Eastmont Church Weekly Teachings

As we enter into another contentious election season, there can be a lot of confusion for Christians. There are no shortage of articles about evangelicals and voting. This Equip Night will be focused on how to think Biblically about voting. My hope is to get beyond talking points and platitudes so we can be faithful followers of Jesus in our cultural moment. I want to talk about Christian engagement in politics, the standard we hold politicians to, some of the major issues being debated, and how we should respond. While there is no shortage of commentary on politics today, my prayer is that we will allow the Bible to inform both our worldview and conscience this election season.
