Balasubrahmanyam was an Indian playback singer, television presenter, music director, actor, dubbing artist, and film producer who worked predominantly in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam films.  he held the Guinness world record for recording the highest number of songs by a singer with over 40,000 songs. On 1 July 2013, the Congress working committee unanimously passed a resolution to recommend the formation of a separate Telangana state. After various stages the bill was placed in the parliament of india in February 2014. In February 2014, Andhra pradesh reorganisation act 2014 bill was passed by the parliament of india for the formation of Telangana state comprising ten districts from north-western Andhra Pradesh.

TNR, was an Indian Telugu interview host, film journalist and actor. He was famous for his interview shows in the name of "Frankly Speaking with TNR". Many Telugu film actors, technicians and other celebrities were interviewed as part of this show. TNR was affected with COVID-19 two times. He recovered soon at the first but the second time infection was severe.
