The time has come....the best friend has come on the podcast!!!!  Ladies and gentleman I give you my best friend, Myles Phillips!!!!  

This episode will go every direction you can think of!  When Myles and I get together, our brains become one.  We talk about whatever pops into our head at that moment.  Our friendship is the most special bond I have in my life and  I do not know where or what I would be doing with out it.  This friendship is what legends are made of folks!!!   

Myles is an actor, musician, rapper, puppet master, and he is the most talented person that I know. Myles is someone that walks into the room and he becomes every ones favorite person.  He thinks outside the box, and you really never know what is going through his head. That makes being his best friend one hell of a ride!!!  

Topics that we cover  in this Drinks on Dusty special make NO sense but, thats how we like it!  We talk about Toast, hating each other at first, random hook ups, and much more.  We also get to dive into Myles child hood with growing up in a predominately white neighborhood, and what his journey has all been.   Where he has grown what struggles he has to battle on a daily basis. How to battle with anxiety and not feeling good enough.

Y'all, Tyler is truly the great friend that none of us deserve!  In this episode of drinks on dusty, we bring on one of the best friends anyone could ever ask for, In Tyler.  We grab some Coney Island pilsners and toast to daring to fail gloriously!

Tyler is an actor, director, artistic director of "Company of Fools" theatre  company and much more.  We met doing a Shakespeare show called "Much Ado About Nothing" and from then on its been an honor to have as great a friend as he is in my life. He is a loyal, giving, and  passionate person that shows up for the people in his life,  and anyone that has his friendship is lucky to have it.

In this episode we talk about being afraid to fail and overcoming that fear.  It's a tricky emotion to navigate and Tyler gives an insight on how he works through that fear.  We also touch on his and I's love for professional wrestling, that we grew up on from when we were kids.   Also, did you know that it is ILLEGAL to pump your own gas in New Jersey......ya, I found that out on this episode as well.   I've been slumming it, pumping my own gas for years, while Tyler just sits in his cozy car and roles his window down a smidge lol.

In this episode we welcome Moss onto the podcast and we are toasting with a Crown Apple Can (Shout out to Crown Royal).  Moss is an actor, teacher, singer, performer, and someone who likes to get into the deep convos.  We get to connect with Moss about their passions in life, the journey with their gender identity, and finding your true self.

 We tackle numerous topics on this buzzed out podcast and some highlights are teaching Dusty more about being gender fluid, creating boundaries, and who wins in a fight between Godzilla and King Kong.

As a special treat, Moss also reads Dusty's birth chart live and we get an even closer look on why Dusty is the way he is.  

Moss is kind, passionate, and just the right type of quirky you need in your life!! It was an honor to get to have a drink and connect over this crazy thing we call live.  From our spirituality to what are non negotiable is when we are dating.  Its a journey, but worth the time!

In this episode of Drinks on Dusty, we finally get to bring on one of the biggest mentors and influencers  of Dusty's life.....Greg Roderick.  

Greg is an actor, singer, director, producer, film editor, and film maker!!!!  He is also the man that when this podcast started, was listed as the number one guest that dusty wanted on.  Our connection and friendship has been such an influential part of who I am and how my journey started. 

Greg has been on Broadway in the Lincoln center revival of "South Pacific!"  A show he also guest directed me in at my alma mater of Nebraska Wesleyan University!  He has been in countless national tours, broadway concerts, off Broadway productions, and etc.  Basically, he has done it all!!! He also is a film editor/producer/and director!  This man can truly do it all.

It is an honor to have one of my mentors and hers on the show, while we drink and connect over a few different hoppy IPA's! 

In this episode we discuss reaching the dream, the evolution of the theatre Buisness, mentors in our life, our connection, and how to be your authentic self. 

We also talk about how I lived in fear of my car not starting, when I was tasked of being his "chauffeur" in college.  We reminisce on his journey to NYC, Nebraska Wesleyan, and what happens when you truly get the one thing you want in life!

Its episode 30.......Dusty is turning 30.......it is time for the 3rd annual Dusty Birthday episode!!!!!!   This is when Dusty brings on some close friends to host the podcast and interview me :).  They drink, they dig deep, and they figure out even more about your favorite drinking podcast host!

This year we have two of Dusty's friends in NYC!  Nicky Khor and Christian Jimenez our the hosts for this special 30 for 30 episode of drinks on dusty!!!

In this episode, we go a little bit deeper into Dusty's child hood and his relationships with important people in this life.  We get into a little more serious topics here and see more as to what makes Dusty......Dusty.   

