DYS is a legendary Boston hardcore band, and the record that vaunted them into iconic status is 1983's Brotherhood. In 2023, the band celebrated the album's 40th anniversary and announced a reissue in cooperation with Bridge Nine Records. In this episode, bassist Johnathan Anastas discusses how the reissue came together and the pivot to using the proceeds to benefit vocalist Dave Smalley's medical fund.
