"Defund the police" is an incredible example of how narcissism can railroad what should have been a potential path to progress. (Alliteration unintentional).
Rational, logical, moral people agree with what DTP represents, but the slogan is awful, no other way to put it. No, it's not "just like Black Lives Matter." In the most literal sense, what does Black Lives Matter mean? It means....wait for it...Black Lives Matter!
In the most literal sense, what does Defund the Police" mean? Oh wait, you need to explain it because that's not what it literally means? Umm...that's not how slogans work. So...youre gonna change it right? You're not gonna dig your heals in further, right? Omg you are, because of course you are. Ugh...

A.I. (Artificial Intelligence):
Hell no. Who the hell is asking for A.I. at such an enormous scale? The amount of greed and shear hatred of [and lack of belief in] people that's already occured for the production to advance this far is mind-melting, not to mention the amount of money being poured into these projects. It's a ready made horror movie, and similar to many issues in current society, makes it all the more depressing to see so many support real-life movie villains.
Forgot to mention: a bazillion other things

Thoughts in conclusion:
The irony of finally naming the podcast what I've wanted to for years, Contextual Healing, then finally posting it with each topic getting minimal context...
I guess it's amusing in a funny, not funny at all sort of way. Sigh...
I could have spent an endless amount of time on each subject, with countless examples and situations and nuance and etc etc etc. This isn't the way I wanted to do it at all, but nothing about this is in any way how I wanted *anything* to go.

My twitter account is @ComarowsCorner
For the last year it's mostly just been my head exploding at various times, then taking a break, rinse repeat, but for anyone actually willing to search back, I went into tons of detail for damn near every subject at one point or another. It may take some sifting through, but it's all there in all it's rambling glory, though obviously the hundreds of documents where I've written more fleshed out thoughts will never find a home. Depressing...

The most important thing I hope gets across is the absolute necessity to prioritize morality, as well as making it clear that it doesn't take any sort of expert or genius to process exactly what's going on in society (consider me Exhibit A as proof of this).
It also doesn't take more than a bare minimum amount of time considering most of what I mentioned rarely changes much (if at all) in the way topics are covered.
The next time someone frames a topic as "vital for democracy" consider how much stronger an impact could be made if instead it was framed with a priority on morality.
And for what it's worth, this isn't anywhere near alligned with the "Love Will Always Win" crowd." Ugh, those people are ridiculous, it's an empty cliche taken to an impossibly dumb level. Even at the most basic level it doesn't make any sense.
I am not a liberal, a democrat, a leftist, or any other buzzword. I'm someone who simply wants the best for people and society, it ain't complicated. I support what's good and stand against what's bad, always with an open mind for nuance.
Again, it's ain't complicated....
And yet... I guess it is complicated, because otherwise these thoughts which I consider the lowest common denominator of what should constitute morality wouldn't place me on an island for my entire life. I'm sure as hell
