Life is wild buttt we are back, and the next guest on Drinks On Dusty is the lovely and sensational... Lauren Garriott (@lmgarriott)!

Lauren is an actress, dancer/choreographer, singer, and badass all around. She’s performed in some of the best spots in NYC—including 54 Below—and even hit the road for the National Tour of A Chorus Line. Originally from Kentucky, she loves the Bengals, loves country music (oooooo hell yaaaa), ran a half-marathon during the pandemic, and is a proud vegan! We actually met working together, which means her coolest accomplishment is clearly drinking and hanging out with me a good amount. She is seriously one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met and completely impossible not to like. 

Lauren and I met while working children's birthday parties every single weekend for an early childhood company and that...bonded us quite fast.

Liz is a born-and-raised Nebraska girl like myself (except...I'ma bro) who made the move to NYC to pursue her lifelong dream. She’s an actress, a singer blessed by Zeus himself, and legit one of the most talented humans I’ve ever been in a room with. Liz and I connection goes wayyyyyy back and she will always hold such a special place in my heart.

Episode 5 and we are here to Thrive Baybay!

It’s my favorite ladies in NYC… Megan Goodman and Julia Wilkinson wooooooo!!! This was also our very first in-person recording, so we are stepping it up here on Drinks on Dusty peeps, get excited.

In this episode, we’re drinking rosé 🍷 (and at one point Megan very confidently says “white wine makes me slutty” which is now the title of the episode:) … so we just leaned into that energy for one hello of a time.

These two are talented, intelligent, stunning, and honestly two of my favorite people in the world. They also have to put up with a lot of random calls, texts, and FaceTimes from me… so shoutout to them for that. I adore them.

We all went to college together studying theatre. Both are actresses, musicians, and creators doing their thing in NYC and beyond.

Julia is an actress/director who’s worked with Norwegian Cruise Line and other NYC productions. She’s now fully leaning into directing- festivals, web series, musicals, and so much more. She’s out here building her own lane.

Megan is an actress and musician who’s been part of multiple NYC productions and is now focused on creating her own music. She’s an incredibly talented lyricist, and her voice is seriously like no other.

It was an honor having these beautiful ladies on the podcast for our very first in person recording and we drank ALL the rosé… and I mean ALLLL of it 🍷

In this episode I have the honor of having my favorite girls In NYC on! Megan Goodman and Julia Wilkinson are on and we are drinking every bottle of Rose I had for our very first In person Interview!! Julia and Megan went to college with me, where we were involved In the theatre program together.  Julia and Megan were musical theatre majors and moved to NYC together to pursue their dream. They have...a lot of dirt and stories on me, but they are my dear friends and now they have to deal with my drunk texts and me paying for all their drinks when we are out:)

Julia Is an actress/director/musician who performed on the Norwegian Cruise line and directed numerous shows In the city. 

Megan Is also an actress and musician In NYC who has performed In the city.  Megan Is a musician who can sing like no other and is working on releasing her own EP.

We talk about theatre, performing and their love for New York and what It has done for them these last few years.

We discuss them changing their path In NYC, how they've stayed close for so many years, and  the catcalling that happens In NYC and how they deal with It. 

As well as football, baseball, relationships, Dustin's first flight and how he thought It would crash In the water and just sharing stories of our life's. 

Dusty talks his drunken thoughts on Robin Williams, wanting a Pick up truck, LinManual Miranda as the modern Shakespeare, and Dustin thinking he could be a professional fighter.

In the fourth episode of Drinks on Dusty, we bring you one of my best friends and one of the funniest people I know... Joe Hanson!

Joe is an actor, musician, impressionist, and a huge heavy metal fan. He's also one of the most talented and kind-hearted people I've had the chance to know. We've shared a lot of laughs, stories, and adventures over the years, so having him on the podcast was a no brainer. One of my favorite things about our friendship is that we can take a joke, a character, or a random bit and keep it going forever, squeezing every last laugh out of it until there's absolutely nothing left. Also....I use to be Joe's role model...maybe.....but its a mistake lol.

In this episode of Drinks on Dusty, we're drinking Miller Lite 🍺 (because not every great conversation needs a fancy drink—just two basic Nebraska men and a couple of cold beers.)

We talk about creating characters as an actor, keeping your creativity alive when inspiration is running low, and why laughter might just be the best medicine. We also dive into heavy metal, Disney movies, college memories, friendship, and a few drunken stories that probably should've stayed between us.

There are a lot of laughs in this one as Joe and Dusty crack open a few beers and enjoy a conversation between old friends.
