As it turns out, the best predictor of a child’s ability to flourish as an adult is not what happened to his parents as children, but rather how his/her parents made sense of those childhood experiences. Today Dr. Siegel explains how developing "Mindsight" - his own coined term - and making sense of our own story is key to becoming parents that will have a positive lasting impact on our children.
