Bad Ass Weekend 2023 in Georgia has come and gone, and Scott is joined by Justin and Trevor to talk about our seminars and some very hot spanking action. Scott talked about how to properly bully deserving bottom boys and ended up on both the giving and receiving end of some very hot bully play. Justin and Trevor made an example of themselves in an excellent public lesson about putting together genuine roleplay scenes in your spanking play.

Episode 50 was supposed to be a celebration! Instead, Scott, joined by Paul, a.k.a. Copper, has to discuss the state of L.A.’s Moonburn parties. The upcoming October Moonburn party is the last we have scheduled for the foreseeable future. We talk about what has happened and why, and what the future holds. We are working on keeping Moonburn going, but it’s gonna take a little work.

We also share fond memories of Moonburn and our friend Vern, who was a pivotal part of Man’s Hand Films, Camp Red Tails, and the Moonburn parties and just recently passed away.

All this, plus reminders about the pending Bad Ass Weekend in October (Scott’s giving another presentation on Bully Play) and the pending release of Steve and Mike’s book on spanking, “Bad Lads, Strict Sirs, and the World of Adult Male Spanking.”

Scott and Jaden are happy to announce that registration for 2024's Hot Seat Retreat will open on Saturday, Sept. 16, starting at 10 a.m. Pacific (1 p.m. Eastern). There are major changes coming to the room assignment process as we shift to a lottery system, which Jaden explains. For Episode 48, Steve from Episode 46 is back to join Scott to talk about switches. Not the implement—though we should probably talk about that, too, in a future episode. Rather, we discuss what it’s like to be somebody who craves both giving and receiving spankings as opposed to just taking on one role. Many, many men in the spanking community identify as a switch, but we haven’t yet had an episode focusing specifically on what it’s like.

We discuss both our real-life experiences trying to navigate our alternating modes of play as well as how the desire to both give and receive affects our fantasies and how we pursue them.

Registration will open at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (1 p.m. Eastern) on Nov. 19th. Rooms will be reserved on a first-come first served basis, so be ready when registration opens if you want a chance to stay at the resort. We also have rate agreements with two overflow motels. And we're making everything a little bit easier by allowing you to pre-pay registration.
