Doing hard things is great! In fact, to reach our full potential, it's a requirement. There is ZERO workaround. No matter how much we wish, we can never become who we are truly meant to be unless we do hard things and suffer to some degree. We will all also have some degree of suffering happen to us in life. Whether that is an unexpected job loss, divorce, tragic accident, childhood trauma, or abuse of any form, we ALL will have things that cause suffering. Yet, while doing hard things is the key to growing, what if I told you most of us actually avoid the truly hard things? Many of us on a personal developmental journey use hard things as a shield to not face the root of the issue. We stay busy with our job, lives, children, friends, workouts, fitness, that we use up the time to do the hard work of rebuilding our internal worlds. Join me on today's journey to see how and why we avoid this topic and how you can begin to face the otherside of voluntary suffering to maximize your growth.
