Dr. Cintron serves in the Love Life Ministry and has written the first prolife children’s book series and an inspirational book for young parents. She is passionate to help women in middle and high school learn about support and alternatives to abortion. They must value themselves and not find themselves with an unplanned pregnancy. She speaks to women, parents, grandparents equipping them with knowledge to share with their friends, children, and grandchildren.  A Life Preserved is a Life Deserved.

Dr. Marianne has been an educator for twenty-three years. Her Doctorate is in Education Leadership and Administration. She is the Vice President of Christian Business Partners in Upland, a member of the Global Society of Female Entrepreneurs, and in her second term as board member for the International Dyslexia Association. In 2021, Dr. Marianne earned several awards: Social Impact Award Finalist - Lady in Blue, Lifetime Legacy Award Nominee - National Women of Influence, 100 Women Global Award - CD Wilson Events, and Certificates of Recognition from the California State Assembly, the California State Senate, and the County of Riverside.  

She hosts three You Tube Channels, three Podcast Channels and has hosted educational webinars over the past two years. She is a speaker and author of seven books.

I developed a music app and two – Orton Gillingham-based reading programs, to help your dyslexic child read. Kids are making 1-3 year gains in only 30-40 hours of tutoring.

Education is Dr. Cintron’s third career, springboarded from subbing in her children’s preschool to being a substitute teacher in a mental health hospital. She never dreamed of earning 5 degrees with a call to expose that “Dyslexia is a Trait of Genius!”  She’s been an educator for over 22 years and a classroom teacher for 10. I use music with my Orton Gillingham Reading program and it so effective. Music, specifically string instruments (but wind instruments also) resonate with the vibrations in the body and with the water content in our brains and body. But here is an article that talks about so much more. 

In the research article by Adam Croom,  Music, Neuroscience, and the Psychology of Well-Being, he stated “It has been well argued by scholars that the biologically adaptive function of expectation is to prepare the organism for 'appropriate action and perception,’ with regard to future objects and events (Huron, 2006, p. 3), which is an undeniably crucial capacity for successful survival and reproduction.” The speech-to-text associations in a structured language, that begin in pre-school with rhyming simply demonstrate the connection between sounds and written words.
 
Explicit reading instruction that gives a student the ability to carefully decode words can be difficult for dyslexics, but with accompanying music they have a cognitive and attention advantage that can accelerate their success. At Step by Step Dyslexia Solutions, my research-based reading program produces solid results in reading comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary development. In some cases, students have made 1-3-year gains with structured literacy programs combined with music in as little as 6 weeks.

Mary Reed came to me with her story of teaching her sons to say the letter names and sounds and created her own pictures to demonstrate the ‘voiced’ and ‘unvoiced’ sounds. (if you put your hand under your chin and say the sound for the letter “v”, you will feel a small vibration. If you put your hand under your chin and say the sound for “f”, you will not. Your lips are placed in the same position, but the “v” is categorized as “voiced’ and the “f” is “unvoiced.” Our English language is full of these and if you email me I’ll share more sounds with you. We may even have a training to teach you these if there appears to be a great interest. Mary Reed shares her story of having dyslexia and not learning to read until 5th grade.  She considerers if nothing less than a miracle from the Lord.

Marian Waldman (Oct. 2017) writes “Kids who are adopted are twice as likely as non-adopted kids to have learning and attention issues, and one in five has a learning disability (Morin, n.d). So, of the 110,373 kids adopted in 2014, 22,075 of them could have learning differences, such as dyslexia.”

There are many levels to work with children to help build what we can phonemic awareness. I’ll share several levels with you in this video. It’s not just putting words together, but it’s many different things we need to do to help children put sounds together.  I want to share with you. ­­­There are so many genius dyslexic kids in our homes and their gifts are hidden because of low-self - esteem, or because someone hasn’t helped them identify their gift. Dr. Marianne Cintron is a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Administration, speaker, and author. She has a Master of Education in General Education and in Special Education complementing her two California Teaching Credentials. She is a Dyslexia Specialist, President of Step By Step Dyslexia Solutions, and an International Teacher Trainer. She tutors students with Dyslexia and recently completed 200  hours of Orton Gillingham training. Dr. Cintron developed “Step By Step Reading©” and the music and phonics app CDSM intended to work together to help the dyslexic child read.

She is the author:

She is a board member of the International Dyslexia Association Tri-County Branch, the Vice President of Christian Business Partners in Upland, an award finalist for the Social Impact Award by the Global Society of Female Entrepreneurs. She is a California native, has been married to Will for 32 years, and they have three amazing adult children and one grandson.
