Many people have heard about and even set goals before. But what if I told you that they were going about it all wrong from the beginning? To the point that even if they had all of the intention and motivation in the world, they would be ill-prepared to actually accomplish it by themselves. Would you believe me?
In today's episode, I tell you the one key truth about setting goals that increase the likelihood of you actually accomplishing them the first time you set them. Now like all things in life that are worth it, it does require some more work and effort on the front end than a traditional sense of goal setting. But if it means actually accomplishing your goals instead of being let down by another failure yet again worth it? To me it is!
So if you're ready to start actually accomplishing your goals and feeling good about yourself then listen in and use what you learn today.

In this episode of Chats with Zach, I interview my uncle Micky. In my family, he is the crazy Uncle. He's always having fun, giving people shit, and making every family gathering interesting. Micky is diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and experiences both ends of the spectrum. Extreme manic phases as well as extreme depressive phases. Int his episode we talk about all of it from how he has to rely on medication to stay stable, to how his diet and lifestyle impact his illness. We even dive into Micky's dealing with suicide and his experience with it. While this episode was fun to do, it is a very serious topic and has some dark and deep sections to it.
The goal of this episode was to show people an extreme case of mental illness and how to live life with it and still find the positives and cope. My hope is people can learn from my Uncles experience with his bipolar and take away a few lessons to help themselves or a loved one.
Have you ever thought about doing something and then got a tight sensation in your chest, or your breath catches and gets shallow before thinking that maybe going after that thing wasn't such a good idea? Have you wanted to accomplish something but the fear of going after it has held you back?
I have to. You're not alone. Everysingle human feels the emotion and station of fear. The only difference between us is that some have figured out how to use fear to help them get better and others have not...
Wherever you are on using your fear, I tack about a dash of the science of fear, some of the anatomy in our brain responsible for it, and my own past and current struggles with fear.
I invite you to listen in and to use some of the things I have to overcome your own fears!
