Purpose by Design welcomes my friend, coach, and boss: Jon Talarico - owner and founder of The Million in You: a business devoted to helping people change their lives and achieve their goals.
Jon grew up in Flint, Michigan and has been thrown a lot of curveballs in life. His parents divorced when he was 7 years of age, and he grew up with his mother. She taught him about ‘stinking thinking’ and how it can negatively affect your life.
Jon persevered, changed his way of thinking and is now a massive success story. Jon loves teaching others how to do the same. His parents divorced when he was
Jon goes into detail about the importance of the way we think about life, and ourselves. From a young age we are taught that intelligence is based on what we retain in school. Therefore we end up defining ourselves in a limiting way. Basing our career and lives
on this limiting information.
There is a better way to live and fulfill our dreams. This better way is directly connected to our minds. Are we planting weeds or wisdom in the garden of our minds? We are God’s most complex creation, don’t you think we can do anything we put our minds to - especially if we are made in his image? It is critical that we connect to the right kind of thinking, network, and message.
Jon touches on self-image: what is the self image that you have of yourself? You will never perform greater than the limitation you put on the way you view yourself. We need to change our thinking in order to change our results.
Jon also touches on being intentional and taking daily massive action.
This interview is on fire🔥🔥. Do not miss this episode!

Purpose by Design welcomes Fernanda Castaneda: the COO of ‘The Million in You’ - a company that is led by Jon Talarico, a former guest, my coach, and founder of The Million in You.
Two years ago, Fernanda was a nurse practitioner who battled with depression and anxiety, not feeling fulfilled with what she was doing in life. One day she heard a speaker talking about mindset, and after 32 minutes of listening to this, something had already shifted within her. Fernanda found out about The Million In You and she joined the program and 2 months later, her life was changed. Shortly after, Jon Talarico asked Fernanda to come on board to help grow his Spanish following. Fast forward a year, she’s the COO and helping change people’s lives daily!
Fernanda's story is absolutely amazing! She shares about how she got off and stayed off medication. How she used to say things about her life that her body would listen to like, “I’m sick”.
Fernanda explains how mindset change is everything when it comes to experiencing success. It is truly the key to everything in life. Fernanda says we are the author of our life story and what we tell ourselves is powerful because what we tell ourselves, we believe.? Fernanda gets personal sharing about her children. "Kids are always watching. When we are able to teach the future generations that they are in control of their lives: imagine how much easier the rest of their life will be"
Fernanda talks about how amazing The Million in You is saying, 'We are truly like a family, trying to help each-other succeed, and build our community."
Fernanda encourages everyone to dream again AND to make that dream a goal! Step out in faith and take action!
Fernanda will inspire you to seek out The Million In You.

Purpose by Design welcomes Cordell Jeffers: a 29-year old change-maker entrepreneur and success who is such an inspiring person. He has a Caribbean background who had a rough go-of-it growing up. As a kid Cordell was labeled dyslexic and often behind in school. Cordell explains how his teachers didn’t really believe in him, which made it hard for him to believe in himself. He was kicked out of high school at 15 years of age at which point his mother decided to send him to the Caribbean to live with his aunt, where he was truly humbled.
Around the age of 16 years of age, Cordell knew he wanted to be the captain of his own ship and started his first business: an electronic business. He found quick success that gave him some newfound money. Cordell again attributes much of his success to his mother and her belief in him.
Mr. Jeffers has since built 2 very successful organizations, taught and coached over 9,000 young adults, been interviewed by the great Lionel Richie, received a letter from Richard Branson, spoke for Prince Charles, and more.
Cordell brings the wisdom on this podcast and motivates anyone to chase their ambition. He said the single most important factor is finding your WHY behind what it is you want.
Cordell says to take full action in all you do as there is no Plan B, as you ARE going to make Plan A your reality. A second huge contribution to Cordell’s success is living in gratitude, as if one is gratuitous then anger and all those negatives cannot be present. Cordell pushes daily routine, mental and physical health and wellness, and stress management as key takeaways as contributors to his success.
Cordell shares how it is critical to one’s success to hang out with the right people and find a balance in work and life.

