Drunk On Books

Swoon, sploosh, and sigh... Two of our favorite peddlers of dystopian smut and leather-clad asskicking visit the podcast this week - Kit Rocha brings Sector 4 to Drunk on Books. ladies and gentlemen! We had no chill and even fewer regrets!

Podcast BFF Madhuri Pavamani returns with her latest book, Dutch, to fuck up our lives and break our hearts. But we love her anyway.

Check out her website and get a copy of Dutch today!

Lolo and Valkyrie take sides in the Battle For Ron Weasley this week during a spirited discussion of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child. A definite win for nostalgia, we dive in and discuss the wonderful wizarding world and how intensely Valkyrie wants to visit Potterworld. (hint: A LOT)

The week Lolo and Valkyrie talk hood lit and hood shit with homie Terri Harris. This episode meanders and weaves and ends up with singing. We apologize for anyone who is offended. Not really. Now pour yourself a shot of Henney and lace up your timbs, son.

Writer Thelonius Legend joins Lolo and Valkyrie. The destination was quickly forgotten and the car went all over the place, taking several left turns. The journey was amazing - and very woke.

Judging is what we do best here at Drunk on Books so it only makes sense that we discuss I'm Judging You by Luvvie Ajyai. Shit is talked and sensitive feelings are ignored. Suck it up buttercup.

This week Lolo and Le Valkyrie go Off The Books With author Albert Scott to discuss writing process, musical accompaniment, and fanfic-ing your own books. If you liked Inception you'll love today's podcast!

Yo. This week's book had both Lolo and Valkyrie shook to their drawls, clutching their pearls and reaching for the liquor cabinet! The Bourbon Thief by Tiffany Reisz was everything we've come to expect from the author - then she laid a bomb on us. Follow us through this journey into madness!

Stephanie from The Lemonade Show joins Valkyrie and Lolo this week to discuss the last dirty book we've read and some dirty genre's that are too filthy. Imagine that. And watch out for that whiskey. It's misbehaving again!

We're back literary bitches. It's 2017 and we are late! It's Lolo's fault and if she tries to deny it punch her like a Nazi... Or don't. We are kicking off the new year discussing a fabulous TV show and very popular book - The Magicians, by Lev Grossman. Love, love, love!!

Oh, and go Falcons!
