In May of 1926, 21-year-old Clara Olson realized she was pregnant with her boyfriend Erdman Olson’s child. He felt he was too young to get married and didn't want to tarnish his reputation. So he hatched a plan to make sure nobody in his Wisconsin community would ever find out about his unborn child.