Purpose by Design welcomes Luis Rosario, a 37 year old man who sheds some light on IGA Nephropathy which he has been fighting for years. He is so inspirational with his perseverance and never-ending optimism.
IGA Nephropathy is a disease that greatly affects how a kidney functions when it can no longer regulate blood and perform with filtering. Luis teaches that high blood pressure and scar tissue damage deprives the kidney from removing waste and extra water from the blood (as urine) and keeping chemicals (such as sodium, potassium, and calcium) balanced in the body.
Once one gets this, it can go away and come back sometimes multiple times through a lifespan. When Luis was around 15 years of age, he noticed some differences in his body. He had back issues and was urinating blood among other symptoms. When he went to get checked out by a doctor, they gave him a clean bill of health but the symptoms did not stop there. He went to get checked out again, where he was told that he had 30% scar-tissue damage and only had 3 months to live! Talk about a complete polar-opposite scenario.
After seeing a pediatrician, Luis and his mom journeyed to find every natural remedy possible to help his kidney-situation. Around the age of 17 years old, he went back for a check-up and was miraculously told that his kidneys were back to normal and the disease was gone!
When he was 28 years of age, Luis went back to the hospital where he came to find out the disease had resurfaced. He moved from California to Texas where he received his first kidney transplant which came from his own uncle. Luis shares the vigorous process of becoming a donor as there are tests and multiple things they look for before giving the “Ok” to proceed.
Current-day, Luis is on a wait-list for another kidney which will put him at 4 kidneys, and is doing kidney-dialysis 3 days a week. Each time is 4 hours in length. Which means he is usually drained afterwards but wakes up feeling his normal, upbeat self.
Luis currently lives with his mom where she helps him with his daily needs etc. Luis is actively hoping, praying and searching for a donor to show up for another kidney. Please if you feel any nudge or know someone who has had this on their heart to please reach out to him!
Our lovely guest shares the importance of getting checked regularly as it is critical to find things out too soon than too late. It is on you to be responsible as we often fear the doctors but it is they that actually help us find problems, AND solutions to those problems so we can live a long, happy life.

Purpose by Design welcomes Pastor Allison Joan Hall - who I met through Les Brown’s ‘Power Voice Academy”. She is a minister, speaker, author and coach.
Allison has trusted in God for much of her life. When she realized her mother spelled her name: All-is-on (Allison), she was excited by the meaning behind it as well as it has held true to date. Allison was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 which has been a long journey, as well as diagnosed with arthritis. These two things have tested Allison in more ways than one, in which she has learned to rely on God for all of it.
She is a true testament of what it means to be faithful in the Lord. Allison speaks on the difficulty that Bipolar 1 has brought about. She had trips cut short, panic attacks, hospitals and many obstacles. Allison has remained steadfast through the trials.
When she stopped taking medicine, her sister suggested taking a cleanse - which she did only to come to find out that she was ingesting 7 out of the 9 foods suggested to help. She is a very functional, successful person who gives it all to Jesus daily. Allison shares how a simple mindset change revolutionized her life.
You can read Allison's story in her new bookmarks, “Crack in the Potter’s Clay”.
This book will encourage anyone dealing with bi-polar disease to seek God and through him - anything is possible.
Allison speaks of learning to truly love and be loved and to be celebrated versus just being tolerated. She encourages us to watch what we let in our eyes and ears as that is a vessel to our heart - something we need to prioritize to protect. Finally, she speaks on how renewing our minds to the right mindset teaming up with the Kingdom leads to unstoppable results.
Tune in on Part 1 of Pastor Allison Joan Hall’s testimony here!

Purpose by Design welcomes my mentor and the man I call Bishop... the legendary LES BROWN. For anyone who is not aware of our guest, he is one of the most famous motivational speakers to date. He has counseled millions and taught so many to live the life they were meant for.
Les Brown imparts much wisdom to us today and is so fun to learn from.
Mr. Brown shares current stories regarding biological family members and how he is navigating this new terrian. As Mr Brown says,, "you can't make this stuff up!" His stories are absolutely incredible!
Mr. Brown also shares intimately about a Stage-4 cancer diagnosis. How he has trusted God and did not let it phase him. As he was on a mission to beat up cancer. Mr. Brown followed his own advice and called things that be not as though they were.
The doctor told him it had metastasized to 7 areas of his body and Les’s response was, “You may give me the diagnosis but God will give me the prognosis” He is the epitome of a non-fearful man who truly relies on Jesus day by day.
He talks about the kingdom being voice-activated, and how living a legacy is so important and how people need to live with no regret. It is very important that we find out WHO we are and WHY we are here. He shares how decisions are important in our lives and how we all have gifts to share. Lastly, Mr. Brown shares, that we need to watch what we listen to as it does affect us. Staying plugged into The Source is necessary.

