We back to the Heavyweights this weekend, with 'UFC on ESPN+ 44' where the big men anchor the card!

Before that though, we have some interesting things happening. Like the unbeaten Ramazan Kuramagomedov makes his debut against the grizzled vet, Alex Oliveira.

We have a couple of rematches on the card. One nearly four years in the making, when Angela Hill & Ashley Yoder get to it. And the other, is Pedro Munhoz vs Jimmie Rivera which will be nearly seven years from the first throw down.

Alexis Davis is walking into a HUGE fight, as it's her first back since the baby AND, she REALLY wants to break her recent streak. However, she's going against the 'Colombian Queen' Sabina Mazo who might be one of the most slept on athletes in the women's division!!

Our Co-main has Magomed Ankalaev who has looked pretty sensational since the hiccup of his debut. He's going against Nikita Krylov who looked great in his last fight and wants to get back into the mix of things!

AND, the Main, you have to wonder, will the winner of Jairzinho Rozenstruik & Ciryl Gane be setting themselves up for a fight against Derrick Lewis!?!

This past weekend, we saw 'Legacy Fighting Alliance'  celebrate a BIG birthday and Heavyweights change the game!

It was 'LFA 100' on Friday and this time out we had Michael Chiesa joining Ron Kruck at the announce table

Tommy Aaron had been out for a while, but didn't slow down one bit. Continued to push forward and ended up getting the stoppage!

Steven Nguyen was able bounce back from his 'Dana White's Contender Series' loss, with some short work. Signed, sealed & delivered with a BIG right!

Fast movement and faster hands was a big part of Charles Johnson getting a second round submission

AND, Victor Altamirano gave five dominant rounds in order to leave the building, 'And New', with the Flyweight belt!

On Saturday at 'UFC on ESPN+ 43' the heavyweights came out, HARD!!!

Sergey Spivak got things popping and showed, sometimes, what you ask for, ain't what you want!

Then Tom Aspinall started the charge for the young guns, with his BIGGEST win to date!

Chris Daukaus continued things, but decided to end his night a round earlier and via TKO instead of RNC.

It wasn't just the big guys though, cause Aiemann Zahabi deaded his losing streak in sensational style. And you really saw what that win meant to him!

And Casey O'Neill made one hell of a debut! Her relentless energy paid off BIG

In the Co-main Yana Kunitskaya showed that if you never stop working, anything is possible!

AND, in the Main, Derrick Lewis demonstrated  that an uppercut is one hell of a takedown deterrent!!! And shock up the narrative of the division f'sure!!!

'Stunt 101' by G-Unit - 2003

'UFC on ESPN+ 43' is an interesting card, it's showcasing more of the new breed, the up and comers of the UFC And we could also be seeing some potential changing of the guard situations.

The first fight on the card is compelling, as Jared Vanderaa called for this fight against Sergey Spivak with his win on the 'Dana Whites Contender Series'.

The first of our old skool vs new is the return of Eddie Wineland looking to wash off that last bout against John Castañeda.

In the next we have the pitbull, Andrei Arlovski who's really changed his style to increase that longevity. But he's going up against the young, fast up & comer Tom Aspinall.

And the last sees Alexey Oleinik who can seemingly strangle anyone from anywhere. But he's facing the light & fast Chris Daukaus.

We got BIG answers, come backs, a HUGE shock, UFC 258 packed a LOT into ten fights!

Then Polyana Viana showed what a problem she is on the ground!

Belal Muhammad showed why 'Bully' is his social handle, with that suffocating display of grind!

AND, how many people had Anthony Hernandez winning via submission??? Had to be one of the biggest upsets and impressive things seen inside the Octagon!!!

Talking about displays of heart, after weathering a great effort from Maki Pitolo, and finding his footing after nearly three years on the sidelines. Julian Marquez mounted a third round renaissance, pulling off an anaconda choke for the comeback win. THEN, calls his shot with Miley Cyrus

Kelvin Gastelum utilised focus, experience and diversity to recharge his mission for gold!

And in the Co-main, Alexa Grasso showed she's not getting bullied in the clinch, her hands are fast & sharp and her BJJ game is straight legit! But in defeat Maycee Barber's effort in the third round was the heart you want from a young, hungry fighter!

THEN, that Main event, WHAT!!! Gilbert Burns didn't come to play, he gave his all f'sure. BUT, Kamaru Usman is a nightmare, it's not just in the name. Coming off the back foot, to implement an imposing jab, a brutal top game and then close the show how he did. PLUS, break Georges St-Pierre's welterweight record with thirteen straight wins! Name = respect, AndStill
