Welcome to the power of prayer podcast. I am your host, Sherrie T. This is the best day of your life because God is in control. Our affirmation is we are excited, blessed, grateful, and, most of all, we are Believers 4 Life. We hope these moments of prayer and bible reading will empower you to have faith in God's word. Believe in John 3:16 and be transformed by the Holy Spirit. Inspire you to pray for your family, friends, and community... Let us bless the Lord at all times; His mercy endures forever. Let us bless the Lord our God, who has sanctified us by the blood of Jesus. Our Father which art in heaven, how great is your name. May your Kingdom come; may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven with a grateful heart; we give you honor, glory, and praise. Give us this day our daily bread...What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein...Many were baptized into Jesus Christ. Were baptized into his death? Therefore, we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so, we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall also be in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this...Let us bless the God of our Salvation. Who rules heaven and earth. Bless the God of Creation; we are His masterpiece fearfully and wonderfully made. Bless the King of King; He has done great and marvelous things. Oh! Give thanks to our Lord maker of everything. Your word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. May your presence and power be seen in our lives every day. The Lord is our refuge and fortress, our God, in whom we trust. Indeed, he will save us...Copyright Disclaimer: I do not have the copyright to the worship music that is being played on this podcast. Blessing and power to our King who sits on the throne and unto the lamb. May the meditation of our hearts and the words of our mouth be acceptable in your sight. We call on the name of Jesus to heal our broken hearts and open blind eyes. Teach us your ways as we study your word. May the Spirit of wisdom, revelation, counsel, and might guide us into all truth...Let me begin my reflection with a quote from Angie Stone, "Allowing myself to love God completely has obviously shed light on my self-love because he loves me more than I could ever love myself." I believe this quote is relevant to our text. As we seek to answer the question, What Happens When We Love God. There are 3 points I want to extract from this text that will help us see the answer. The first thing we notice is God's protection. Secondly, God will promote...Copyright Disclaimer: I do not have the copyright to the worship music that is being played on this podcast. How much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!... And where there is no law, there is no transgression. Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so it may be by grace and guaranteed to Abraham's offspring—not only those who are of the law but also those who have the faith of Abraham. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: “That You may be justified in Your words and may prevail in Your judging.” But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous in taking vengeance? (I am speaking in human terms.) God forbid, then how could God judge the world? If through my lie the truth of God has abounded more to His glory, why am I still being judged as a sinner? Why not rather say...Your faithfulness will be our protection.