Purpose by Design welcomes my Father-In-Love / Law Robert “Bob” Henkel. He is 92 years young and has so much wisdom to share today. He teaches the importance of faith in life as it truly takes one fateful moment to change everything.
Bob grew up in North Dakota before his family moved to Billings, MT. He joined the military at age 17 and served until he was 19 years of age at which point he went to university. There he met his wife of 70 years: Betty Henkel who he happened to see across the room at a college dance - it was fate. They soon married and lived in Helena, Montana in the same house until Bob sold it this year to move here to Minnesota to be with family.
Speaking of fateful moments in time, Bob shares with us how one time sitting on a plane: he was put beside (then) the upcoming governor of Montana where they got to chatting. The governor happened to know the man who hired Bob which led to him handing his campaign over to Bob which in effect: gave Bob a lot of success. Later on, Bob opened his own ad agency that was a commercial success.
Bob discusses how he was one of 15 leaders in the community for the state of Montanna and how he acquired phenomenal friendships for over 40 years. In 1972, the state of Montana voted to create a constitutional convention to create a new document as the 1889 constitution was obsolete. The governor asked Bob to market this campaign where he worked to sell it to the people of Montana. As the votes tallied up: Bob’s campaign exceeded votes by 2500 people! Bob was given credit for being instrumental in the passage of the state constitution. If it wasn’t for Bob, Montana would still have the 1889 version - something to greatly be proud of.
Our lovely guest found and managed the Old Glory Landmark flag with Mount Helena in the background which he has since retired. The opening had 2,000 people show up to support!
If that wasn’t enough - last year, Bob partnered with my husband James to create a thriving car business that is only growing to date. Bob is very active and handles day to day tasks keeping him very busy at 92 years young. In addition to all this, he created 9 half-hour travel films which won many awards, and are viewed today (you can find some of them on Youtube). He has since sold his home in Montana and moved into our home where he will remain forever-on.
Grandpa Bob is nothing short of an amazing inspiration to us all where he personifies hard-work, grit, dedication, and loyalty.
Please be sure to share this amazing man’s story as it needs to be heard!

Why Give YOU the Mountain?
Purpose by Design welcomes Pastor Jaeshon Jones: an on-fire Christian man who uses his INCREDIBLE testimony to help and guide others in life to climb their personal mountain - all to Christ’s glory. Jaeshon co-pastors at a church regularly and has been called to touch people’s lives by helping them discover their purpose by coaching them. He’s the middle man and vessel being used by God. He touches on his past and how he’s always had the gift to gab and has enjoyed speaking. He served in the Navy for 8 years. He talks about how when one lines up with the Kingdom in prayer - there is nothing that can stand in your way!
Our powerful guest has been through the unimaginable: he has persevered through 4 major car accidents, one of which he actually was pronounced dead until God saved him and brought him back to life. Another, he lost his ability to walk and God restored his leg’s abilities which he touches on and shares his experience with finding himself through that.
Pastor Jaeshon also talks about the difference between doing your job and focusing on the work set out for you. He reminds us that faith without works is dead. Pastor Jaeshon knew that he couldn’t walk, while sitting down. He had to do something. Even if all you can take are baby steps, that is alright, JUST keep moving. If we are going to ‘faith it’ - we need to believe God is going to follow through with what we are praying and doing.
If you are wondering what your purpose is or how to reach your goals: join Pastor Jaeshon’s 8-class workshop. Which you will learn all about in this amazing episode.
We only touched the surface today with Jaeshon and we will most certainly have him on again, where he will go more in depth with his story about losing his life and how God brought him back.
Please be sure to share this amazing man’s story as it needs to be heard!
