Dusty bunnies, every time I post a new episode of Drinks on Dusty, I tell you about how it's one of the Most or Best of something it is. Like, this is the funniest episode, this is the the most ridiculous episode , etc etc you catch my drift. I want to promise you this though, with the full return of these episode I'm rolling out, this one is the most heartfelt episodes I have ever released. Yes, this episode is fun, ridiculous and everything in between lol , but the vulnerability and openness of conversation in this episode is what takes it to another level. In the comeback episode of Drinks on Dusty, I bring you...the LEAD...Adam J Rice. My fraternity brother, my friend, and my family.
In this episode of Drinks on Dusty, I have my brother Adam on with a special co host and 3 time Drinks on Dusty Guest Julia on the pod!! And yes.....they are engaged:) We bring love together here on the show!! We discuss our connection on this podcast while we drinks a home town beer from Texas..Lonestar :)
May topics are covered in this episode, but the biggest convo that is discussed is how Adam and I found our friendship again after a troubled year of friendship. Why I love this episode is we both share how we felt during this time and how a traumatic experience in my brother Adam's life brought us back together. Because the most important thing in this life to me, is having your "people" with you for the ride. I open up about my mistakes in this episode and it was a wide opening experience for me. For a year, I lost two two of my favorite people in my life and this is an episode about how we found our way back, and I am beyond grateful.
We also discuss Adam and Julias engagement WOOOOOO, how we all first connected, share stories of college and living in Chicago, and Adam opens up about his father's passing. I'm telling you, this episode with hit some feels folks, so get ready! We also drunkenly talk about how Adam had to take the fall for a party that I actually threw :)
So grab your favorite drink and listen to some great friends reconnect and talk about why this friendship means so much to them!! Let the drinks flow and conversations grow y'all, cheers!!!!!
Imagine working children's birthday parties every weekend for 1-8 year olds. Imagine doing said children's parties back to back to back to back EVERY weekend. Insane requests, playing characters, trying to corral children all day like you are gathering cattle, and singing the Happy birthday song over....and over....and over again. Well that is how I got my first job in NYC as an actor and THAT is how I trauma bonded and met these 3 women that are now some of my dearest friends. For this episode we welcome "DA CREW!!!!" onto this podcast to reconnect and share our stories together....while drinking some Negronis..... and more lol. Please welcome Amy, Casey, and Erin onto their first episode of Drinks On Dusty!!
On this episode of Drinks on Dusty I connect with 3 wonderful ladies that I spent the majority of my weekends with for my first 3/4 years of NYC, all the way up to the brink of the pandemic. Thats right, only a pandemic could break us apart!
Amy, Casey and Erin are all artists in their own right. All three are different, yet phenomenal musicians and signers. They sing opera, they sing country, they sing musicals and I.....can rap...kind of (depends who you ask) . We all formed this incredible team at the children's company we all worked for together and every weekend we would work events On Friday nights, all day Saturday and all day Sunday, and yes...we would always go out for drinks after. We shared some crazy stories and times together during those years, and all those stories created a bond and connection that still stays strong to this day. Even though we all took different career paths after the pandemic, we still remain incredibly close, and the powerful thing about that is how different each of us truly are. Yet the bond stays just as strong because we accept each others differences and embrace them. They are all three incredible women that I am honored to have this friendship and connection with.
The topics in this episode vary from game nights to make Dusty look stupid, how we go through running children's events, upcoming weddings, and why this bond continues to last. Plus...much more :)
So grab your favorite drink and see how Da Crews connection is as strong as ever!! Let the drinks flow and the conversations grow!!! Cheers!
We all know that Dusty likes to go to a bar and meet new people. Get some drinks, talk about some nonsense and connect with others, there is nothing better. Only thing that may be better than that is if you meet the bartenders at your favorite bar and you then turn bartenders into true friends! And with that, now comes the story of Chloe and Sarah!
In this episode of Drinks On Dusty, we flip the bar around and make Dusty's favorite bartenders the customers on the podcast, while the host makes the drink for them! Chloe and Sarah work at Dustins favorite bar in all of NYC, it is a country and Green Bay Packer bar located and hells kitchen and it is were he met these two incredible ladies. What started as a "Hey, can I get another beer" turned into "Hey, what are we doing for New Years this year?!" And now, these two ladies hold such a special place in the Dusty's heart!
Chloe and Sarah are both performing artists who moved to NYC to follow their dreams. Both can sing like the angels in heaven and both can dance something Fierce! Chloe loves to sing country music, perform with bands, and is the type of person that is always looking out for others before herself. Sarah also teaches Yoga, enjoys crafting, and is the kind of person that you just want to hang out with all the time.
They are both incredibly close friends in their own right and through this episdoe they discuss what makes their own connection so strong and why every picture they take of each other looks like they are dating. lol.
In this episode we discuss how they both met Dustin and grew that connection, while also sharing stories about being female bartenders in NYC. We also discuss a variety of topics such as " What is the sign to give to someone if you are into them?" or "How to keep close friendships strong?" or even what our Mount Rushmore of Hall passes would be!!!!
This episode has a lot of conversation, a lot of drinking and a lot of fun! Check this episode out and see how this connection all started all at the end of a bar!!!
Let the drinks flow and the conversations grow y'all, Cheers!!!

