Echo Chamber

Our first @EchoChamberFP back looks at three, VERY different films! We have one about a car thief, another that shows a woman lost, but not desperate. Which is nice to have that different take on things. Then, we end on a love story, that gives different take a new lease of life. And show's 'black love' with the same respect & care that has sorely been missing!

This week we have:

So we first caught up with Cage Warriors 117, 'The Trilogy Strikes Back 1' event, which was headlined by Jake Hadley vs Luke Shanks

Then it was over to Rotterdam, Netherlands for Glory 76's main event, Badr Hari vs Benjamin Adegbuyi.

And ended with, something from the weekend, the big clash between Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell for the WBC interim Lightweight!

There's also some NFL recap and today's (ep 132) @ChinCheckPod breaks it all down, so let's get with it! 🥊

'Guinnesses' (feat. Angelika and 4ize) by MF DOOM - 2016

Everything is imploding right now, people! WHO and China are butting heads, things got crazy on 'BBC's Woman's Hour' as host Emma Barnett accused guest Kelechi Okafor of anti-semitism and questioned her validity to talk about #MeToo  And poor lil JoJo Siwa agreed to do a board game for Nickelodeon and now has to face the horrendous backlash for some salacious questions within said game....all this heat and more, is in today's #EFTV

PLUS,  Netflix ended 2020 by gifting the world with part four of 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina', so we had to checkout how this whole story would end!

AND, our Audible of the week, is the penultimate book in Benedict Jacka's 'Alex Verus' series. We hit book eleven, 'Forged'.

This week:

- JoJo Siwa want's to Chappelle a branded board game that has upset her fanbase!

- The World Health Organisation (WHO) and China are again at odds!

- Australians aren't finding humour in bat sandwich advert

- Breonna Taylors killers officailly fired from police!!!

- BBC's 'Woman's Hour' turns sour as host Emma Barnett accusses guest, Kelechi Okafor of anti semitism!!!

'All Caps' by Madvillain (Madlib & MF DOOM) - 2004

It's officially the new year, 2021 and we come in with BANG, thanks to Submission Underground

They ended the year (2020) right with 'SUG 20', that from top to bottom, or would you say bottom to top, anyway, the card was OUTSTANDING, hats off to the chef!

All the matches gave us something different and were great, but Micah Brakefield really got things going crazy with his last gasp win in the bottom of overtime!

Then Andy Varela kicked in the doorway with the 44!

As suspected Pearl Gonzalez vs Gillian Robertson really was a fun arse fight. The elation Robertson showed with the win, really shows she's gonna be a future belt holder!

Richie Martinez showed you why they say "freaks don't sleep", took under a minute of straight slickness to end the year right!

Then in the Co-main, Craig Jones really ramped up that rematch talk. Same opponent, quicker finish, 2021 he's belt hunting!

And in the Main event, Mason Fowler brought the show home with a phenomenal armlock against the extremely game Ryan Bader.

And, as we do, we jump everything off, with our with our week 17 NFL predictions

Today's (ep 130) @ChinCheckPod breaks it all down, so let's get with it!

'Steady, As She Goes' by The Raconteurs - 2006

So this is the last #EFTV of 2020 and the year definitely ended with some offset ish, but also a little hope! Leeds United are getting flack after Karen Carney threw shade their way. What happened to Keyon Harrold and his 14 year old son at the Arlo SoHo Hotel made you wonder what progress has been made this year! There's news on the Breonna Taylor case too. BUT, Argentina stepped up in a HUGE way for women's rights and overcame oppression from the Catholic Church! AND a woolly rhino from the ice age has been found in Russia Talk about year end.

PLUS, sometimes you need to hit things at the right time to avoid spoilers. Things were starting to get hairy, so it was off to Disney+ for season two of 'The Mandalorian' And have to say, definitely felt tighter this time around!

AND, our Audible of the week, is an end to Peter F Hamilton's 'Salvation Sequence' It felt fitting to end 2020 with concluding 'The Saints of Salvation' and ending the series.

This week:

- Father & son rescued from Australian outback....not as scary as seems

- Leeds FC accused of online bullying of Karen Carney!

- Argentina FINALLY legalise abortions!

- Two officers involved in Breonna Taylor's death may get terminated!

- Woman accuses & attacks a 14 year old for stealing her iPhone....he was innocent!!!

- Russia uncover body of a ice age Woolly Rhino!

Tonight we get to end 2020 (yes, yes, I know it's the 30th) with a surprise Submission Underground card, that might have been pulled together faster than Usain Bolt, but 'SUG 20' is a straight killah card!

This is 'Clash of the Titans' as we get to see Ryan Bader step into lions den and try and Grinch things up for Mason Fowler. But we know that Fowler is ready to mangle anyone and keep that belt.

After last time out Satoshi Ishii isn't backing down, he called out Craig Jones Word is he hates leopard print, and Craig is going to make sure that's what he sees in his nightmares!

C.B. Dollaway comes barking his way into the cage, but it's the return of Richie Martinez....and we all know freaks don't sleep!

AND, Pearl Gonzalez vs Gillian Robertson well be the Fight of the Damn Night!!
