How Many Can There Be? Collecting Commissions. Part 1 It really comes down to two central elements – Time Value of Money and Risk vs. Reward. Collecting Commissions. Part 2 Take nothing for granted. Don’t assume people will take the high road and make things right. At the end of the day, it comes down to self-interest.

-Brokerage Beyond 2017– Are you up for the Challenge? -Exposing your listings and clients to a larger network of opportunities can create more value for clients and repeat business for those thinking beyond 2017. -It’s crucial that as an industry, we make CRE brokerage accessible, inclusive and exciting for Gen Y and Z, and as soon as possible. -Diversity affects your bottom line. If CRE wants to attract top talent, and the lucrative payouts that can follow, it’s imperative that we look beyond our closed networks and even beyond some of our standard business practices.  

Yes, Just Bitch. Everyone and I mean everyone saw this coming. What makes LoopNet different? Is their service and product so valuable that your business will collapse without it? Is their relationship with you as a customer so bonded and loyal that you can’t imagine any alternative? Do you think that your value proposition hinges on a platform that only you ( not your customers or clients) place a value on?

-You are not smart enough. -You are not big league material. -You are not a man. That should be enough to get you going. How about the other seven?      

It’s the work. It’s the talent. It’s the skill to get those tasks that are perceived as mundane done and is the real value you can and will bring to the table always. It takes Maddie and her green and purple haired friends 200 days of study and passed tests to just get to hang their shingle. The absurdity of the real estate business in general and it’s willingness to throw some unsuspecting couple doing a transaction and navigating a process that will change their life forever in front of a human being who sat in a row of cheap hotel chairs for 50 hours is........
