Conor meets Dermot Bannon, who dropped in for a cup of coffee and what turned out to be a long chat. From growing up in Kinsealy and holidays in Wexford, and the long running success that is RTE’s Room to Improve, Dermot is great company and has great passion, especially for his latest project; Ava Housing, a charity that keeps people in their own homes by converting the upstairs into fresh accommodation.

He has fascinating stories on working with Michael Schumacher and traveling in the Formula 1 circuit, as well as why he feels safer facing Covid in Ireland than in his native Germany.
