Racing driver and broadcaster Alex Brundle is this week's special guest on the Driven Chat Podcast in the studio with Andy Jaye, Amy Shore and John Marcar.
Alex races as an endurance racing driver and is currently driving for Inter Europol Competition in the World Endurance Championship and had previously driven for United Autosports, Jackie Chan DC Racing, CEFC TRSM Racing and more. As well as the modern stuff, Alex also enjoys peddling classic sports cars as well as some occasional broadcasting and commentating, following a similar path to his father, Martin.
In this weeks conversation, we address the highs, the lows and the bad smells of motor racing. We also get an inside scoop on what it's like to race for a Hollywood martial arts film star (yes, really!). Plus, look out for a 'challenge word' in the mix of the conversation and some 'parish notes' from John Marcar towards the end of this weeks episode.

This week on The Driven Chat Podcast, it's a 'Three Men Four Wheels' TV show takeover to celebrate the show landing on Quest in the UK.
'Three Men Four Wheels' is a car show starring Drew Pritchard, Marino Franchitti, and our very own Andy Jaye. The show has been a hit on the Discovery Network's Discovery+ on-demand service, and it is now making its way to terrestrial TV in the UK.
Drew and Marino joined Andy Jaye and John Marcar for a radio show and podcast recording at our usual spot on a sunny Tuesday evening at Caffeine & Machine, which soon unfolded into the expected tomfoolery and fun. Expect strong opinions, some 'accidental Partridge' lines and a Scotsman vs Welshman swear off (don't worry, it's all censored!)

It's a two-part special this week on the Driven Chat Podcast in which, by means of a happy accident, we bumped into our old friend Tim Burton aka SHMEE150, who was very happy to join us for a radio show recording and talk about the delights of fame in the world of YouTubing. As well as Tim, also as part of our radio show on talkRADIO, we spoke with our freelance journalist friend Alex Goy who recently returned from experiencing the 2000bhp Rimac Nevera in Croatia.
We have included both conversations in full for this week's podcast, and we hope you enjoy it!
If you would like to hear more from SHMEE150 you can do so in Episode 29 of the Driven Chat Podcast titled 'Hi Guys I'm SHMEE', and if you would like to hear more from Alex, you can listen to Episode 33 'The Joys of Journalism with Alex Goy'.
As always, we love hearing from you and getting your comments, reviews, and emails to [email protected], so do keep them coming!

BONUS PODCAST HURRAH! - This week, we have a second podcast episode for you to enjoy! John Marcar and Amy Shore bring you a bonus episode this week with an exceptional guest - Phillipa Sage.
Phillipa Sage was a driving force in the production of Top Gear Live for over 12 years, acting as a PA to Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May as they travelled the world, putting on a massive moving Motorshow. Phillipa then entered the public eye when she was 'exposed' as Clarkson's mistress sending the tabloid press into somewhat of a frenzy. What followed was a seven-year relationship between the two.
Phillipa Sage has now compiled 12 years of memories, hilarious stories and genuine emotion, documenting her time working with the three most prominent names in the car world. The book titled 'On The Road with Clarkson Hammond & May' is nothing short of fabulous, and she joins us for a bonus episode of The Driven Chat Podcast this week.

This week on the Driven Chat Podcast, we discuss one of the most controversial talking points in recent automotive social media. Yep, 'that controversial influencer proposal'.
James Walker (better known to many as MrJWW) joins Andy Jaye, Amy Shore and his old friend John Marcar to talk about his journey from school stutters to internet stardom. And of course, we also discuss the aftermath of THAT tweet by Top Gear's Chris Harris that pricked up the ears of the entire automotive industry back in February 2021.
James offers a very open and honest account of how things panned out, what effect it had on him and his brand, and what's happened since.
Listen to the full-uncut conversation, only here on The Driven Chat Podcast.

This week on the Driven Chat Podcast Andy Jaye and John Marcar are in conversation with F1 Champion Jenson Button and TV presenter Ant Anstead to talk about their new project - The return of Radford, the coach builders.
Jenson and Ant are joined by designer Mark Stubbs and business advisor Roger Behle to talk about reviving one of the most iconic coach building brands globally and to share details on which cars will be the first to roll out of the Radford workshops.
Besides talking about the new business ventures, we put some questions to the gents about what got them into cars, their earliest motoring memories and even got them to disclose details on the cars they wish they'd never sold!