We go in deep in this one. We talk about the importance of connection, triggering childhood memories  and how Dusty feels about turning 30.   We also get into feelings on losing loved ones in this episode (some tears may or may not have happened)

When it comes to being one of Dustys People...look no further than this guest!!!  One of my people in this world is none other than Wynston Nowak, or My Wynny as I like to call him!!   

Wynny and Dusty have been close friends ever since there freshman year of college. It all started with one trying to pull a fire alarm and the other thinking that they would never talk to that man again. But fast forward over 10 years later, and Dusty was standing along side Wynston at his wedding!

In this episode of drinks on dusty we are drinking Moscow Mules and diving into what makes the Wynston and Dustin friendship so close.  

We get into some deep convos  as well as tell some ridiculous stories that would lead to one of the strongest friendships I have. 

We talk about Wynston life as a counselor, how we met, Weston's coming out process, acceptance, changing mindsets and of course....we share each others mannerisms :)

Continuing our guests of Dusty's "People" Tucker is an actor, voice over actor, Shakespeare lover, bartender, and he describes himself as a human muppet. Tucker and Dusty meant in NYC doing a Shakespeare show titled Much Ado About Nothing, and this legendary friendship began!

We travel down stories on how they became close from crazy cast parties, drinking nights after wild rehearsals, and just trying to crack each other up everyday.

In this episode we talk about dusty's 4 ankle sprains, mens shirts, not being able to take shots,  being a character actor,  tucker thinking I'm a bully, perception, and much more!

Also, for the first time on drinks on dusty....a Tucker surprises Dusty with a very special request during the episode !!!

Its time for a best friend to come on the pod for some drinks y'all!!!!  On this episode of "Drinks On Dusty" we continue the theme of having Dusty's "People" On the podcast, and nobody is as close and as good of a friend, then Jake Morman!  

Jake was the closest friend that Dusty had in college.  They have shared all the ups and downs a friendship or brotherhood would have.  Jake is also the guy that has been apart of the most ridiculous/hysterical/ and moronic stories of my life. But, we had a damn good time doing it.....with some drinks :)!!! 

Jake lives in Nebraska, we do a throwback to where the podcast first started, and we connect on zoom.  He is a vocalists, massive tv show nerd, loves Superheroes, and is the most sarcastic person you will ever meet. 

On this episode we  drink old faithful Rum and Cokes and then talk about the journey off our friendship and all the pit stops in between!  

Some of the topics include: Our first meeting, Mission impossible stories, Old reliables, Marvel Comics, Friendship distance, TV shows, and we share some of our favorite stories from the past 10 years.

Also on the podcast, we do a segment called "Friendship Mannerisms" were we each say 5 of or top  Dusty'isms, and Jake'isms that we each have.  Its a fun one!!

It's time for a big episode this week on Drinks On Dusty!!!   Continuing the theme of Dusty's "People"  the guest this week is Dusty's Brother, Justin Minchow!!!!   A friendship and brother hood really built this last year and it all started with....beer and the Green Bay Packers! 

In this episode, we are drinking Justin's favorite drink "Twisted Tea's" As well as pretending to have a bush light and many more drinks that were had.  We had one hell of a time in this one folks.  

This is my favorite episode to this date for many reasons, but none greater than me and my brother talking about how our connection  has grown over 1 year.  Truly a friendship that I almost missed out on, and I'm thankful to have this type of friendship in my life now. 

Justin and Dustin's story is such a similar one, that it is insane.  Two born and raised Nebraska boys, same interests in family, football, beer, connecting with people and much more.

Justin Minchow is an actor in NYC, who is currently starring in the highly rated show "Drunk Shakespeare". Where he KILLS IT on stage.  He is a born and raised Nebraska boy, that grew up with such a wide variety of interests, and he will literally make friends with anyone in the room.  

We talk about it all in this episode, We get into some uncomfortable  and in depth conversations, but we also have one hell of a time.  Some of the highlights are the following:

Hello DOD Faithful! 

It has been a tough couple of months for good old Dusty and finally its time to come back!!!  This is a solo episode wiith Dusty drinking some corona's, which is a first on the podcast!

This episode gets a little deep about whats been going on in Dustys's life, we talk about his grandma, whats going on in the world, supporting the women of his life,  and.....why the show "Boy meets world" is a flag pole in Dusty's life.   

A bit of rant of an episode , but very happy to be back and getting back into the world. It is uncut and just straight buzzed Dustin folks.