For a long time Dusty has wondered "What does hot girl summer ACTUALLY mean?!" Well we finally get our answer with our next guest, Maddy Kasemichael!!
Maddy is a girl who doesn't take life to seriously and is fascinated by human nature. She recently decided to make a huge change in her life and dive and have an epic...Hot Girl Summer in the process. Maddy is usually a bit chilly and loves spending time with her friends and...her cat :) When she's not working on her computer, you can find her rock climbing, doing puzzles or her favorite activity...napping. Right now she is on a new journey and really embracing the idea of "where will life take me."

Ross is an actor, podcast host, digital creator, and has one of the most dynamic personalities that I have ever met!! He is that person that when he walks into the room, he is gonna take it over while you are dying from laughter! He has become a great friend this past year and our connection has been a true blessing to have.

We are going to pull the heart strings a little bit in this episode of Drinks On Dusty and give a little update on some wild things that have been happening in the life of Dusty.
Previous Guests Tucker and Tyler come back on the podcast to help Dusty navigate through a difficult conversation about an incident that happened and how it has been affecting him. But before that, they get to grab a drink and connect on this friendship that all three of them have and share some wild laughter while doing it!
We share about each of our first stories of meeting each other and how the friendship is just as strong as it's ever been. Tucker shares about his new job of narrating "audiobooks".....I'll leave it at that lol (XXXX). Tyler shares some light on running a theatre company and the deal he made with Dusty if he is 40 and single lol
We talk about the fist NYC acting stipend ..and how small it was lol, the theatre/art state right now, hall passes, and laugh/connect about the random shit that is hanging in Dusty's room.
Though this podcast is still fun and upbeat, we definitely get into some deep conversation about an incident that Dusty had on the subway and how he has been dealing with it up till now. This is a big update on what has been going on in his life recently and how he has been navigating through it all. So grab a drink and listen to a few close friends let the drinks flow and the conversations grow! Cheers y'all!
Long story long folks.....this episode is one for the record books! It is unhinged, hysterical, all over the place and is just the kind of episode that Drinks On Dusty was created for. Two one of a kind dudes let a country/football loving/frat boy into their life/friendship and it created a bond like no other!! DJ and Matthew come on the podcast and really just take it over!!!!! The love that I have for these two is unreal and live without them would really just be...boring.
DJ is an actor, performer, dancer, Impression MASTER, and a Brittany Spears connoisseur! The dude literally can hear the first 3 seconds of any Brittany Spears song and tell you exactly what song and Album it is!! He is someone that makes me laugh like no one ever can. A man with a heart of gold that gives his whole heart to all that he cares about.
Matthew is in Education Management, singer, performer, everybody's favorite human, and someone who can make everyone fall in love with him. He tells the greatest stories and is one of those friends that you don't ever want to lose. A ride or die if there ever was one!
In this episode we talk about it all while we drink Dirty Martini's and Tequila Sodas! We talk about the horrible lighting in my room, musical influences, finding love and connection, and "Straight Days". These two have a long lasting friendship and they share one how they found their way back to each other to build an even stronger connection. There is never a dull moment with these two and you will laugh, cry, laugh, and laugh more during this episode!!! The boys truly take over this podcast and make it one hell of a time. So grab a drink and listen to these two tell stories, berate me about a lamp, and bond over a wonderful friendship! Cheers Y'all!
The time has come....the best friend has come on the podcast!!!! Ladies and gentleman I give you my best friend, Myles Phillips!!!!
This episode will go every direction you can think of! When Myles and I get together, our brains become one. We talk about whatever pops into our head at that moment. Our friendship is the most special bond I have in my life and I do not know where or what I would be doing with out it. This friendship is what legends are made of folks!!!
Myles is an actor, musician, rapper, puppet master, and he is the most talented person that I know. Myles is someone that walks into the room and he becomes every ones favorite person. He thinks outside the box, and you really never know what is going through his head. That makes being his best friend one hell of a ride!!!
Topics that we cover in this Drinks on Dusty special make NO sense but, thats how we like it! We talk about Toast, hating each other at first, random hook ups, and much more. We also get to dive into Myles child hood with growing up in a predominately white neighborhood, and what his journey has all been. Where he has grown what struggles he has to battle on a daily basis. How to battle with anxiety and not feeling good enough.
Of course, we dive into our connection and what has made this friendship so legendary and important to each of this! So grab a drink and listen to two best friends drink, and have one hell of a conversation (sometimes it won't make sense lol). Cheers Y'all!
