Huhudi cemetery in Vryburg in North West was a hive of activity as dignitaries such as chief justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma and liberation struggle leader Sophie de Bruin, laid the late Dr. Ruth Mompati to rest. Among those who attended a closed burial service of the late iconic figure was President Jacob Zuma who handed over the country's national flag to Mompati's niece, Cindy Ngaba.
