On this edition of Century: Marijuana in the Buckeye State. A bill in
the Ohio Legislature would revise the adult use and medical marijuana
laws in the state of Ohio and also impose new restrictions on
intoxicating hemp products. Senate Bill 56 was passed by the Ohio
Senate back in February. The bill then went to the House. House
committees in October approved major changes in the language. Senate
Bill 56 was approved by the full House on October 22 on a vote of 87-8
and sent back to the Senate for reconciliation and approval or
possible rejection. On this edition of Century we hear some of that
