  • The Great Silence (1968)/ Elijah Craig Smart Time Liquor Private Barrel
This week Matt and I try out the latest single barrel store pick from Smart Time liquor in Grand Terrace, CA. It's an excellent 10 year old, 123 proof Elijah Craig single barrel. Well worth picking up if you're within range of the store. We enjoy a pour while discussing the 1968 Sergio Corbucci winter western, "The Great Silence" starring Klaus Kinski and Jean-Louis Trintignant. We both just saw this movie for the first time and have differing opinions but I can say I really enjoyed it and think everyone should see it. Massive Spoilers ahead so I recommend you watch the movie first, then listen, share, and subscribe. Cheers!

  • Halloween/Kills/Ends (2018-2022)/ Stone Enjoy by 10-31-22 Hazy IPA
We're a week away from Halloween! And seeing as how the conclusion of David Gordon Green's Halloween trilogy has come out a couple of weeks ago we decided to talk about all three movies. We dive into Halloween, Halloween Kills, and Halloween Ends. I continue the tradition of pouring a Stone Enjoy by 10-31 IPA. This is another uncut episode and we clearly had a lot to say about these movies.

We try out an IPA from Common Space Brewery in collaboration with Steven Ogg called 'Ogg IPA'. It's delicious.

  • Rififi (1955)/ Old Forester Rye
This episode was recorded June 27th 2022. Lindsey and I try out Old Forester Rye and talk about one of my favorite films, 1955's 'Rififi' directed by Jules Dassin. As always when I have lindsey on the show, we crush the entire bottle of rye which leads to our conversation evolving into our like or dislike of modern disney remakes and quotes from The Office. How does that all tie in to the movie?? I'm not sure to be honest, you'll just have to listen to find out. Cheers!
