  • #39 - Why Do Thing One Time When Two Time More Fun

Apparently the new vibe for the podcast is to record an episode, listen back to it, realize the whole thing is entirely too much about April, go back and re-record the whole thing. At least that’s the move for this episode. 🤦🏻

Enjoy as I autistically talk about mic’s and sound gear for a bit too long, try and stick to a script that is about 75% April, all of which had to be cut out, and some bad edits to cut out the gnarly cough that just won’t leave me alone. A special message directly to April, Scotty gets another mention since he unknowingly made a fear dream of mine come true yesterday, and more! It’s a typical episode of the podcast, so dig in and enjoy you mob!

  • #38 - Looking Backwards Not Seeing The Future

Having discovered how many people from my life listen to the podcast, I decided to go back and listen to the entire show from the start to see what they were learning about me since I can’t expected to keep track of what comes out of my mouth. Having done that, I noticed a few things about the show and a pattern of behavior in myself that I wanted to address. We manage to muddle our way through that for the first 2/3’s of the episode, before getting to the meat and potatoes of the show. I’ll give y’all one guess what that is.

Threw out a big old declaration of where I’m at and what I want at the end, not that I think it’ll amount to anything. But I’ve said it, and I meant it, and now it’s a matter of sticking to it. Bit of a weird one, I swear I’ll go back to scripting them so they aren’t all stream of conscious drunk messes like the last few. Dig in and enjoy you mob!

  • #37 - Real Life Recap!

The podcast collides with real life! Turns out posting it everywhere and sending it to people means eventually they’ll come talk to me about it in real life. Shock horror, this action will have consequences. In all seriousness, it’s not that serious. We recap the Christmas party and address some thoughts people had about the podcast. Little bit of April, little bit of January, and a special new addition to the show. This episode has the distinction of being the first one I had to fully re-record because I couldn’t use the first one due to how very personal it was. It’s a week of first for the show! Grab a drink and dig in you mob!

  • #36 - Something Of A Continuation

Continuing on from 35, I had a few more thoughts about a few more things. A fun discovery about The Frenchman, discussions about why this “crisis” could not have come at a worse time, and just general life updates and running my mouth about silly work drama.

Really a return to the early days, no thought, no ideas, no script, just a man and his mic. Hopefully you mob enjoy!

  • #35 - A Struggle In 3 Parts

Welcome to sad boy hours, once again. We get up close and personal with all the fun things I’m struggling with lately, and dig into the 3 main culprits. This episode has the honor(?) of being the first one I had to completely re-record because the first take was unusable with how drunk I was. Welcome to the world episode 35.

As evidenced from the title, it’s all about how I’m being pulled in 3 directions and at this point something has to give. What may shock you mob is that this episode is rated A for April, as we have a return to the early days of the podcast and she plays a big part in this episode. Apologies if that’s not your jam but it’s my podcast and I’ll talk about what I want. Other mentions include Karl, past love interests, and a light touch on faith struggles. All in all not a bad way to spend an hour, especially if my problems make you feel better about yours. So crack a grog and dig in you mob!

  • #34 - More Boy Drama

In light of the horrendously depressing and/or serious content of the last few episodes, I figured we’d have a return to form for this episode. Sat down with no script and no thought in my head and just hit record. Can you believe it went about as well as you’re thinking? Yet again, being into the piss while recording proves to be my undoing as I fall down every conversational rabbit hole while trying and failing to stay on topic.

More thoughts on dating and what’s holding me back, an update on all things work related and the drama that comes with working on a construction site, and more I’m sure. I can’t remember all that was said in this episode and I haven’t fully reviewed it. Guess we’ll find out together what was said! Sit back and enjoy the mess you mob!

  • #33 - The Damage We Do

Continuing the serious trend from the previous episode, we dig into what is causing my dating life to fail (it’s me), why I keep repeating the same patterns, the problem that keeps rearing its head, and much more. Karl’s advice comes up and unsurprisingly goes unheeded. All brought to you via the Rodecaster Duo.

  • #32 - A Coward Dies A Thousand Deaths, Welcome To The First
Whelp y’all, a departure from our normally scheduled content, this one is a bit of a downer. An update on Autumn and all that’s happened there since episode 27. This episode does not paint me in a good light, nor should it. Not much to add, it’s a rough listen. Strap in and, if not enjoy, at least learn from my mistakes.

  • #31 - All Karl All The Time

Welcome to the non tragic backstory of Karl and I’s friendship! There really isn’t a whole lot to describe here, it’s literally the backstory of how Karl and I became friends. Towards the end we get back into the faith and noodle out some thoughts about that, so be warned this episode is rated G for God. Dig in you mob!

  • #30 - For All Trinity Related Inquires, Dial 3

Rare departure from our regularly scheduled programming, we dive into my faith struggles over the last few months and if I’ve even learned anything from going through them. Why am I fighting so hard against coming back fully, what do I have to lose by coming back, why do I keep ignoring the solid biblical advice Karl dispenses on the daily. All these questions and more were asked, although not all answered. If you’re not one for faith related stuff, this may not be the episode for you, although I’d still encourage everyone to listen to it regardless. Who knows what you might get out of it?
