling so sad for Ashley and Ethan. I guess that's what makes this series so special, the storyline keeps you hook and the sexy parts well... you know those are golden. I highly recommend this books you will not regret it. Beautiful storyline and amazing characters. So amazing and enticing. I love it so much I even own the audiobooks for it. Great job Mia you rule

Addicting

Yes this series is addicting . And it's cliffhangerish throughout . Be forewarned , you can't stop . And it's 20 books. I know how this goes . It's my second time through this series. And book 20 does give the best wrap up to this story possible. The most satisfying ending I've ever read anywhere. So, yeah it's worth it if you want to go all the way. 20 books, short little things, but 20 of them.

Great benefits!

I really like the tabooish stepbrother/ stepsister stories, so needless to say I really liked this one too. It's a series of short stories that males up one whole. So yeah, you have to but them all, preferably at once. Because if you're anything like me, you'll go through them really fast.

Mainely Humorous 30+ Romantic Drama

I was thoroughly entertained by Sea Glass Sunrise, my 1st book by Donna Kauffman. The main characters (Hannah, her siblings and Calder) were mostly mature (30+), compelling, quirky, intelligent and engrossing personalities. The sisters were all strong,women, not a doormat in the family and Calder was sexy, yet caring & kind. The "supporting cast" (other relatives and local residents) were also unique, adding spice to an original plot.

My only compliant was the lack of authenticity in the Maine coastal setting of Blueberry Cove, population just over 300. Being a native Mainer myself, the pronunciation of local towns (Calais for example) was totally wrong and no village of that size could support a police department or city government services.

Also the weather/clothing did not match the stated seasons (Hannah would have needed a parka to walk the water front in late spring, not a light jacket since sea breezes are always cool due to ocean temperatures never above 50, even in August). Furthermore, no native resident of Down East Maine (the coast north of Bar Harbor to Canada) stays home when in snows, which is 7-8 months of each year.

Regardless, the book was excellent with mild sex scenes and very little swearing. Amanda Ronconi has the best voice for humor, adding nuances to witty dialogue.

love this series

A great beginning to the McCray sisters story. Love Hannah and "Blue" in this story, I cannot wait to see what happens with Fi and Carrie. I think that I am going to have to luck into Logan's story also!

The writing and romance make for an easy engaging story. The narration adds whimsy.

Disappointed

I liked much of the storyline, but didn't like the intimate sex scenes! They are totally unnecessary and leave me disappointed . I also do not like to spend so much per book, so I will not be reading this Author again. Yes, she is talented. She should have lowered the price and cut the sex scenes!

Mind. Blown.!

REAP is a raw, dark, gritty, mind-blowing and intense roller coaster ride!!! Only the insanely talented Tillie Cole can create such animalistic, dark heroes that make my toes curl and my spine tingle!!! I absolutely LOVED Zaal aka 221 - he was a brain washed killing machine that exuded insane strength! I loved that our heroine Talia was able to break through his layers and despite the darkness of this story, the underlying story of love, family and trust shone through. This book was addictive, with a seamless story packed with action that had me on the edge of my seat! This book needs to be read after RAZE as the hero Luka from book 1 does have a few chapters in his POV which provides a deeper understanding of the storyline. 5++ "You are..for me" stars!!!!!

Brutally Dark and Brutally Beautiful!

Tillie Cole knows how to deliver a very dark romance that will have your heart racing and your mind reeling for all the raw emotions this story will evoke! Reap is like a modern day Romeo and Juliet but with a dark, dangerous, mafia twist where family feuds and deep rooted hatred of each other lead to violence and death. Talia's and Zaal's story is not for the faint of heart. These characters face many obstacles forged from cruelty, but with their love and passion for each other, they not only survive but thrive.

Some spoilers;

Zaal, know only as 221 was kidnapped at a young age, drugged, beaten and conditioned to do only two things, obey his master and kill. Because of what he has endured for years, any memories he had of his past are buried deep in his subconscious. While he was a prisoner and forced to kill, we get to witness some of the horrors he has suffered throughout the years. When he's finally rescued, he acts almost like a rapid animal and is not safe to be around. He's stuck in his head, and has a hard time coming to terms with his new environment. However, as Talia cautiously and patiently takes care of him, he realizes he's no longer being controlled and his humanity slowly comes back a little at a time.

Reap continues the story from book one about Luka, who was known as 818. In the previous story, Luka was able to escape and seek revenge for being sold and forced to fight to the death in cage matches. However, his vengeance came at a cost and a promise, a promise he's determine to keep.
